59:30 The Auld alliance is the historical long lasting alliance between Scotland and France
add 3 to all the stars for the actual effective stats. the base stats for any leader is 3-3-3 and if they have no expertise(stars), they will appear as --- --- --- (3-3-3). each star is a higher level of expertise, so 7-9-5 leader would be **** ****** **
I love how you never once think "Hey, maybe if we disband some of these armies that are standing around, the money problems might go away." Nope, just quit payin' 'em. That'll solve the problem.
@Zilitaz Sometimes I do remember the keyboard can do things like that, but habits are habits!
@USE4life Good to know! I guess that means France will protect them if I want to destroy them?
Making alliances like that and breaking them instantly was really doing a number on your prestige for a while.
@bobbyboy00000 most of the time they are very helpful, particularly ones concerning troop movements
The greatest thing about playing as Scotland is that every time you go to war you get 12 units free from the Highlands and when you go to war with England you get a whole bunch of awesome boosts.
You are doing fine. Hopefully if you're still playing, you've learned a few tricks, but here's a few things I keep in mind:
If you raise war taxes while you need money, you end up with a more efficient economy. The biggest boon to this is that you can raise Minting Money with a 50% increased rate while not increasing the inflation. I sometimes put the slider all the way into heavy taxes for added efficiency. It can be good to go to war just for the money.
Every time you pronounce "Glam-morgan" as "Glamour-gan", or "Gloster" as "Glau-kester", a little bit of my soul chips away.
thumbs up for awesome Reykjavík
"Fuck you Wales... fuck you dolphin" lol, well played sir.
So I'm coming here from eu4 and this game looks great. Would hate having to deal with the popups for every little war and alliance that occurs though.
Same here lol. Pretty sure you can filter those out.
@@Titantr0n You can't lol.
I've never scream so much for youtube to stop fucking buffering.
@Ludvig8888 You mean those red signs? They're just warnings/notices he's ignoring - not a new menu.
amazing..
@pkayerownspom The total cost would be well more than 100%, so he couldnt have annexed england outright back then.
You know those buttons over the map. I dont have two of those lines with buttons. I only have one line with buttons
I love your LPs but ... You NEED to start using space for pausing/unpausing and enter instead of clicking messages xD It saves a ton of time.
@Ludvig8888 Well, you posted this comment over three months ago, but I'll answer anyway: It is part of the 5.1 update for Divine Wind. Sorry, if you already figured it out, but I thought I'd tell you anyway.
you have a good laughter :D
nice videos man ;)
I am a big fan
@1:26:45: the Great mid-Atlantic Dong, the little known relative of the Bermuda triangle.
@horn0viola no it's Len-ster not Leen-ster
one of historys greatest empires, gone
I love him laugh on 1:28:37
How come he has so little expectations about his colonial range? It's the same as England's (if it'd gone all to plan) at this time.
Although this let's play was a long time ago, I'm really hoping that you didn't conquer London. I tend to puppet nations when it's only their capital left, as long as they're a different culture and I'm not tiny.
can some one tell me what royal marriges do from what i say if your in a royal marrige and the monarch dies with no heir you inherite all of the country's land
in the ealier episode i belve that u had all of england conquered except for london you should of taken london and full annexed them
@shenryyr2 depends if they finish the mission XD
Erm, can you clear something up for me? You claim your leader is 4/5/5, but when I look at the stars underneath his name i see 1/2/2. Is there something that I'm missing?
This fucking guy and his fucking laugh.
Subbed.
1:18:40 Dingle Bay? Is that for real!?
why don't you go for the mixed troop bonus
why do you get popups for everything? you just close them anyway.
Also how did he lower the inflation so fast? Was there an event or something?
He used a cheat.
hey shen! umm, im pretty crap at this game, i used cheats for quite some time, now that im trying normal games, i realised im crap, as im used to war etc. back when i used cheats, what is an easy nation with quite a bit of warring?
I love these videos. But as an Irish man your pronounciation irks me a tad. I know it's not even necessary to bring up, but I've decided to inform you anyway so you can wow your friends in future :D So Leinster is not pronounced 'LION-ster' but 'LEN-ster' Munster is not pronounced like 'MOON-ster' but 'MUN-ster' and Connaught is pronounced 'Con-UKT'
Sorry for being a dick- I love the vids and your style!
Zack
i love you
that's what she said :D
I made Irish North America in my campaign xD
*Doesn't have money and complains about it
*Builds a ton more troops with money he doesn't have
*Wonders why he went bankrupt again
Trump economics.
Its pronounced Len - ster, as in first 4 letters in the name lenny from simpsons:P
Irish America *trollface*
oh and also, i have in nomine.
North africaan nation are so underpowered
You can hardly sign alliances and marriage because of your infamy.
ok.
I'm from Denmark
U should have formed Great Britain
I would of laughed soo much if Sweden invaded Ireland hahaha
leinster pronounced len-s-ter
Wow England died I am shocked
lool he spells "Mareida" when it's "Madeira" haha epic fail dude! ;)
lol
you bully england
Really enjoy the videos, but your pronunciation of locations is irritating to me. Glamorgan for example. It is Gla-Morgan. Not Glam-Organ.
Youre quite a noob, but you are so lucky. lol
