Not sure why they had to go with this lore in the 1st place. Just because Liss is a villain in the main canon & many skinlines doesn't means she needs to be one here.

@@mestre12 Sej just needs more skins in general but that was the one chance to make Lissandra fluid instead of her usual stiff and they gave the legendary to Teemo. Missed opportunity imo.

The biggest thing about our ice Queen is how when she moves, you always see the icicles or ice particles come out from the floor to carry her around.
And that gets rotated out to turn her into a lava lamp. That is more than enough said about the brilliance of this skin due to how unique it makes her usual trait looks. From being carried around by shifting ice to having lava lamp legs. Brilliant.
The effects on this skin are SO pretty!
You can hear the genuine excitement in Skyen's voice when he talk about the skin's aesthetics (following the acknowledgment of the criticism) and i live for it!
What she should’ve been is not the destruction of Groove, but the overtaking of groove. Have another villain be the one to try destroying it, but have Cassandra be the opposite, the reason why the destructor of groove exists. Too much of a good thing is bad anyways, imagine if her story was that Cassandra uses groove to take over others and win over their favor, furthering her control over everything. Like a dark twisted version of the thing you love.
Okay, that Space Channel 5 reference definitely gave me a good laugh. As someone who's been a fan of that series for years, I can definitely say this whole character skin line wouldn't look out of place there. 😂

I have a major Interstella 777 vibes from Space hrove Lissandra, and it's awesome because Daft Punk's best album, plus they're French and so am I and damn this is just one of the best creations for a goddamn album. They litterally made a 90's anime FOR MUSIC. And I love the concept 'artists are so ahead of their time they literally come from another planet/universe/dimension'

the interstella 5555 inspiration is super on the nose with nami's prestige skin, it's LITERALLY Stella
I think it fits the final boss of the skin-line thing. She wants it gone and if she gets her way, the only reminder of the good times is the one who took it all away. She'll make those good memories have the negative connotations of her.

Space Groove is one of my favorite skin lines because it looks like something from Galaxy Express 999/ Captain Harlock/ Interstellar 5555
I think she is dressed like that partially because her plan to destroy disco involves her getting invited to the big party
Oh, I adore that skin! I'm just so in love with it! I especially love her lavalamp ult, it's great.
Other than that I'm glad that her only goofy skin is so good, sometimes the goofier ones can tend to be miss or hit (esp april fools ones)

That lore is so insane tho? The disconnect is less of a negative and more just mind breaking.
Its like footloose, and this is her post arc form when she has accepted that she wants to get down and get funky with these groovy jams.
This is my favorite skinline, it just hit me the first time and i have a soft spot for it
I feel like one reason why riot may have been a little hesitant to go too far into rock or other anti-disco aesthetics for a champion skin is the inherent baggage that carries. What with a big part of the anti-disco movements of the disco era being rooted in homophobia and racism of the time. It feels a little.. Off. To represent that in a champion skin. At least to me.
I’ve come around to this skin but my favorite remains Coven in part because it made me feel like my Lissandra was finally getting some love. Her skins since Coven have all been really good, Space Groove Included!

She's a tsundere who because of some backstory reason feels obligated to hate groovy vibes or at least act like she does but secretly enjoys the disco. That's my headcanon at least.

Honestly would've loved if her design drew more from something like rave or hard dance even for that matter as those do fit the harsh vibes idea well opposed to the chill groovy vibes they dislike
Making her look like a Disney Channel would manage to drive the point home better than making her look like the musac aliens from Interstella 5555.

I'm not a fan of space groove skins (except for blitz one, cuz kittens) but this one is gorgeous. The only thing that beats it for me is coven lissandra, because of her white and purple gown, antler crown... It just so majestic and beautiful.

when i used this skin i notice that she walk a lil faster than her other skins
maybe she wants to be stealth about her real goal lol, that would be a pretty convincing design wouldn't it, or maybe she was into disco ages ago and grew into hating it

if i remember right, the lore is still writen by some guy on the side after the skins already been complete. Thats how it is for most skins anyway. unless your star guardian lore is just stapled on at the end

Liss should have gotten the legendary here. Twice now she’s missed out on the villain legendary of her skinline (Porcelain and SpGr). They could have gone so hard on Queen of the Harsh Vibes, made her wholly unique in the universe. But it is pretty for what we got

Honestly, this and her porcelain (including both normal and prestige) are some of the better looking skins in the game. Such good ones for 1350rp cost skins.
I wonder what skin would have been the best if this skin line didn't existed yet. I'm curious because higher production skins stand out a lot more if they have a good design and are more obvious candidates than less flashy but similarly inspired designs.

The only thing I dont care for on this skin is the Ultimate. When used on herself it looks like some kind of weird bottle of perfume and then when used on enemies it is a gramophone. Admittedly the gramophone works with her lore for the skin set if she is coming off as the older person that "does not get the young kids and their disco" kind of thing but just does not seem to fit with her overall look and feels out of place. Her self ultimate perfume bottle thing I just dont care for how it looks.
