We love our ‘22 Model 3 with the LFP and we’re so glad you filmed this car pickup with your dad! How special is that?!? He’s gonna really love this car. Thank you!
Congratulations to you, on getting your new Tesla. I bought a 2018 Model 3, I just made my last payment today. It’s all mine now. 😊 After 5 years of ownership with 45K on the car, I’ve had both front ball joints changed, hvac filter replaced, right rear lens replaced for moisture in it, and the 12V battery replaced. All at no charge under warranty. I just got my third set of tires, at my cost of course. I still have two years left on my warranty for the main battery pack, and electric motor. I’ll trade this in for a Model Y in a couple of years. Tesla is the best car on the road today. I can’t believe I’m still using the original wiper blades, they are still 100% good. 😅
Awesome video! I remember my pick up day was filled with excitement also but I was one of those unfortunate soles at the time when there was a huge wait and delays for the Model Y back in 2021-2022. Now, it seems like its a lot less of a wait time to get one of these cars. 🙃
This was so wholesome! and just relaxed feeling instead of some stupid drawn out video where they review and compare over some stock footage. Keep em coming ❤
Congratulations to your dad! I’m watching because I’m trying to determine if I can afford one of these beautiful automobiles… & if I can, at 72 feel truly comfortable in it. Your post is making me feel optimistic! Grateful 😻
Thank you, I'll tell him. I'm so glad to hear our videos make a difference. We have another video coming with Katie from Tesla giving my Dad a full walk through of the car, I think that will help with your decision as well. I appreciate you watching and subscribing!
LOL, you got a better car tour than we did during our New Jersey delivery. They just said "the car is in the back" and left us on our own. The paperwork left in the car belonged to someone else.
Same with our recent delivery of our Model Y Performance. Same Burbank location, but at the tail end of covid, so maybe that was the reason. We did everything on the app, no Tesla people anywhere. Luckily we were already Tesla owners, so no big deal. I'm glad my Dad got the full experience. Another video with Katie is coming soon where she does the full feature walk through of the car. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Very cool! I just took delivery of the same model and color. I did get the windows tinted because the heat coming off the glass was pretty hot. I also have the same wall charger. The adapter pops on easily. Enjoy! I am. 😁
Just make sure all your bolts for your temporary license plates are tight. I went there to pick up my model 3 2 weeks ago and it flew off. I had to get a new one just yesterday lol.
Thanks for the tip. I actually ordered slightly longer ones on Amazon, works great for the plate and frame. Thanks for watching! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09S2PLYTF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I picked mine up just over a year ago. There were no fit/finish issues at all. I stepped inside the show building for one last thing before leaving, and when I went outside to start my drive home, I see that a bird had dive bombed the hood. Of course the employees were kind enough to remove the spot before I drove off.
So cool to see your dad’s excitement upon receiving his new Tesla Model 3. I really enjoy my Model 3, and would love to convince my wife to get one as well!!
Good choice with the LFP battery. They should easily last over 12-15 years. I am not sure what LFP cells Tesla is using, but the solar battery LFP cells are rated for 4000 cycles. That would equate to 17 years of use.
We did the same thing in Sacramento! My son also had a 2019 model 3! I had an appointment to pick ours up. No waiting and all purchase paperwork was done online ahead of time. My 23 is exactly like yours including the color! After getting our model 3 my son bought a new Model Y, blue as well! Our Tesla experience was great as well!! Our Sacramento Tesla Center is smaller than yours.
I just found, Tesla Tips and Trips. Not a Tesla in my garage, yet. I may wait for the new compact tesla (model 2 ?) But sure like the looks of your dads blue model3, yes blue is also my favorite color with the black seats. At 76 years old not sure about the screen, but would become second nature in a short time.
Awesome you found us, thanks for watching! So far no complaints from my Dad about the screen, or anything really. You do get used to the screen, and with a recent software update you can increase the font size, which I love!
I don't know what other's have experienced with Tesla trade-ins, but they offered me 6k for my 2014 Camry with only 64k miles, no accidents near mint condition. Kelly bluebook was saying 12k-14k. I sold it for 15k to a friend who did his research and said he couldn't get it cheaper at auction.
Nice ride for dad congratulations on his model 3 Tesla n his ya dad n all of ya all putting PPF CLEAR WRAP ON HIS CAR N YOURS OR DID YA DID IT ALREADY TO PROTECT YA CARS . I don’t know if any car protectors in California that does this .
My last 4 interaction with the traditional dealer, it always last 2 to 4 hours with their going back and fourth numbers and huggling and junk fees. Before I can get that car. It’s exhausting. When I finally got a Tesla, I never have to talk to anyone. I paid $250 order fee I thought to get me in line, and just under 2 minutes, I was Assigned a VIN number, went thorough Tesla Auto insurance, but got a quote from My old insurance company which quoted me $2,500 per year from my previous $1,200 a year. So I went with Tesla for $175/year (I added some additional coverage) my friend pay $125/mo for basic coverage form Tesla.
Thanks for adding your experience, interesting to hear for sure. I wish Tesla would make there delivery experience uniform across all centers though. Thanks for watching
Congratulations. If all goes well, I will be doing the same thing in the not to distant future. I already know from the test drive that before I leave the lot, to match my driving style, the acceleration is getting changed to Chill Mode and the regeneration is going to be switched to be less aggressive.
My dad passed away in December. This day made him incredibly happy and he enjoyed the car for two months before his health declined rapidly. We ended up selling the car to a good friend, and I see the car all the time. It’s in great hands as this is his second Tesla. Thanks for watching and asking.
I also wanted Tesla for several years. Then i bought in this year. But i am not quite happy with their build quality. It gets too hot in the summer. No 360 cam, no front dash screen, no accesories comes with it, you need to buy all accessories and even charger. Car by it self very cheaply made. You will realize over the time. Goodluck anyways.
Just my opinion but... the big screen on the Tesla looks like an afterthought that someone glued on. Integration into the dash like Hyundai or Mercedes does looks so much better IMO. Buttons for frequently used features like heat/AC and radio volume would be a nice addition, and less dependency on cell phone apps. Still a nice car, that could be even better.
i got my tesla y from the same place, i love the car but the milage you get from the charge is horrible, i charge my car in a super charge at 20 percent up to 90 percent, and i get less than 170 miles out of it. i hate it i really do and im so frustarded. Congratulations to pops
Your dad is awesome!
Thank you, I think so too. I appreciate you watching!
We love our ‘22 Model 3 with the LFP and we’re so glad you filmed this car pickup with your dad! How special is that?!? He’s gonna really love this car. Thank you!
He was really excited, thank you for watching. Have fun with your Tesla!
If he's coming from a Toyota Sequoia, I think he might've been better off in the taller Y. Easier to get in and out
Katie was so nice. She even cleaned the exterior for any dust or imperfections. I wished my Tesla coordinator was as cool as she was. Congrats!
Katie was awesome, get ready for a full Tesla walk through video from her coming soon! Thanks for watching

