@@mansionofcardboard right??? and I find the hauslabs doesn't do that weird separating thing that some foundations do when you try to blend with your fingers and it turns into a patchy splotchy mess. it's so easy to use, it lasts all day, and I don't find it breaks up terribly under my oils either. just a fantastic all around lightweight foundation

The green chrome ColourPop shadow with the yellow/blue shift is FIRE and has a great color and shift. The rest are 100% duds on the shift. They all seem to go matte and then crack off after about 10 minutes. Not good. The shadow look you pulled off looks fantastic and matches your eyes beautifully. Well done, Soph.
P.S.- The HL’s foundation is the ONLY foundation currently on the market that has unique ingredient patents to date 😊!! It has NO GLITTER , and is the skincare properties that makes it so beautifully unique and popular for good reason 👍👏!
It must have been great to shop at a US Sephora, the UK one and store in London sucks compared to the American ones. I wonder if Haus Labs will ever come to UK stores, it would be nice to be able to try their foundation and also the blush

A little tip I’ve found when wearing glitter/a very intense shimmer/glitter shadow is to remove the shimmer/glitter with tape before removing the rest of my makeup. That was the glitter is gone so I don’t end up with glitter particles all over my skin. I swear by this tip & it genuinely makes my life 100x easier when removing my makeup 🩷

i got one of the CP chrome shadows from the legend of Korra collection and it's actually really beautiful. I got the lightest shade and its really shimmery and duo chromy but formula wise I don't think theyre the best...? as a pop of shimmer on the lid theyre nice but I wasnt surprised when that blue didn't work well 😭 They're a bit pricey for the size too
I love your videos! I was wondering if you could try using more than one mascara on your eyes? I use three everyday. Benefit “They’re Real” on the bottom, then Rare Beauty on top with Ilia over top of that. I have dry eyes so my eyes water a lot so having a water proof on style on the bottom really helps.
Hi Soph I just have to say that foundation matches your skin tone so well, I can hardly tell that it is darker than your skin tone and the highlighter is so awesome such a beautiful glow finish. I'm kind of tempted to try this foundation out. I have the Armani luminous foundation, il makiage foundation and rare beauty foundation and all 3 of them make my skin look so dry and they set into my fine lines. The houselabs foundation looks phenomenal
I would recommend you try actual good multichromes, I recommend the pressed multichromes from Terra Moons and Clionadh. I haven’t tried Devinah yet but heard they’re amazing too! Trust me indie brands do it so much better. Everyone I’ve seen in the indie makeup community who tried the CP liquid multichromes didn’t like them either. Super patchy and not very shifty
I really like your eyelook today. It is giving ethereal, sparkly, wispy manga/anime vibes. Would have loved to see you put on some of those spiky anime-style fake lashes on top of this. I wish I’d known you were here! (Nashville native) Also, I have very oily skin and with different skin prep that foundation wears beautifully on my skin! Oily skin don’t be scared, Soph used very glowy prep and it is definitely more of a satin matte finish on its own. Hope that helps anyone
It would be cool to see a video where you try out sustainable makeup brands (maybe some smaller brands) and give honest opinions! I’d love to switch to more sustainable makeup but I hesitate because I don’t know about the quality.

@sophdoeslife Karla cosmetics has multi chrome opal shades as well as duochromes and individual pigments (dolly and insomnia are STUNNING) and applied over their fix potion they look great and don’t budge, best thing is they come in little pots!
I had the worst time with the duochromes from Colourpop-I'm glad I'm not the only one! Also, glitter is the STD of the creative world, I'm completely convinced:)
I have oily combo skin and have been LOVING the huas labs foundation. I use the glow recipe strawberry blur primer on top of my normal skincare routine (kielhs milk toner, glow recipe watermelon toner, the glow recipe nicinimine, and kielhs moisturizer … let everything dry completely then flower with the primer) and omg it is absolutely gorgeous and last and last for hours with a *light* dusting of powder on top. I have been using the makeup forever powder and it has an been amazing combo. Also, do NOT use the huas labs powder. While beautiful it will not last at all. And you’re face will look sooooo greasy and gross, and this goes with any foundation under it. Not a good lasting powder. Only great for about 1-2 hours on my skin type.

I love your Super Spice Palette that you did with Makeup Revolution. I found it over at Marshall's for a couple of dollars and it's my go to palette for all year around mixed with the Colourpop You're Golden Palette. I totally do want try the Colourpop Chrome Liquid Eyeshadows in Bliss, Decode, Glaze, and Supernova. I did want try the HAUS Labs foundation but I'm kind on the fence of getting it or not getting it.
I bought all the new ColourPop liquid eye shadows and was extremely disappointed in them as well and one of them burned my eyes and they won't even do a refund. I will never buy from ColourPop again because every other makeup company will do refunds.
Sephora U.K. doesn’t offer the sale events w/percentage discounts , and at least you didn’t have to pay for international shipping on your Haus Labs foundation 💁♀️.

Apparently if you freeze bags of glitter before you decant them it is supposed to stop static and you can get all the glitter out no problem?
