After watching your videos I bought a LAUNCH CRP129E Off Amazon on sale at £207. From what I have learned from your videos I had the confidence and knowledge to code in new injectors on a Mondeo. Thanks for the videos!
i am retired and only look after my family's citroen vans and cars i think this would be very useful after watching your demonstration and enjoy your excellent descriptions of diesel faults
Jimmy fix it. I left the motor trade back in 2010 and you have rekindled my love of fixing cars since I found your channel back in 2022. That tool will definitely help me be a better man in every walk of life. Ps my wife will love it.
Thanks for the review Jimmy, small and compact device, very useful for road tests, I do like the ability to have all functions on the phone with the app which makes it more versatile, it's worth exploring all its functionalities, in addition to having another compact checker in your tool box, I would like that very much, thanks Jimmy.
Great review Jimmy, it’s a bit clunky- but that may be just being unfamiliar with it. It does pretty basic stuff, but saying as I don’t have any scanner it would be useful to me. Thanks got posting
Might not be the best scanner like you use but for diy use looks very handy and small in side , could be left in the car.? I would love one ……do,you post to Scotland or could be se t to my sister in England
I bought an Ancel scanner a couple of months ago. Not that model, but it cost me about £225. What a piece of junk. Put it on my 2016 Range Rover Sport and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Had to get my trusty £20 scanner out to clear the codes that the Ancel caused. Got in touch with Ancel and apparently its not compatible with my car ???? How on earth can it not be compatible with such a popular vehicle on the roads. Sent it back and bought an Autel instead. The only word you can put alongside Ancel is Avoid
I just bought a iCarSoft PRO MAX BT. With a Jaguar F-Pace I’m going to need it 😂 had a fiddle with it yesterday. Very nice bit of kit. €420 though 😮 as the cheap units can’t be trusted IMO
its a tool that able you to monitor things live on a test drive i assume egr air flow fuel pressure are all able to be monitored whilst driving .then it has it purpose diagnosing without getting the big boys out , pitty no dpf info ,but sometimes you just want to drive around and that intermittent fault occurs ,maybe you can catch it live without turning off the ignition and just don't have a proper scanner at hand .,but some cars arnt fitted with temp gauges ,this could overcome that issue ,im sure many more things it could monitor ,its magnetic holder makes it useful. and im sure if you passenger has a app on their phone they can scan items as you are driving .handy bit of kit ,but is only basic info ps if you put in live gauges meter would it pull up others gauges by scrolling?????
Soon be able to fill a van with all the doobries you’ve been sent 😂😂 be no room for a minivac. Not as keen on that one out of all the recent ones you’ve shown

12:48 I'm in the market for a cheap OBD reader, this was a really helpful summary. Many thanks

Good review, it was a bit lazy to start off with but it got there in the end, these things happen.

Would be great for leaving in the glove box , or clearing the warning lights before the nct lol😂
Hi from cork
Can detect transmission oil temperature
Not many cheap obd2 will perform transmission temps, instead use a handheld laser gun to check the temperature.
Might not be the best scanner like you use but for diy use looks very handy and small in side , could be left in the car.?
I would love one ……do,you post to Scotland or could be se t to my sister in England
Could I swap it for the brake fluid tester ;-)
Can it customize anything in the meter menu?
You can choose which ones you want on the device but better yet on your phone
HOW... many OBDs'... do you have? Great stuff, Jimmy!

Try an update, I had a similar problem with one car but uploaded it works great.
@@Searay68 Ancel themselves told me to send it back to them for a refund as it wasn’t compatible with Range Rovers.
How can I get one??
Any idea which home scanner to go for to use on a citroen relay van 2.2hdi 2010 plate.
Its a minefield trying to find one that will do diesel vans. ?
Not the best scanner, think I'll swerve that one.
I agree whole heartedly with that, no DPF pressure data, couldn't even spell engine properly, Nil point from me...
Morning Jimbo 👍🔥🚦
Thanks for the video.

Great video I'll like to review that scanner on my UA-cam channel see how good it is
Worth a look
Not bad
Seems to be a bit hit and miss. Wouldn't be my first choice.
Doesnt look the best but for basic user it's ideal. I'll have it lol good for my dad to use.
Not for me, I'll carry on using my launch euro,

Very clunky and limited uses. I'll carry on using my Launch 919X pro.
Let's be honest, that is a very basic scanner. Much better products avaliable for same money that do much more.

I got it from my mate this little OBD2 plug as a present and with my app I can do more and way easier than this thing, mot more then £25
😂😂😂no thanks
