Cooking on Coghlan’s Emergency Stove | Trying the Osprey 13 Liter Daylite Daypack

I picked up the Coghlan’s fuel tab stove and wanted to check it out as another option for outdoor cooking or boiling up water for coffee or a dehydrated meal. It’s ultralight and a great little piece of kit to add to your outdoor gear collection or as a start up stove for any beginner. Let’s check it out.
I also picked up the Osprey 13 Liter Daylite Daypack as a go between pack from my usual 50 liter backpack. When the adventure changes, so should your pack. Let’s see what it’s made of and what it will carry.

when i was in the army we had just such a stove. Invented in Germany in the '30s and still used by the German army 🔥🔥🔥☕🫶🙋🏻♂️
It’s a simple yet effective design that works. Thank you for the history on the stove I find it interesting to learn these things about the gear we use and thank you for your for your service.
Great video. I have the same exact tablet stove but have not used it yet; more less it is for extreme emergences, and I have four packs of the fuel tablets. And I like the idea of aluminum foil underneath. I'm convinced now to just go out and try my stove out. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much. Definitely use a windscreen if needed, there was no wind in this video so it worked perfectly. I used it in wind and it will take longer but if protected , works fine ☺️

It took me a while but I finally got an off day to watch this video. I saw the Everything Bagel seasoning in Dollar General this morning. I wish that I had checked to see what all the ingredients are. I recently purchased an old time carriage foot warmer and I'm looking for an easy non messy safe fuel source and I may go with the Sterno cans for their longer burn time. I've been using tea candles but the wax gets everywhere. Your food looked so good that I gained weight and got gas from just looking at it. Great Day to you! P.S. I enjoyed a Buckler non alcoholic beer while watching this. 😁👍
Work. The necessary we all have to do 😫 lol. Everything bagel seasoning is sesame seeds, dried onions, sea salt, poppy seeds, dried garlic & ground black pepper. You can use it on so many things.. chicken, meats, soups and of course bagels. Sterno works it just takes longer but hey… enjoy the outdoors… no rush. I may or may not have gotten gassy as well. Never tried a Buckler but glad you enjoyed one ☺️ have a great weekend and thank you for checking this out.
