@@dineshvyasOTFSir i still see some Traders in IndiaMart offer asbestos tiles and some manufacturers license saying they're allowed to manufacture Vinyl Asbestos tiles among other tiles ( Like Kajarias license) Our house was built in 2016 so I'm not sure what kind of tiles our contractor put. So do I need to be worried or stop worrying. Also some tiles are peeling. Like What is the material in these peel. Thanks for the response and reply.

@@doit814 Soluble salt tiles mei design screen printing se hoti hai. Firing ke pahle thick paste of soluble salt is applies through screen. It penetrates to some depth. After the tile is fired, it is polished...some amount of top surface is removed but since the salt has penetrated little deep, you can see the design. In GVT, after design is printed by digital method, a transparent layer of glaze is applied. After firing, the top layer is polished so that the printed design is not removed. For residential usage both tiles work. But for heavy traffic space, the soluble salt design can vanish depending upon the penetration of soluble salt achieved. So, while body is intact, heavy usage in Comercial space may wipe out the design at some places. However, soluble salt tiles are still more scratch resistant than some high gloss PGVT tiles. No. It will dilute the adhesive. Please note if cement was enough, why to create specific tile adjesive especially for vitrified tiles? Required amount of cement is already there in cementitious tile adhesives. The confusion prevails as we don't have training programmes for masons and they may think otherwise. Thank you. - Team OTF

The previous layer must cure first. Time depends on the material used. Best is to check instructions of the manufacturer as it may vary... but definitely not immediately.