What a great owners update. Thanks for sharing. Glad it’s going well. Thanks for watching.
How do you get a new battery was it no longer good?
How awesome to share this with your Dad.
Yes it was! Thanks for watching!
Congrats! I picked up my Y with my Dad two weeks ago and my Dad now loves Teslas! Way to go! haha
Awesome to hear! Thanks for watching

Picked up our Model 3 with LFP last month after trading in my ‘06 Honda Civic. Loving it!! Congratulations!!
Thank you, I'll let my dad know. I appreciate you watching! Enjoy your awesome car.
CONGRATULATIONS
The girl who’s wiping down the car is working with some pretty nice looking equipment!!! 😂
Expert camera work
This was so wholesome! and just relaxed feeling instead of some stupid drawn out video where they review and compare over some stock footage. Keep em coming ❤
Thank you so much. Nice to hear!

Thank you, I will, he is thrilled! I appreciate you watching.
He has Matrix LED Projectors. Very nice. I will have to check for mine tomorrow at Buena Park location.

I'm also waiting for the model two or whatever Elon wants to call it. The waiting is killing me LOL
I just placed an order for my dad, we got one in Grey. Hoping that this thing can withstand the Canadian winters since it'll be arriving in September.
Congratulations! Enjoy your new car. Thanks for watching!
Mine arrives in 2 weeks….so excited to see your dads pickup
Enjoy your Tesla and thanks for watching!
Congratulations on your Tesla. Drive safe and God Bless You All🎉🎉🎉

Very nice! Thanks for watching!
The charging adapter j1772 was supposed to come with the car. beautiful car, I love mine.
It was there, I showed him how to charge and the two handed technique with the adapter. Thanks for watching.

There is even an update for it! 😁👍 Congrats 🇺🇸
Thank you for watching! Yup, software update surprised me as well on a brand new car, usually takes a week or so.

Yeah, trade ins are all over the map. My dad was happy with the amount for his heavily used Toyota. It was on it's last leg. Thanks for watching.

Where is the best place to pick up aside from Burbank? Thanks
Liked the little he-he-he
Big ups to Katie giving her info on ya dad Tesla model 3. Have ya dad get all these up grades like screen protector etc
She was awesome. Screen protector video already shot.

Good for your dad. I’d love a Tesla. The price is an obstacle for me.
Thank you for watching. The used market for Teslas might be an option.
Congratulations.

Is 2023 model 3 rear tail lights now have amber signal light ? compare to your 2019 Tesla model 3
Yes for the turn signal. My 2022 Y has that also. Thanks for watching.
This reminds me of me teaching my dad how to use a smart phone😂😂
Yeah a bit like that. Luckily my dad is tech savvy enough.
Can we get an update on how your dad is enjoying his car? Or any challenges he's had with it?

How many miles did it come with from the factory
4. Thanks for watching.
Congratulations. But don't get offended or stunned if someone is asking about the CR.
Thanks, I'm hard to offend or stun. CR? Customer Rep?

4.5 years in, two Teslas. I’d buy again. Haven’t realized yet.

How was the trade in? Did Tesla give your dad a decent figure on his trade?
First thing in the video, thanks for watching?
Just my opinion but... the big screen on the Tesla looks like an afterthought that someone glued on. Integration into the dash like Hyundai or Mercedes does looks so much better IMO. Buttons for frequently used features like heat/AC and radio volume would be a nice addition, and less dependency on cell phone apps. Still a nice car, that could be even better.
Did you thank the pretty lady for scratching your paint from wiping it with detail spray? LOL
Of course, she was awesome! No scratches, it’s a car not a piece of art. Thanks for watching.
Say goodbye to 5 buck gas.
Model 3 isn't a car for older people. I dont get why they would buy it.
I don’t get this line of thinking, but thanks for watching.
congrats im happy for you guys!
Thank you very much and for watching!
i got my tesla y from the same place, i love the car but the milage you get from the charge is horrible, i charge my car in a super charge at 20 percent up to 90 percent, and i get less than 170 miles out of it. i hate it i really do and im so frustarded. Congratulations to pops
Thanks, bummer you are bummed.
You need to rebalance your car by charging it on AC from 5% to 100%.
