thanks for sharing raw experience, ı guess people forget that it's a prototype of state of art or even ''came from future'' device. as a game developer this is the thing I always dreamed of. we are literally living a sci fi world and people dont even realize it. and the best part is just by watching meta researchers public speeches at universities made me guess that would be the device they showed to public. I love how open they got over time.
This is an amazing piece of tech. It's a shame that the only way to experience it is wearing them. Certainly it's a bit frustrating as a watcher that we're only seeing you wearing regular looking sunglasses and we can't see what you see.
That's a much better video than the one on X 😀 It blows my mind that Meta has been able to reach this level in such a short time. I would not have expected this for several more years and can only imagine what it will be like when it actually makes it to a consumer device level. I do wish they could have/would have let you create an image of your own choosing, but that is what demos are all about.

Depends on your budget. I'm likely going to preorder the gen one premium pair, even if it costs me $2000 in 5 years.
According to The Verge, they're targeting 3 years and the price of a phone or laptop
