Q: How can you emulate the PS3 BIOS?
A: If you have dumped your BIOS from your PS3 console, simply drag it to the RPCS3 emulator window to import it.
Q: How long does this process take?
A: An average from 30 minutes to 2 hours. This is the average time for RPCS3 to compile all of the PPL modules. Patience is key. Luckily, you can close the emulator and return without having to restart the compilation process.
Q: Can I access PSN?
A: Emulating the BIOS typically means that you won't have access to legitimate online services. While you can use RPCSN, I still haven't found an access key to connect to the PlayStation Store server.
Q: What am I risking while doing this?
A: You do risk causing some issues with the BIOS such as having graphical or audio issues, data failure and corruption, and any possible system memory failure such as unmapped memory.

It's mindblowing how much these guys and ps3 community achieved with RPCS3, in recent years. It's still sometimes hit or miss for some games, but it's nowhere close to when it was 2 years ago.

Good Video Man, i always have a ps3 once in 2013 i have the phat version with backwards compatibility but its broken during the hurricane of our town im sure i miss the ps3 so much

It’s actually not difficult to emulate the PS3 BIOS in RPSC3 but you won’t have access to PSN features however
