Thanks for the review! I'm in the market (looking at RF65 and 75 for farm work)...wondering if Bobcat and/or Deere attachments work on the ASV products? I think ASV has most of what i want but wanna know if there are limitations. Have you used for any mowing/brush clearing? If so, does machine handle it well or run into cooling problems?
Thanks Most attachments can converted it's usually fittings or electrical connections that need to be changed. The biggest thing to watch for is the flow rate between the machine and the attachment. As for brush attachments I have not used any so I have no info for you.
Gday, i was wondering if when your sitting in the seat can you see the very back of the track, I drove an old pt50 working close to a house, and couldn't see the end of track in relation to the house, have they fix that? Could you please show that angle? Thanks for your time and info 👍👍
I think I know what you mean but, I don't think it's any different in that respect in the Rt65. It might be worse now because the back end stick over the tracks more. I will try to do a video showing the differences between an rt60 and rt65
Acer here, Not a problem thank you 👍, just wondering if there was a gopro or camra mounted where that massive tie down lug is at the front is, wether it would give enough visibility to see objects close to track, may need to mount 2 fixed cameras to arm and left right screan in cab extra cheers
I'm looking at buying a new RT65 Max and wondering how you ordered yours, which packages and options did you choose? Did you include any attachments? Any recommendations? Also, it looks like you have always ran ASV, have you ever compared it to other brands with similar features etc? My other concern is dealer support, I'm located in SK and there are very few dealers in the west.
Yes I've always owned an ASV since 2009 and I've tried other skidsteers like Cat, Deere, Takeuchi, jbc all lacked in the ability department. I mean ASV has the highest clearance and traction. Everything pre 2018 is non computerized so working on them is easy and parts you can get easily. I can't speak for 2018 and newer because they're all computerized and I haven't had any issues yet. As for dealer I never take my machine to the dealer I do my own work. Change hydraulic lines and wheel bearings and change pins pretty easy stuff.
@@Northbaylandscaping Which package and options did you go with? All weather cab premium, plus hydraulics pkg? The other question I have for you, when they post the operating weight of 7480lbs, does that include an operator and the bucket?
@@samsmith1551 The package I got was the fully loaded all weather cab premium plus the highflow. premium cab gives you air seat, outside led lighting and beacon light and camera. operating weight is I believe is the machine with bucket and no operator. Looking at a RT 65 Max. I currently have a TL140 which I really like but I have more jobs in muddy area's for brush cutting. My brush cutter is 72" wide and weighs 1100 lbs. Have you ever gotten stuck with your RT60 or 65? Does the 65 really push well? Thanks
The worst I burried my 2008 PT60 past the top of the tracks in wet mud and all i needed was a chain to a tree and I pulled myself out. I got the job because nobody could get close to the area that needed repair. I've got the picture I've try to do a video on that. I just demoed a RT-65 today. I really like the machine however I had issues offloading a full skid of pavers (Mondrian 80mm probably about 3500lbs) off my Dump Truck. I’m considering going to the VT-70. I saw that you ran one for a year and you also do hardscaping. How was the VT-70 for loading and off loading skids of material?
Yeah the VT-70 is capable of lifting approximately 250lbs more at that height. You might like the RT-75 better because you get the best of both worlds. What I do for brick is get it delivered and let the brick company take it off the truck. If i'm picking up a couple of heavy skids with say the rt-60 then I get my guys take a few bricks off the front and lift it out. You really have to decide what you spend your time doing more to find the right machine or buy one of each.

I have never tried a ASV machine , but have been doing research on them because one is available in state .. Question is how is the financing ? also how about the cost compared to a Takeuchi ? have you ever tried a Takeuchi ? Thank you
I rented a Takeuchi in 2009 before I purchased my ASV if that helps. You can do work in any machine but, some just do it better. ASV has the best track system period. For me my forvorite skidsteer is the RT-60 for my type of work unless you need to lift more RT-75 max

Get your thermostat replaced. I had the exact same issue on my Kubota F3690 mower, it would run fine for a bit but then it would start heating up more and more until the overheat alarm went off. I'd let it cool but then only get 15-25mins more use before it would start heating up too much again. Turns out the thermostat was stuffed so they replaced it and she runs perfect all day long now.
