@@notredame089 I just moved to North Queensland from NZ we’re absolutely loving it. I’ve been watching your clips for a few months now and am keen as to get out and explore more of your fellas amazing country, thanks for having us. ❤️ Straya!
No worries mate, we got some bloody good country over here but then so have you guys over there. Western Australia has a lot to offer. A very large place different scenery around every corner especially when you get to the Kimberleys🇦🇺🤠👍
@@notredame089 yup for sure different country over there. Had a quick peak at the Daintree, that’s getting the big thumbs up. I’ll get over your ways when I’ve had a decent squiz round here.
Gr8 job bloke. What's the weight of the trailer. A hell of a lot of steel involved. Would have liked to have said g'day but didn't see you running around when I was up that way cuppla weeks ago. Cheerz for the vids, gr8 viewing. Cheerz and beerz mate
Sick build vid Shane, would love a report on how that hitch goes after a few trips away. Run the ark myself and had a poor experience with customer service chasing spares for the hitch. Cheers mate🍻
Hi Shane you still alive after the big flood ….I haven’t seen you on U tube for a while hope all well and looking forward to seeing your adventures again
Looks the goods Shane, lot of work, great effort. Servicing the wheel bearings will be a pain each time. Will the mechanical brakes be enough with the weight of the trailer and the Vitara? Hope it goes well for you.
Looks good Shane. I made one similar for my quad. Your A frame looks a bit on the light side. Are you planning on beefing it up. I had to with mine as it bent over time and I was using 75x50
It’s all five mil heavy duty fully welded on all the joins not much ball wait will see heading back up the Gibbroad for Christmas gets quite a bit of a flogging out the bush
Hey shane , wondering about wheel bearing grease . I use magnatech g on my trailers and they have gone years with no wear . What do you use , do you know about magnatech g and if so what is your opinion. Regards Tony from melb.
Gday Tony, had a look at the magnalube g. It looks like a good product but a bit expensive. Love that it was a marine grade as well. I use Penrite marine grade high temperature wheel bearing grease. 100% Australian owned company that is rare these days. Highly recommend checking your on road trailer bearings every 10,000km and boat trailer and off-road camper trailers more often. Thanks for watching🤠👍👍
Awesome build mate 👌 hope it's going well for you
Brakes??? Wondering if ya could rotate the axle 90degrees , calipers at 12oclock. 👍👍👍
Bloody good 👍
Cheers mate you’ll be able to watch it in action coming soon👍🤠
