@The Flooring Factory: Hello Roger, I did enjoy this video and have subscribed…It was very educational and I am considering purchasing SPC flooring after viewing…I want to know how long does this installation last? Will it last a lifetime? How do you maintain it? What is the downside you didn’t mention if I purchase from one of the big-box stores? Thank you in advance for your rapid response….
I installed over 2,100 sqft of SPC in our home and absolutely love it! Tough as nails and has held up to our x3 teenagers and x2 dogs. One of the things I love that some people knocked was the flooring being colder. We live in a hot environment and it stays so nice & cool! Would not change a thing and am so glad we went with SPC! 👍
Your testing is misleading. The darker color will show the damage clearly the lighter flooring. It’s more difficult to see next time you test use two dark colors.
@mally9226: THANK YOU FOR YOUR INSIGT…ALONG WITH THIS VIDEO & I’LL BE STUDYING SOME MORE VIDEOS BECAUSE I’M IN THE PROCESS OF PURCHASING FLOORING TO FACELIFT MY ENTIRE APARTMENT…I APPRECIATE ALL THE INFORMATION I CAN GET…
you compared an spc to a wpc , an spc is stronger on the composition part but on the click lock part wpc is superior and better. Each floors have their downs and ups for example yes spc is harder but it also gets very cold compared to a wpc.
My brain is about to explode! Thank you so much but I think I'll stick to new hardwood flooring. This is just too much and you're right, we are not engineers and I don't have you to take with me when I'm looking for my flooring.
I spill bucket of water over the spc herringbone flooring and left it overnight. Next morning we dismantle the floor and it wasn’t any signs of water penetration. I can say the SPC flooring is 99% waterproof and leaving 1% for your scepticism
SPC stands for stone plastic composite, the acoustic underlay is called IXPE, and you should only buy 100% virgin or new material from the spc manufacturer not recycled plastic or stone powder, we are wholesalers in Australia based in Perth.
super informative, I hope I can buy SPC here in my home country.😊
Very educational. Haven’t seen one video that explains all this like you did. Thank you!
Best flooring information I have seen. Great job 👍
Good show boss, I have SPC on my home. I love it.

I got spc flooring in my 3k sqft house. But not too happy with the appearance. But very durable.

lol one dark color and other light color....
There is more to flooring than dropping a hammer on it hammer head.
What do you expect from somebody from California?

Your video person needs to learn how to zoom in, comeon dude
100% waterproof but you need additional waterproofing underneath LMAO what a marketing joke
i saw other companies that say it is water-resistant but not waterproof. so it definitely not waterproof just resistant
