Great video!!! I originally ordered a Maytag with no agitator but after doing research and watching this video I went back to the store and exchanged the order for the 4.1 LG with an agitator, saved $250 and am getting something that will work better for me. Thank you
People complain about Speed Queen's capacity of 3.2. What they don't realize is how that capacity is used. Most of the other washers don't fill up to the top with water like SQ, so they never utilize all that capacity. I have owned my SQ for 3 years and have not run into any capacity issues. There is another advantage that SQ has over the other washers is they have the shortest time to do the load. That is why they have "Speed" in their name.
I bought that same Hotpoint because it was dirt cheap. I didn't expect it to last long. But it has been a real workhorse with stable spin cycles that don't jump around like a frog.
In December 2016 I purchased a Maytag Centennial Series washer and dryer pair from Home Depot. Their delivery crew was called Kid Glove Delivery here on the north side of Indianapolis on Shadeland Avenue. They were excellent and took a careful approach and double checked every connection of the new hoses that you are forced to buy, along with the new AC cord for the electric dryer you also are required to buy. In this particular case they were contracted installers for Home Depot but were very good at what they were doing. Should I replace my 2009 Kenmore refrigerator anytime soon by something at Home Depot I would not hesitate to use them again if they still contract with this particular delivery service. Best Buy on the other hand took about a month to get an entire kitchen Suite of appliances delivered to friends of mine 17 years ago. They went through hell trying to get their stuff installed, and when they finally showed up they forgot the $30 AC cord you have to buy for a new electric range. And they waited another 4 days for these bozos to show up. And they didn't get entry level stuff either, they got the higher end KitchenAid Superba line.
I’m in agreement, we got a new dishwasher and they didn’t level it correctly and it slides back and forth. I feel like it’s going to have issues with the door in the future. I guess I’ll have to pay someone else to come in fix it.
I spoke with two people with Samsung appliance, It’s true, washer and refrigerator are less than a year old in two different house holds, and they already serviced it 2 times under warranty. What a clown company
He didnt recomend it he recomended if your in a pinch all these machines are garbage. From my research im guessing you never balanced the clothes when you put on spin right? That is common reason this plastic washers break or get damaged another reason is overload the machine i guess we expect to much from these machines or company for the money i did same somewhat i thought they were higher quality mean plastic transmissions?

One of these days, my 25 year old Kenmore will bite the dust. We raised 3 kids with that thing. Lots of hours. Whenever it goes, Speed Queen without the electronics. Most appliances now are junk.

I have the GE 335 that exact machine, the problem is even when you set the water level to high it only fills up a quarter of the way. It's also a little bit of a pain in the butt to turn on, seems like it has a mind of its own sometimes.

Some or maybe all cheap GE and maybe Hotpoint washers are made in Mexico by Mabe who sells the exact same washers in Latin America for the same price around 500 dollars under the Mabe brand or under the GE brand but with a different model number

Thank you ! My sisters front loader has a very prolonged and imbalanced load sensor issue,even with small loads , it has controls for blankets and heavy to delicate loads of any kind! It seems to counteract the balancer’s sensor with the motherboard!

I'm surprised you recommended the Hotpoint washer since it's a cheapo unit. We've had ours over a year now with no big complaints. It runs the agitator very slowly compared to the last washer we had (also Hotpoint) and it sounds strange, like it's dying, but I guess that's just the way they are. The one thing that bothers me is that sometimes it seems to stay in the spin cycle FOREVER. I timed it at 30 minutes one time, but other times it's half that.
Did you read manual? Not sure if this is your problem but i heard some washer have sensors compared to old ones that prevent or slow the spin if its unbalanced meaning spread out the clothes evenly manualy apparantly thats what kills and wheres out these cheap machines faster or breaks them when overloaded. Seems alot never read manuals and precaution or only used used machines and didnt know they had limits like over loading as i did to some extent on my case mostly was the unbalance spin can severly damage washer machines and dryers.
The washer spins longer when overloaded or unbalanced. I have the same washer I hold the start button for 3 seconds and cancel it after it spins for a few minutes so I don’t have to wait lol
Bought by Whirlpool. All brands other than Speed Queen are combined into three companies. None are expected to last over 5 years. These companies are now making equipment to keep you needing to be a new buyer far more often.
I recently got the last whirlpool you showed with the impeller two weeks ago. I highly do not recommend. Nothing like our old top load impeller whirlpool. I will definitely be going to Home Depot this weekend to look at some of the other options that you showed.

Yea seems all these new washer wash the same its hybrid fame agitators they dont fully agitate clothes all they do is move some clothes back and forth while others dont get agitated at all its cost saving from what i see they just add an agitator to the same none agitator machine same one its a scam overall

My reaserch shows that all these machines are garbage and over all bad investment compared to speed queen as he says he gives his opinion on which to buy if youre in a pinch and i agree with him give or take.

Reason its not real agitator it stays still and moves with the bottom plate like none agitator machines and agitator is supposed to move on itself all the way around like older machines which fully moves all the clothes around. The other machine have agitator that moves but are like more of a hybrid as they dont move all the way around they just move back and forth and hardly moves all the clothes around agitated better but not real agitator i heard speed squeen tc5 has the real agitator fully goes around and agitates the clothes so if you need like the guy says pick one with the moving agitator seems he didnt mention they dont fully agitate and are hybrid/fake agitator but are best compared to rest.

Exactly. I learned my lesson with the crappy Whirlpool brands and any of that Korean garbage long ago. Speed Queen is worth the money.

a family member both bosch frontloader 600 $ in europe in usa it costs $1600 $300 will buy you a front loader and they last over 10 years
