Wow, I've just been trying to cover melasma, without much success...this is impressive! My foundation coverage must be too sheer. I've only been doing it once, I'll try twice and see how that does. BTW, kept looking at your nails, and I have Nina Pink Frost (one of my favorites!), so think I have to try that by itself for a change, instead of as a glaze over another color like I usually do. Thanks for the inspiration!
It may sound easy for me to say as a person that doesn’t have a birthmark but I have other things that aren’t the norm. That said I bet natural makeup that didn’t set out to cover your birthmark would also be very pretty on you. The Victoria secret model is her named Winnie ? The one with the white birthmark is so beautiful for me it makes her unique. She still wears makeup to enhance her natural beauty wo covering her birthmark. But you look beautiful both ways.

Try a beauty blender, you get a really even blend, I get a lot of brush strokes when I try a brush application. Sponge works best for me!
Stippling and pressing the foundation in rather than buffing will help with brush strokes
