This is the first time I've heard about the bankruptcy thing. No one knows his personal life and what happened. But this is what to expect when you mix business with friendship. I think this split has to happen for legal business reasons for Lisa and to continue to help James through another avenue without causing legal problems with Franey Nation. Unfortunately, with our business laws and an actual charity this could have caused her legal issues... her heart is in the right place, and I am sure that James is grateful. Cute the way you tried to throw shade by mentioning that Lisa monetizes her videos but Bonfire Banter does not. Monetizing isn't something just anyone can do. It requires a very high number of followers - which Lisa has and your little outfit does not. I feel certain that is the reason your videos are not monetized. Monetizing is not a dirty word. Thousands of creators do this for a living, so getting paid for it isn't unsavory. What IS unsavory is trying to make people believe Lisa is shady for doing it. No one ever heard of you before Lisa Laskey tried to boost you up. So be honest with yourself even if you're unwilling to be so with others.

Exactly. If you look at their other videos they have very little views. Without view hours you can't monetize. You can pick apart every point he makes in this video. Someone needs to rescue the truth but it is not gonna be these guys.

Thank you for your comprehensive update. I guess my only disappointment lies in the fact that Bonfire Banter aired messages from James that cast aspersions upon Lisa, and that, I feel, was uncalled for and even unprofessional on the part of BB given that today you are intimating neutrality.
Even explaining the situation they seem to want all the credit. Without the Go Fund me created by Lisa there would have been nothing for them to do. They are now trying to take the high road after the AJ video backfired on them. They do seem to like casting shade on every but themselves. Until they take some responsibility it is hard to take anything they say at face value.

I was a fan of this little sweet dog until I started seeing the fundraisers for a new car not a reliable used one after having a fundraiser for new teeth. The economy is really getting quite bad and the teeth may be an issue for fundraising but the car was too much. I knew this was not going to go well. Still loving Postman Dan who has made his own way in life but James was quite the other way to me. He is a grown man and should be paying his own way. Not a fan of him at all. There was always something about that situation. Lisa is a good woman but I do not think she should have involved people into the fundraising aspect of James's life because people did it because of the whole Frannie and James thing. How convenient that James only started getting uncomfortable about things when the fundraiser for the teeth and the car hit max plus plus. Not buying it.
I could have written this myself. Thanks for posting. It is the best overview of this situation and of how many of us I'm sure relate to what happened. I never donated to either fundraising campaign. As said here, I was never a fan of James. I thought it was a bad decision to ask for donations to pay for a new car [not used, but new to the tune of $40k with specifications] for James on top of the very expensive dental work FrannieNation was offering to him. I think Lisa is terrific and she and Frannie are truly bringing joy and happiness to thousands and thousands of people but I agree with "Lisa is a good woman but I do not think she should have involved people into the fundraising aspect of James's life because people did it because of the whole Frannie and James thing." People supported the fundraiser because of their love for Frannie. Instead I think of all that money going to animal shelters and rescue groups in need across the country. I was raised by the master of BS.Taught me how to spot one a mile away. Only problem is you're not good at it. I don't believe a word about how this came together but I do believe that you have the legal items in order. Here's my biggest issue. Your company did a good job at getting James to jump ship without even telling Lisa this was in the works. She had to learn a out it from someone else. Nice attempt to recover from this public relations disaster. A few points to ponder: 1.Disagreeing with you is not trolling 2. You are not a Saint for not monetizing your videos. I doubt you have enough view hours to monetize. 3. AJ accused Lisa of manipulation and lying. No foundation for that accusation. 4. Charity is best done anonimously. Had this been involving an employee at any place I've worked, there are policies regarding relationships involving gifts. Had anyone been following me, they would have been investigated and there would be questions about company time. This all may have been innocent but probably even is routes and deliveries would have been proprietary info. I honestly thought he was lucky to keep his job. I would love to see the goodwill directed toward those truly in need. My understanding is that Anazon does provide some benefits to its employees and this is good for everyone and their personal lives to step back and re-group.

