Hey everyone! Sorry I forgot to mention the shade! 240 Light medium warm is what I have used here🖤 *update after a week of using this foundation* - this is such a beautiful foundation I went one evening with just a small amount on and it sat so incredibly well on my oily skin! I’ve been using it in most of my videos also!
You said not “the color is not overly incorrect.” So what shade would you change it too?

I have dry skin and I prep my skin so well but I feel like all foundations look like they separate on my skin or at least I think that’s what u call it… looks kind of patchy within a few hours what am I doing wrong 🙈

As a sephora employee, I get a ton of foundations from many brands to try on. THIS foundation is one of the best ones EVER! it sits so beautifully on the skin I cannot recommend it enough.

My skin loves this foundation! It sits beautifully. My immediate notice was how my undereye area looked - seamless and healthy (no visible darkness). Didn't seem heavy at all. I'm in my mid-40s with combo/dry skin, some pores on my nose, some "life" lines on my forehead. This is a lovely product!!

This foundation has worked really beautifully for me. I wore it to a party and I got a compliment on my skin and how smooth it looked.
I got compliments on how good my skin was looking the first time I wore it, too!

I’ve got combination skin that just refuses to work with most foundations but this is one I’ve actually been excited about because a lot of people have said there’s almost no cling to dry skin and almost no separation for oily with powder and I just thought it sounded like to much of a dream to be true. Can’t wait to try now! Thank you for such an amazing, honest and in depth review as always, especially in different lighting settings! 💅🏽💖💖💖
I bought it awhile ago and have used it every day since and I absolutely love it. I bought a shade that will be a little too dark for winter, so during the Sephora sale, I got a lighter shade. It’s amazing! I hope you love it too!
Interesting 🤔. Este Lauder Double Wear??? It doesn’t work for you?? It has been a holy grail for most oily combination skin. It has been my ride or due never fail foundation. I Will think about trying this one. I just as Luv Robert!!!👏😊
The revlon candid (NOT candid glow!) does exactly what you’ve described this foundation as. I’m combo/very oily on my forehead/around my cheeks by my nose. I love it. Now this foundation has peaked my interest haha.

@@alldiva7507 I did love that foundation but only for a few hours sadly! It didn’t seem to wear well in different weather for me and I kept catching bits coming away from my skin or collecting around my nose though luckily is a favourite of my friends and she’s not too different in tone to me so luckily she was able to lighten it and use the rest! Hoping this one does exactly that but lasts a lot longer! Though thank you for the suggestion it’s highly appreciated! 🥰
i was at a week-long work conference recently and this was the only foundation i brought with me. it was amazing!!! it lasted all day (and i had some loooong days), and even when i was relaxing in bed before washing my face, it did not transfer at all onto my pillow or sweatshirt. i’m so impressed with this, and it will definitely be my new disney parks foundation 💜
So it would work in humid weather like Hawaii?
@@angelmorningstarr9504 i think so! my conference was in vegas which is super dry, but i do still think it would last in humidity, it’s just that good
I put it on my hand and forgot, got into bed with white sheets no transfer. When it dries it sticks.

I love how you consistently use a realistic amount of product and make it a point to show what a product can do without caking it on!
I adore this foundation. It looks great and match is perfect. I had to think on shade but it’s amazing. I have oily skin and my friend has dry skin and we both love it.
It’s seems to be universally loved by a lot of people!

Foundation, particularly shade matching, has always been a nightmare for me. The fairest shades are always so light, they make me look sick, while the next step up is either a bit too dark or just the wrong undertone altogether. Even after experimenting with mixing pigment, I never thought I’d find my perfect, “My skin in a bottle,” foundation. I finally tried Haus Labs after watching this video and a lot of nervous research. This is it. This is my foundation. It is the closest match I’ve ever had and looks just beautiful on my skin. Their shade matching tool online is absolute witchcraft. I hope this one is here to stay because I NEED it.
I’m super pale and have literally been told they don’t have anything light enough in store and to buy the pure white mix in by an ulta worker. I went to a local Sephora just to see the shade range for the foundation and was amazed. I am actually a shade before the lightest one and when a worker swatched it on my face I almost asked her where she put it it matched so well! I’m currently waiting for my shade to come back in stock 😭
This foundation is glorious for me. Gives me a nice finish without looking like I am wearing a lot of makeup. I also really love Haus Labs powder with it.

You are so right- we don't need very much to apply. I got this and was so upset with it. I felt so cakey and heavy looking upon first application. It's because I used way too much to start with. But I came across this video and heard you talking about the amount for application and tried it again. It's much nicer now for sure. Very comfortable. I don't feel so bad spending so much on it now. Yes! I've been looking for a perfect shade match in foundation my entire life. This is literally the first time a shade has matched. Shade 030 is SO good for fair olives
The shade names are so backwards. 050 is supposed to be warm and 040 neutral. They looked identical on my skin. 🤔

This is one of the best foundations I've ever used. The coverage is fantastic and the shade range is what a brand should offer.

I’ve only ever tried a gloss from one of Haus Labs original collections and it was only OK,very sticky. The relaunch seems to be going better, the foundation looks really good ❤

I love this foundation!! Just purchased it after hearing all the hype because I have normal to dry skin and foundation tends to separate or stick to dry patches on my skin. But this one sits so beautifully on the skin. It is very dewy on me but that can be set with powder. It lasts really well on me too and I thought the color wheel for undertones on the website made so much more sense than any other foundation I’ve used. I could never find a foundation match until this. I usually apply foundation with a sponge but it looks amazing with a brush as well.
This is the best foundation find in many years for me. Legit Holy Grail.
I have normal, oily Tzone mature skin and this doesn’t separate, transfer and last ALL day.

I was kinda shocked when I said 4 hours and that amount of shine… BUT then u said no primer… and I was actually impressed at how well it lasted.

I love the foundation and the setting powder it lasts so long on me doesn’t get cakey or crease it doesn’t settle into my fine lines and wrinkles I love it and I’ve been using it for 2 months now pretty much everyday

My favorite so far is their Fire Opal Highlighter. The Liquid Lipstick is amazing as well!
I'm so glad I tested my shade at Sephora. When they did the skin pic tech it gave me a medium neutral which is completely off. I appear more tan because I have a lot of redness but with skin swatches I was surprised by my result. The shade matches perfectly. Note the shade changes within seconds of blending on the skin so you may have a different shade than what you'd expect.

Love foundation wear reviews, im a greasy face especially in the summer months, but I don't mind, hate when my face feels dry and cracking 😅 also love when its dark early. I can stay in the house in the couch binge watching Netflix with a glass of wine☺ and not feel guilty! 💜

Your review was super helpful! I went to try it on myself and ended up buying it 😊. A Sephora employee matched the foundation to my skin, and I noticed that the bit of product she applied on my face did not budge after many hours of wear and the coverage was really good! You did convince me also though because I love the way it looks on your skin and we have the same skin type! I think I might lightly powder my oily zones (forehead, nose, chin) when I wear it, but it honestly looks great on you even if you didn't set your face with powder!
