And these were my level 37 38 pokemon from the medium fast group after grinding for HOURS and of course defeating every trainer (they were like lvl 25s though) Don't even get me started on those on my team who were exeggcute and pinsir from the slow level up group that barely reached lvl 35 with much pain and suffering

Silver is somewhat your friend/rival he learns to grow and care for his Pokemon and he still battles you to make sure you're still on the top of your game and haven't gotten worse

If it was a 6 vs 6 fair team battle, Billy and silver would have lost. Billy's 6 Pokemon and silver's 6 Pokemon equals 12 Pokemons vs the champions 3 and Clair's 3 is an unfair advantage even though the champion almost won.

What I don’t get is that you need to do this to unlock rematches with your rival at the Pokémon League as well as the rematches with Clair. Yet Lance’s strongest Pokémon in this fight is level 75 while your rival’s starter is only level 60
Damn, I've actually never got this far. I always get through the first few Kanto gyms and restart the game, but I just got all eight Johto badges, so I'm totally going to finish the game this time. I'm obviously missing out on a lot of cool content.

You would only get Sableye after you beat the Indigo Plateau. Sableye is a Generation 3 pokemon that's not in the evolution of the Generation 1 and 2 pokemons.

I actually beat red in Pokemon crystal with three pokemon, level 64 Umbreon, level 60 Feraligator, and level 60 Noctowl. One of the longest battles ever.
No full restores. My umbreon was a tank. I also had moonlight. I remember I did use about 10 revives and 10 mega potions. I think my noctowl had flash. Also I forgot to mention I has a shackle. It knew harden. Swagger. Wrap and I think toxic not for sure though.
@@martinamaggio6976 shackle helped a lot to. Using swagger increases attack but shackle has high def. I'd use noctowl first to lower accuracy. Then have shackle use toxic and wrap.
I remember when I did this, I had a Pokémon with Water Absorb. When it was low, Silver called a Water move and my Pokémon was healed. AI be smart sometimes.

If you beat Red, Oak gives you a gen 1 starter and Steven gives you a gen 3 starter as well.

He has a very Good team. In Heartgold a Soulsilver you can not evolve to sneasel and magneton because the game is based on the second generation.
