- We are building our own house in Norway!
In 2018 we bought a plot in Oslo and we are now building our house. Since we are both architects we have designed everything ourselves.

- Roof: Plannjatak - TREND 475, PL 45 SOLVE METALLIC

What do you mean there is nothing black on the house of two architects? 😁 I really like the wooden facade. The wood is really beautiful. Maybe it will be interesting to share some technical aspects of the house, of the building solutions that are typical for Norway.

How much insulation is in the outer walls?
How much in the roof?
Do you have insulation in the inner walls?
Thanks! There is circa 30cm isolation on outer walls, and also 30cm isolation on the roof (if I am not mistaken). We also have isolation on the interior walls yes! That is mainly so we do t hear each other from room to room 😌
I love the colours, and even if the wood becomes more grey, it will look nice with the bricks.