I agree that there are three sides to every story AJ story Lisa story, and the truth lies, and somewhere in the middle, and we will all really never totally know the truth. How ever how does bonfire banter fit into all of this and why are they taking exception to taking over AJ and his side/platform going forward if there is a spokesman for him. They’re obviously getting something from it there either Getting some sort of publicity or monetary part of this all and it strikes me as very odd. This gentleman kept saying that it was the extreme generosity of the dentists that made this happen. No it wasn’t. It was the extreme generosity that Lisa put out there to help someone that she cared about in the beginning whatever that turned into I don’t know, but it seems to me in the beginning her heart was in the right place to help, a young kid who needed some help and in the end, it seems as if he capitalized on all of that and if he feels wrong, or if he feels that he was stocked or whatever the case may be then he should give all of the money back and walk away I would have more respect for that man. If he did that no matter what happened maybe she did stock him maybe she was controlling if that was the case he should’ve said no thank you and walked away from everything including the money for his teeth, and the car.

Thanks so much for this brilliant update. I especially appreciate your calmly laying out the facts and also the much needed “mini rant” at the end. From what I have seen over the past year (more?) is a suburban housewife (indeed she may have a job / career which I’ve not seen) with an adorable and sweet puppy who befriended her letter carrier (aka “Postman Dan”). So cute! Then along came “Amazon James”. Also very nice / fun respite to see the doggie kisses and excitement. Somehow, Lisa and her husband must have spoken to James; gotten friendly; heard his woes and decided to do something about this which is remarkably generous and sincerely admirable. However, along the way: something changed. When I saw the clip on the private plane, I knew something had switched from “PTA Mommy” to “Professional Influencer”, which can have tremendous monetary value. That’s where my antennae went up. Is this all part of the James Fundraiser or is Lisa personally benefiting from this? I have no issues if she is: why not? She and Fannie work hard and if like Brody the Tik Tok dog and Larry the Great Dane, there is money to be made: absolutely! Best of luck and in best health! However, just because She’s done an exceptionally great deed for someone in need, does not mean that she owns him. Charity should not, other than recognition if desired, come with entitlement. First, thank you for the answers you were able to give. When only one party is talking, you have nothing else to go on. I do want to say though donations are a gift given in utmost good faith, when you donate to a charity there is a break down of where and what that money will go to, that was provided when we were told it was going to his teeth or the car, that is all the information that we are intitled, though it would be nice to know when completed (and James has still done that by posting updates on his teeth). As far as saying that people drove Lisa into panic, that is where your truth stopped, no one drives you into any emotions, you are in control of your own emotions and the way you react to them. If she didn't have answers instead of panicking she had many ways to say just keep waiting, or I don't have the answers to that! Glad you peeps were able to help James with the financial management.

Definitely the social push from Frannie got Amazon James what he needed. And yes, people wanted to know the money went where it is supposed to go (I gave and was happy they money where where it should. That is all I wanted to know.) His details are his business to share as he wanted, or didn't want to share. (I am pretty sure a few of her tiktoks said she wasn't pushing them for money. Nevertheless, most were.) Amazon James had the option to put this on his channel and not hers. And if he didn't want things posted, that is all he needed to do want not post about it or allow her to post. I was a fan of this little sweet dog until I started seeing the fundraisers for a new car not a reliable used one after having a fundraiser for new teeth. The economy is really getting quite bad and the teeth may be an issue for fundraising but the car was too much. I knew this was not going to go well. Still loving Postman Dan who has made his own way in life but James was quite the other way to me. He is a grown man and should be paying his own way. Not a fan of him at all. There was always something about that situation. Lisa is a good woman but I do not think she should have involved people into the fundraising aspect of James's life because people did it because of the whole Frannie and James thing. How convenient that James only started getting uncomfortable about things when the fundraiser for the teeth and the car hit max plus plus. Not buying it.
I could have written this myself. Thanks for posting. It is the best overview of this situation and of how many of us I'm sure relate to what happened. I never donated to either fundraising campaign. As said here, I was never a fan of James. I thought it was a bad decision to ask for donations to pay for a new car [not used, but new to the tune of $40k with specifications] for James on top of the very expensive dental work FrannieNation was offering to him.
I think Lisa is terrific and she and Frannie are truly bringing joy and happiness to thousands and thousands of people but I agree with "Lisa is a good woman but I do not think she should have involved people into the fundraising aspect of James's life because people did it because of the whole Frannie and James thing."
People supported the fundraiser because of their love for Frannie. Instead I think of all that money going to animal shelters and rescue groups in need across the country. Charity is best done anonimously. Had this been involving an employee at any place I've worked, there are policies regarding relationships involving gifts. Had anyone been following me, they would have been investigated and there would be questions about company time. This all may have been innocent but probably even is routes and deliveries would have been proprietary info. I honestly thought he was lucky to keep his job. I would love to see the goodwill directed toward those truly in need. My understanding is that Anazon does provide some benefits to its employees and this is good for everyone and their personal lives to step back and re-group.

