Hell Microsoft and Nintendo are in a business partnership by having crossplay and Banjo Kazooie in Smash bros even though Banjo Kazooie is not available on any modern nintendo platforms. When smash bros creator Sakurai was doing his showcase of Banjo Kazooie, he literally said “go buy an xbox one if you want to play banjo kazooie”. Exclusive are slowly dying.

Alien Hominid is not in the character select screen because of the different characters in the console version, you get different characters for the bandages. In order they are Gish, Alien Hominid, Tim, Spelunky, Pink Knight and The Ninja. Alien Hominid is the character you get for 30 bandages, replacing Josef on the PC version. For some reason, Alien Hominid was added to the PC version as a mistake maybe, this would explain why he is the only character (excluding meat boy) who doesn't have a character unlock screen. (also, proud flywrench user here, flywrench is way better than all the other characters)
Great video. If you do the Dark World, I’d love to see you use Tim, Goo Ball, and Brownie since they’re the only characters outside of Tofu Boy that are missing from this video.

This video kinda got me back into super meat boy after not touching it for about 2 years. One thing though is I don’t remember flywrench being considered such a detriment, I actually quite like them. Cause of that I actually just went through the whole light world as flywrench, every level is possible. Some levels require you to think outside the box which was a nice challenge, if you put their gimmick to use you can accomplish some neat skips. Something I’ve taken to note is that flywrench’s second jump can differ in height depending on how long you let the first jump last. If you spam it it’ll go nowhere, if you let yourself get airtime it can make good horizontal movement and pretty good vertical hight. The light world run took me around 30-40 minutes to beat as flywrench and I’ll attempt dark world at some point as soon as I unlock it all as I have less progress done on pc. Uncertain if you’ve completed your dark world run yet but I hope you’re willing to give flywrench a chance
Always nice seeing super meat boy stuff, and this is was an interesting challenge to watch. As a person who got 106% on the game, this was a great video.
I absolutely loved this video! The montage for World 4 was actually really neat and made me want to play the game myself. Only issue was that the start felt a bit slow but with some time it picked up to one of the greatest videos I have ever watched. Will make sure to watch more.

Since you can play as steve this means you're on pc, so you could mod super meat boy to make other characters playable in world 6 and world 7 (and including boss levels as wel)

the reason why headcrab isnt as good as gish or gooball because headcrab is more horizontal jumps while gish is more of vertical jumps which makes him better than headcrab
To properly test this, I think you need to factor in the bosses. Perhaps a video where you do the bosses with randomized characters. Could be interesting.

He can be playable by typing "petaphile" in the character selection screen (not the one in the pause menu), then selecting any character at the character select screen. It’s meant to make fun of PETA. Tofu boy is intentionally the worst character in the game. He has extremely slow sprint and wall jump and even gets tired if you sprint too long.
I think Alien Hominid isn't in the menu because he wasn't initially in the Steam release, it kinda seems like they quietly went back and added a lotof the bonus characters from other platforms to the Steam version at some point(s) because even back in the day I remember being baffled when he was just suddenly in my game despite never unlocking him before.

Hey just some advice If u look up Doug Doug music u get a playlist of 800+ copyright free music make sure to give the composers of each songs name in the description example: "dating start undertale-tobyfox" also try adding a bit of humor to the vids doesn't need to be constant but just a little something I'll make a group post about your channel good luck with future vids
Thank you for the tip I'll check it out right away, I've mostly been using either in-game music or the youtube audio library for all my music so far so this will be really helpful. I always try my best to give credit where it's due when it comes to music because these videos wouldn't be nearly as much without their musical compositions.
