It's turning out wonderfully. How nice it is to see your ideas become realized. Also, I can see how much thought and work has gone into every detail.

Wow it’s beautiful, everything radiates nature, peace, tranquility. Very relaxing color choices. I also like how you have utilized the entire space. In USA 🇺🇸 houses are big but don’t make good use of all the space.I Can’t wait to see finished product.

Aloha! Me and my husband will honeymoon in Portugal (Lisbon/Madeira). This is my ancestors motherland. What types of hats do Portuguese women wear to keep cool? Don’t want to stick out like a tourist too much.

I noticed you are putting in heated floors. Which system are you using?

We are using electric heated floors 😊 electric rolls on the 2nd and loft floor, and electric tubes in the first floor and bathrooms.

Hi! I love how it is all looking so far! My gf and I have a dream of building our own house one day and I was wondering if you could maybe make a video or maybe answer a couple of questions I have regarding the financial aspect (without getting into your financial specifics). How much does a project like this cost, and what are some of the big costs across the entire process that you faced? Did you have a set plan in terms of how much you wanted to save up by the time you started etc and if so, I wonder how long it took? My gf and I are still quite young so I think it would be great if we managed to get an idea of the costs from someone who is going through it! Great video as always!!

Check video #7, where this is discussed. You can count on about 5 thousand euros for each square meter. so... a 100 sq.m. home (1076.39 sq.ft.) would cost you about $5 milllion Norwegian crowns... or $500.000. It's not cheap. But the worst is all the time it takes from you want to start, to you actually are allowerd to start. It's dishartening to see, that it takes such a crazy long time. And all the regulations are there to take your hard earned money.
What I would like to know is, how two students did in fact manage to get a plot, which they said was expensive! Only this is a mistery to me, and I live in Norway!. Then... It's great they got the loan, as they both were architects... but what it they got the approval to start building while they were studying?... they wouldn't have got the loan as students... what would have happened then?