How ever how does bonfire banter fit into all of this and why are they taking exception to taking over AJ and his side/platform going forward if there is a spokesman for him. They’re obviously getting something from it there either Getting some sort of publicity or monetary part of this all and it strikes me as very odd. This gentleman kept saying that it was the extreme generosity of the dentists that made this happen. No it wasn’t. It was the extreme generosity that Lisa put out there to help someone that she cared about in the beginning whatever that turned into I don’t know, but it seems to me in the beginning her heart was in the right place to help, a young kid who needed some help and in the end, it seems as if he capitalized on all of that and if he feels wrong, or if he feels that he was stocked or whatever the case may be then he should give all of the money back and walk away I would have more respect for that man. If he did that no matter what happened maybe she did stock him maybe she was controlling if that was the case he should’ve said no thank you and walked away from everything including the money for his teeth, and the car.

I agree this should have been a private matter. I feel like neither party is to blame it's just creative differences. And your 100% right a gift is a gift you shouldn't expect anything back from it and even at that rate they still put out videos that were completely free to watch.

From what I have seen over the past year (more?) is a suburban housewife (indeed she may have a job / career which I’ve not seen) with an adorable and sweet puppy who befriended her letter carrier (aka “Postman Dan”). So cute! Then along came “Amazon James”. Also very nice / fun respite to see the doggie kisses and excitement.
Somehow, Lisa and her husband must have spoken to James; gotten friendly; heard his woes and decided to do something about this which is remarkably generous and sincerely admirable. However, along the way: something changed. When I saw the clip on the private plane, I knew something had switched from “PTA Mommy” to “Professional Influencer”, which can have tremendous monetary value. That’s where my antennae went up. Is this all part of the James Fundraiser or is Lisa personally benefiting from this? I have no issues if she is: why not? She and Fannie work hard and if like Brody the Tik Tok dog and Larry the Great Dane, there is money to be made: absolutely! Best of luck and in best health! However, just because She’s done an exceptionally great deed for someone in need, does not mean that she owns him. Charity should not, other than recognition if desired, come with entitlement. Lisa’s recent over the top videos of respecting James and his privacy don’t read as genuine and come across as “I’m so hurt but look at ME trying to do the “right thing”. Enough Lisa. You did something good. You have had your 15 minutes of fame and perhaps Frannie will continue her celebrity status. Enjoy your life / so more good things and STOP mentioning James. I do want to say though donations are a gift given in utmost good faith, when you donate to a charity there is a break down of where and what that money will go to, that was provided when we were told it was going to his teeth or the car, that is all the information that we are intitled, though it would be nice to know when completed (and James has still done that by posting updates on his teeth).
As far as saying that people drove Lisa into panic, that is where your truth stopped, no one drives you into any emotions, you are in control of your own emotions and the way you react to them. If she didn't have answers instead of panicking she had many ways to say just keep waiting, or I don't have the answers to that!

And yes, people wanted to know the money went where it is supposed to go (I gave and was happy they money where where it should. That is all I wanted to know.)
