PSA: The Melee Pit also gives you the Nora Anointed (starting armor) so if you have sold it and want it back...there is way:
1. Requirements: 1 Circulator of one of these: Shell-Walker, Sunwing, Widemaw (cheapest and best i think). Also an Armor which allows Trap Limit Rank 4, Skilled Salvager (sadly only Rank 2) and Elite Traps (don´t know if possible with lesser, they are for shards)
2. Problem: You can´t sell the outfited Armor, because you are weaing it, and the inventory is empty during the challegen (except the training bow and the outfit). Also, no shards! So you need to buy and equip a new armor, which cost 399 shards + the Circulator + the buyback cost of the circulator.
3. Equip everything, eat, and go to outfit vendor (i did bulwark), sell your Circulator, so you can buy back during the melee pit
4. Place Elite Traps near vendor, the run and start melee pit practice. Because the traps disappear after a while.
5. Start and Escape the Melee Pit Practice
6. Run to the vendor, dismantle "1" ONE Trap. Because pouches are resetted to default, you loose material and won´t have enough shards.
7. Sell the stuff from dismantling (Blastpaste and Volatile Sludge) to the vendor.
8. Repeat the dismantle 1, sell cycle till you can buyback the circulator and the afford the the new armor.
9. IMPORTANT: Choose " Buy and Equip", so you automatically equip it.
10. SELL the Nora Annointed Outfit.
11. Go back into the pit, and end practice session.
12. Go to outfit vendor and buyback the Nora Anointed Outfit.
It´s yours again, voila!

Great tip, but I tried it like few minutes ago in Chainscrape and that is soooooo much easier and cheaper, that is not even funny.:D One Burrower Circulator and 85 shards for Oseram Explorer (if you have it already, just sell it and you can buy it again). I tried one Advanced Vertical Shock Trap and sold the Training Bow and that was it.:) :D But the biggest thank you because I looked for solution to have that crap back for so long that is not even funny too.:D
@@urbicz707 Glad i could inspire and help you. Some might sell the traning bow also, i don´t know if you can go back into the pit without it, but you can at the bullwark. But making it cheaper does make it a lot easier! Now i have to find a way to get the damn green frost blastsling back...
@@paristeta5483 That blastsling is probably really gone, and I'm not sure if you would keep it when starting NG+ with tutorial. Nora Anointed disappears after intro for sure, but weapons I can't remember.

@@ArktixOfficial same method works on ps5 (easy) by holding down the aim trigger the whole time, it’s definitely slower but no remap and good for those with timing issues. I posted it on another channel’s comment section but always good sharing if it helps anyone in the community!

Would this method allow you to cheese the melee pit by selling a good weapon and buying it back and then jumping back into the melee pit?

Thank you for this tip! Works like a charm on PS4. I had to rebind the jump button to O though, as you outlined in your other video on the topic. It allowed me leave the arena on my first try. It also helps on some quests to bypass some objectives. I wonder if you can sequence break the game and get past Barren Light and the mountain base without doing the main quest...
The main advantage for me is that it reduces the need for farming a lot (an aspect which I usually do NOT like in games).

omfg to finally get this to work, i had to install the ps4 version of the game as well, i still loaded up p5 and never touched p4, but for some reason now it works, it didnt before, no method, now every method works

There is a glitch in the Apex Predators challenge which allows you to get the Wings Of The Ten Blast sling without collecting the drop boxes. You do the same Infinite Jump glitch to get onto the upper arena. Now turn to the left as if you were going to escape through the first way. And on the far right, there is a little hole which allows you to get into the place next to the arena, Idk its name. and then after that, you run outside into the arena and you speak to the trader, you then trade the Wings of the Ten and any other weapon (and even the 2 secret coils) and then you abandon challenge and then you can buy them back!
With this I got the Wings of the Ten without collecting the black boxes and an updated version of the Death Seeker Bow.
Yes good point! I probably should have mentioned that. There are a few really good weapons you can grab from the locked loadout challenges!

I know this is a game-breaking exploit and all... but honestly this is so fun and hilarious. I was genuinely cackling last night while infinite hopping out of the arena.
PS Arktix, I figured out an easy method for those of us without the Sunwing!!
1. Before initiating the arena battle, open the map and mark the Lowlands Path campfire as a waypoint.
2. Then, initiate the arena battle and hippity hoppity over the invisible walls as shown in your last video.
3. Sprint directly towards the waypoint until you come to a cliff overlooking 2 Bellowbacks (note: they weren't there one time when I did this, but were present all other times), then head to the right so you can glide towards the small river and avoid their notice. The arena battle will fail and you will not be teleported.
4. Two methods here: A) sprint directly towards the waypoint and infinite jump up the mountain/cliffside, or B) call a Charger and just follow the road to the left and then up the hill. Either method is fast, though the infinity jump method is more amusing. (Mountain Goat Aloy FTW)
5. Deposit items to stash as shown in your last video, then call a Charger and follow the road leading down the mountain until you come to a fork in the road. Veer sharply to the left and you'll be right at the entrance of the Arena, and can follow the other steps as previously shown in your vid.

