I love this. For those who don’t know, Sidious basically designed the empire so that it couldn’t function without him. Everything ran through him. Plagueis is basically warning him about that here, that it’s only a matter of time before it will collapse. I love him chastising sidious about anakin too. Some sith hated fallen jedi, they didn’t deem them true Sith Lords. They thought only those that were sith from the beginning were true sith.
God....I love this also. Even Plageuis basically telling his former apprentice that he is on borrowed time also and he chastises him on anakin also. Also beautiful line from Plageuis "A Throne Carved from of the corpses of pawns"
Dude......these videos are better than Tales of the Jedi or whatever else they try to come up with. And it's true that Sidious would actually go to Korriban in Legends, to consult all the ancient lords of the Sith. But I like how you changed it so that he's so powerful that he can actually summon up Sith spirits like that with his will alone. I also like how you started this video with it being so eerily quiet outside of the his castle in Coruscant. As if the forces of nature itself are afraid of not only the dark side, but if the manifestation of Darth Plageuis himself! Plageuis who had once bent nature to his own whims to create mutant creatures. That just adds to this. And also how he mocks Palpatine intellectually speaking. Edit : "Spoken like a snake slithering through the Sith Code," Damn
- I wanted to make you more than a traitor, more than a coward, my apprentice Sidious. - Plagueis said. - Shut up, both of you! - Venomis said. - Sadists! The old necrophile, and his apprentice, the red-haired beast, Mr. Senate, Darth Senatus, damn it.
Plagus once said an apprentice does not need to be stronger, merely more clever and that's exactly what sidious did he was clever and he killed his master
The only issue I have with this is Sidious calling Plagueis - "old master", when in the novel he says: "Teacher? Yes, and for that I will be forever grateful, but master? Never." When he killed Plagueis.
Palpatine killing Plagueis was the biggest failure he ever made Plagueis was on the verge of discovering true immortality not crappy essence transfer Palpatine should have waited a few more years and let Plagueis teach him that trick thats the main goal of the sith but sidious was too impatient and that knowledge died with Plagueis Palpatine never figured it out and had to keep jumping into new bodies this with failure to train a decent apprentice meant the sith were always doomed to fail on his watch.
I’m not sure he would’ve discovered it. I think that George Lucas wanted it so that the dark side didn’t offer it. That’s the whole irony of all of it. The dark side can grant a sith unimaginable power, but they’ll never be able to find immortality, only the light side offers it. As sidious said, he could save others, but not himself
In short, he was fixated on cheating death. To the point of also being responsible for the Rules of the Sith starting to fade. It was his intention that Palpatine would be the face of the empire and the new order and he would continue to exist, do what he wanted in pursuit of mastering death. As fun as this video is, it fails to actually represent Plagues. He was the one that set Palpatine up to enter the Senate. Half if not more of the whole scheme against the Jedi was his idea. He was the one that orchestrated the plot with Naboo to instigate a state of emergency to force an election and get Palpatine in office. Plagues does not die until a day or so after Palpatine is elected. Then Palpatine kills him in his sleep. Near about the end of The Phantom Menace. Plagues is not often credited for how much work he put into the master plan. Much of it was also backed by his own direct funding to allow the Trade Federation to begin mass militarization. The fault with Plagues is that he trusted Palpatine TOO much. Literally. If I recall right, is hardly held anything back from him. He served up everything he had on a silver platter and basically held a sign up saying "kill me at your next best chance". And Palpatine took it. Again, if I recall right, Plagues was of the impression that after their coup and the fall of the republic, the Rule of Two would end. This is also why there was a more frequent attempt to obtain more acolytes and apprentices.
I sense a theme whenever you have Palpatine talking to other Sith they scold him but are in their own way trying to alert him to the Empire’s eventual fall Yet prideful as ever the Emperor all fires back justifications and does not listen to the advise of his elders
What makes this an excellent case study is in how Plagus sees the faults sidious either fails to see, denies, or thinks himself beyond reproach and reach of all concequences, never seeing that now that he is in the center of everything, he must then struggle not to be burried under the very empire he has formed and it was always precarious and fragile. The weight of it all, the resistance of the force, the people and the very system of incompitence of his underlings will crumble the foundations and he will fall. If one seeks unlimited power, one must understand their own limits or be destroyed by the very thing they covet.
If Disney SW had given us character encounters & most of all dialogue such as the ones you give us then the whole SW community & the franchise itself had been in a far better place!
Plagueis shouldn’t have pointy nose & and another thing his head should be double a normal size of a human (because he is an alien 👽). But beside that, excellent video. I do love that Plagueis talks down to his apprentice.
I wanted Star Wars to die. I needed it to die after Disney. But this? Palpatine even resembles his og Empire Strikes Back hologram. I haven’t cared about Star Wars for years, because I felt betrayed by Disney. But this, this feels like real Star Wars again.
I See a Skywalker Stories vid I like and comment it's that simple. Love your content bro, keep doing what you do you're in a great groove! And don't think I've given up my prayers for either an Anakin Solo x Luke Skywalker conversation about happiness and innocence and the Force and all that or an Aayla Secura x Shaak-Ti video about being hot Alien Babes in the Force 🤑🤑🤑either or man no big deal 👍🤣 EDIT: or actually to be more serious seeing Jedi like Aayla or Shaak-Ti or Plo-Koon having a conversation with their clone commanders about Jedi stuff or Force stuff could be dope idk I trust your judgement here 🤝
I really enjoy watching these mini episodes. It is great to see how the true Sith chastise Sidious for being a coward and rebuking him. The Sith were supposed to be victorious through strength, not manipulation.
Wow, the voice are better, yes it's a.i. but who's not producing star wars of this quality..........Disney star wars . Wow, so it's the fans who will keep alive? The fans keep everything alive.
Plagueis is one to talk when he too killed his master, Darth Tenebrous, through treachery. He and his master and no doubt other Sith Lords before them use their wealth, public influence, political manipulation, and secret schemes to get to where Palpatine is if they had the chance. Plagueis himself experiment with the Force through scientific means and he too believe the Force is a tool, a means to an end. Now I think about it, Palpatine wouldn’t be where he is without Plagueis or past Sith Lords. Palpatine was lucky. a Force-Sensitive born to a wealthy and politically-influential family on Naboo, and was already a psycho as young boy. And Plagueis too was lucky to found him when the Jedi did not. It’s all luck. But of course, you’ll tell me it’s fate through the Force.
A Combination of tools with AI> You need at least two image frames, one of each character. They have to be separated for now. Then write the dialogue. Get a Voice Over for the Dialogue - either generated from scratch with AI like Eleven Labs or you can record the lines yourself and use AI to alter your voice. Bring the images and the VO into a video editor. There are a few simple and free ones. Line up the shots and dialogue. Export to video Then bring that video into an AI tool (I forgot the name) but it will animate the faces and expressions to match your audio. IN short. If you want something more clean and polished like this, it will take some practice still. But you don't need to sit people down on a set and record live or go through intense animation to get these results.
Can you please do a video of Plagueis meeting Darth Caedus. That would be an epic video seeing those two interact, especially as I think Caedus might even agree with him.
As Is odd this may sound I'd like to see jade and anakins ghost to interact and maybe talk about what the darkside can do to someone or maybe just have jade and palpatine talk either way nice vid:)
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I am confident this paint Plagues in a false light. If memory serves me right, a lot of the master plan was started by him. The Crisis on Naboo. The Intent to get Palpatine in Office. The Clone Wars. The mass militarization of the Trade Federation later becoming the CIS. The Clones. All of it. Palpatine ultimately took it all over and claimed the victory for himself, but I am fairly confident that he just adopted and continued to expand on the original intentions of Plagues. Plagues mocking him here is almost like calling the kettle black. He is mocking Palpatine for the very scheme he began. Sounds more like he is just buthurt it was not him sitting in Palpatines place than criticism of his actions.
Like how plagueis is right about one thing his empire won’t last forever, especially Anakin won’t stay by his side for long after he betrayed him.
No empire lasts forever though, a demise of an empire in inevitable etc
@@94462duh you must be a genius 😂.
@@94462Eternal empires do last forever

