Sir i have three more questions please help regarding that? 1.Sir which tiles in bathroom should be laid first floor or wall to prevent seepage problem in future? 2. In epoxy grouting which one would be better matching the tiles or contrast if the tiles are of same colour no mix only one colour 3.For bathroom floor 2×2 8 mm thick tile would be better or 16×16 12 mm thick would be better as mason was saying small tiles would be better for giving slope and 1×1 not available which one should i choose between 2×2 or 16×16 which would be best as per you sir ?? Tile brand Kajaria for wall it is 2×4 sir
Most people are selling standard SPC having 4mm core and 0.3mm wear layer. Some people have thicker (up to 7mm) SPC. For heavy usage, the wear layer should be at least 0.5mm or even 0.7mm like in some products available in Europe. Thank you for the feedback . There are more than 10 players who have started SPC making in India, including Welspun, Floorex, Samro, and others. Welspun makes in higher thickness also with wear layer of 0.5 mm...and few others too are promising similar products in 5 to 7mm. Having said this, the quality doesn't depend only on thickness of core layer and wear layer. The quality and long term performance also depends on quality of each layer specially that of core and wear (density and composition) apart from the integrity of the process and quality controls. Overall the SPC made by current players is OK for residential purposes if installed correctly on well prepared substrate but I still see the gap between these Indian products and best of products available Internationally. I am sure, sooner or later there will be better products. Thank you.
Retail price for standard 4 / 5 mm SPC is in the range of 150-300 psf depending upon quality, brand, quantity and negotiation. Front pr namii ka b masla hai.
Water resistance toh hai but water proof nahi. Agar paani lagataar rahta hai toh risky hai.
