I’m lucky enough to have found two! First one I have rn had some issues but it’s a traditional whirlpool style but I’m getting a model just like this very soon
I think these are what replaced the 90 series. I bought a 90 series in March of 2003 and these models I think came right after the last of the 90 series washers. At one point I think they were both being offered simultaneously. Not sure now.
@@jamesorsby7553 Was the wash tub physically bigger ? Because manufacturers will change capacity sizes often by just changing the agitator design with the same tub. Whirlpool was no stranger to that as well as many manufacturers at the time.
@@patcola7335 The tub was physically bigger . The regular super capacity plus tub was 3.0 cubic feet. The Kenmore elite washers had a 3.2 cubic foot tub. It was called king size capacity and for a while it exclusive to the Kenmore elite washer line until Whirlpool started using the tub for the Whirlpool gold line series.
@@patcola7335 Yeah, they last as long as a Speed Queen. I have a 90 series that's still going strong. The triple action agitator has stopped going up and down but it still works as a dual action agitator. Other than changing the agitator dogs a few times, I haven't had any issues with it. They last a long time.
This machine is very loud compared to others and by listening it’s the transmission making that sound. Some are louder then others probably because of the way the transmission was manufactured, my machine which is a 1998 standard direct drive, u barely hear the transmission when it’s running!!
Because you did only 1 Video of this Washer, not even showing the Control Panel nor the Model Number, etc., only the Drum with the Triple-Action Agitator, I’m curious to ask what the Model Number is for the Washer?
i recently doubt that this washer moves 2 both ways when agitating -_- But i don't doubt that if there is to much clothes in this kenmore elite washer ^_^
I think it sounds kinda cool lol There's one near me but with four water levels.. $100 and needs considerable amount of work, these fools left it out in the rain. Should I?
@@DylBuilder1 probably not a bad idea. The more high-end, the washer is the more work it will be. That definitely panned out to be true with the new Kenmore elite I got. By the way, I said the control board inside the dryer out to be repaired. We’ll see what happens once I get that back. Though I do have to admit I’m not super inclined to keep making videos anymore. Maybe you can talk me out of it lol.
@@MatthewJames-st5wv I've been going through the same thing recently, I haven't been making many videos because I feel like they're getting too repetitive. The best thing to do is to take a break however long you may need instead of quitting! In the mean time I hope you can enjoy the new washer!
Pls I need the model number because I wanna buy the machine but I can’t really tell which one it’s is I used to have but then I have it away can somebody pls help me find it online or just giving me the model number
I’m curious to ask for the Model Number as well, as I happen to obsess with the Washer Machines & I like looking at different Washer Models alongside seeing them run in action.
You can bridge it with a small cable with gray and black or white and black, not the green one because that is physical ground, if you connect it with the green one you could damage the unit
Troy Leong that’s how these machines work. It’s called a direct drive and some sound different and some are louder than others but they clean great and I honestly don’t mind the noise.
I rebuilt the transmission on this one recently and did not find anything wrong with it. I took it apart, cleaned it, put a new neutral kit in, refilled it with oil, sealed it, and reinstalled it. The noise is not as bad as it was before, but it is still pretty loud. Until something actually goes wrong, I can only assume that it is just the nature of this particular machine.
My mom loves these direct drive washers. They’re great at washing ur laundry
Everybody likes the Whirlpool Built Direct Drive Washers.

These Kenmore direct drive washers cleans the hell out of clothes; just look at that water.
This is the exact Whirlpool/Kenmore model that I want!!! I hope I find one after I move out on my own.

The Kenmore elite actually a 90 series with two differences: the agitator was made differently and the wash tub was larger.

Will you be making any more videos of this machine?
Its not as loud when you close the lid

Chukachukachukachuka..
That is normal for direct drive washing machines
Sounds like a techno/club beat.
This is a Kenmore Productions haha haha🔥🔥💯💯👏👏😸😹😂😅