A throne carved by the corpses of pawns ,,, sidious legacy summed up right there
I don't see it, where is it? Did you mean that to describe Sidious?
This is so well done. It feels like a snippet of an epilogue form the Darth Plagueis novel. I wish we got more stuff like this in canon.
Man, Sidious here actually sounds like Ian McDiarmid. That's spooky
actually ya is that AI or what the hell ? because if it is VO'd, Disney should hire him as a backup.
@@DarthKorrinAI
Plagueis sounds like Daniel Davis, as in the audiobook.

I love that Plagueis' voice is so close to the voice Daniel Davis uses for him in the Darth Plagueis audiobook.
Even though Plagueis is my boy, I appreciate that Sidious doesn’t back down.
Sidious is a narcissist who thinks he is always right and never wrong. And as Luke once said "Your over confidence is your weakness"
I just don't understand how a UA-cam video can be better than the entirety of the sequel trilogy
God....I love this also. Even Plageuis basically telling his former apprentice that he is on borrowed time also and he chastises him on anakin also. Also beautiful line from Plageuis
"A Throne Carved from of the corpses of pawns"
“Even the greatest architects are prisoners of their own design” like damn Pleagus wasn’t holding back on them verbal bombs
I'd love to see Dooku, Jorus C'Baoth, and a younger Baylon Skoll discuss the then-current state of the Jedi.
I dont know who's making these videos but Bravo. They clearly have a deeper understanding of Star Wars lore and their characters than Disney ever has.
A few seconds in and I got chills
In Legends Darth Plagueis is a Muun. This Plagueis is NOT a Muun. (Good video non the less 👌)
Plagueis did not have a nose. Did you forget that he was a Muun? Perfectly and truly canon.
If you can ignore the nose 👃 or pretend it’s not there it looks better or like a Muun!

It's considered Legends, but I would still recommend the DARTH PLAGUEIS book. Especially the audio book.

Maybe Sidious called Plagueis Master as a form of mockery. It wouldn't be out of character for him either.

Yes this is nice. However I think Plagueis should look the way he is supposed to be. He is a Munn. Not a human.
