You are missing context! Obama took over in the Great Recession. It takes a while to recover. But recover it did. Everything was on the up, and so Trump rode the Obama wave. Then there was covid, which, admittedly, affected Trump's numbers greatly. And then Biden also had to effect a recovery, and all those stats you just mentioned surpassed Trump's best days. Except for the inflation, part of which was price-gouging, the outlook under Biden in better. Simplistic analysis is for simpletons. Mine is only slightly more detailed than yours, because I took a couple of economics courses at uni but not enough to dig much deeper. The economy is complex, affected by multiple factors, some of which are beyond a president's control.

I don't think Trump has any chance. Kamala has a greater % of women voting for her than the % of men Trump has voting for him. Trump supporters tend to be under educated. They can't grasp the concept of 'correlation is not causation.' And if you ask MAGA supporters here to define socialism or fascism, they can't do it. They've allowed themselves to be convinced the culture wars are our real problem. When they figure out the true division in my country, are class divisions, we will finally see the progress we need.
