Nice stuff. Is that just the curved go pro mount on the shell of the helmet on the top? I've always struggled to get them on because of the pointed ridge on the protos
Yes, it is the curved mount. It doesn't make perfect contact everywhere, but it will still hold strong
Thats a nice setup!👍🏻 Is the media mod waterproof? Extra battery life would be nice especially in the winter...my hero 8 doesnt like cold, although if you leave it runnin it heats itself up and lasts maybe 1hour straight filmin but if put off constatly it will froze the battery...
Thanks for watching! So, the media mod is not really waterproof, but on the newer media mod for 9 and 10, they have flaps that can be closed when nothing is plugged in, it would probably be OK with some moisture but I wouldn't get it drenched. So, this setup will help with both cold and hot weather. By removing the battery, it gets more air and doesn't get extra heat from the battery. The cold won't affect the large battery as much. Hope that helps

You could, but it would have to be fairly large to fit the cord through, I thought of it but didn't want to drill my protos lol