Good looking out with the tips for people without the Sunwing! I'll add one too that's working well for me because I got hopelessly lost the first couple of times and it was really frustrating - if you put your waypoint at Sky's Sentry (north and slightly west of the arena), all you have to do is leave the arena as shown in the first exploit video, so you land in the lake behind the arena. Then just go straight ahead directly to the waypoint, up and over the really tall mountain, and you'll be at Sky's Sentry - you come to it at a platform overlooking the drop of the mountain face. Remember that platform, and then go to your stash. When you leave your stash, find that platform again. Go look over the edge with the guy standing there, and then turn directly right. The ridge of the mountains will be along your right side, but you'll see a huge Horus arm curved in the sky in the distance. The arena is directly under that Horus arm, just head straight for it and you can't miss it!
I commented on your orig jump vid. It’s the same with PS5 just hold the aim button the whole time, no remap needed, and you don’t need to spam jump just do one at a time, it’s slow for me but works great!

Hey just saw your first exploit video, will the duplication glitch still work at training ground instead of arena since we don't have any weapons over there too?
Asking because that would make stash near and would save lot of time
I haven't tried it myself, but others have told me it doesn't work for duplicating items, just for getting the training bow. I think it's because it doesn't time out in the same way the Arena does. It's worth a shot though!
Heck yea thank you for this this video absolutely re-ignited my love for the game as I am trying to platinum the game (all trophies besides original story trophies) all on Ultra Hard and being able to have unlimited volatile sludge and machine muscle will make it much much less of a grind. I was getting stuck simply bcuz I couldn’t save up enough of those resources fast enough to be able to use them against ultra hard enemies.
Me too! I'm on very hard and, maybe I'm not that good at combat so I spend a lot and run out so often, I'm always broke. lol.
@@tomassoejakto just get the Nora thunder outfit or oseram artificer and upgrade them to max and you're all done (if you're having a hard time with looting, enable easy loot in settings and then you won't have to shoot the components)
You can only carry a max of 15 volatile sludge in your inventory. So after the exploit you can only double it and not multiply it exponentially. So it still takes a lot of time to acquire volatile sludge, even with the duplication glitch.
Plat this 3 weeks after launch. Mixed feelings if I personally want to do this exploit when the only thing I need are concentration coils (have 3) when you only get one in one full playthru.... last thing is very hard mode trophy
@@tomassoejakto consider booting up previous save if you're locked in ultra hard. In Vegas part north theres a shelter by a spikesnout and snake. Change to story with easy loot. Bonus progress to night time. Glide down to spikesnouts 3-4 spawn shock arrow and critical strike will make them easy work. On average I would get 9-16 sludge. Go west a little further west to csmpfire and fast travel to shelter and spikesnouts will respawn.... or go further west to snake and make easy work for more resources to sell.

@@ArktixOfficial for example which weave to be equipped to outfits as per their type (mixed gear/machine master/warrior/hunter/etc) which is unique and powerful. I know with the inbuilt skills, weave, food bonus, it can be made powerful which many would be unaware about I'm sure. For example, Tenakth Dragoon helps repairing our mounts for free; it's lasting override weave combined with a food called mountain cap can help override machines forever i think (I'm saying about the non mountable ones here). And a few months ago I've seen the resilient trapper skill getting utilised were people don't get damaged by their traps at all, not sure if this got nerfed because now i could get upto -85% trap damage reduction.

I'm not sure if you know this one or not, but if you hold the weapon wheel and hit O to roll/dodge, you can "infinite roll" up cliffs and invisible walls without having to remap your controls (on PS4) :)

I used the infinite jump to climb one of those huge red oaks and chilled at the top. I also jumped all the way to the spot where aloy descends in the begging of the game on that lift thing

I had fun using the infinite jump to exploit the relics ruins puzzles, you can bypass many steps by just jumping over many high walls.

@@ArktixOfficial one of them is super easily, the ball is visible on a high platform right after you enter the relic. Jump against the wall three time and grab it. Super satisfying, I don’t like these puzzles anyway

Ok New Challange: I will give $100 to the first player who beats the story on ultra hard using ONLY the training bow 🤪

Inventory limits might make that impossible. The player can only carry 50 training arrows at a time and each bundle of 15 additional arrows crafter requires ridgewood, of which only a max of 500 can be carried. That's a max of 7,550 arrows fired before running out of supplies, and if each arrow only does 1 damage that also the max HP of any enemy that can be killed.
It might be possible to complete most of the game by constantly picking up all the ridgewood in the environment, but boss encounters where the player is locked into an arena without any available ridgewood could become an insurmountable roadblock.

This sucks for me I can’t do any of these for another 2 weeks cos thats when I am buying this game (exams) but I definitely aim to do this when I get the game, thanks for the great content!
It may very likely be patched by then. If you want to perform this exploit at all, but can't play for another 2 weeks, your safest bet would be to get the game now, install and update to current patch, then disconnect your playstation from the internet to prevent further updates. That way you will still have this specific bug preserved and waiting for you after your exams.

I totally agree with Emeral. If you really want to do these exploits, get the game now, install, then disconnect your console from the internet until you’ve had your fun with the exploits. Very high chance they will be patched within 2 weeks. Good luck with your exams!

Works ps5 , use the ps4 method map buttons so circle is jump setting to slow
this Bookwise method is actually easier than the PS5 aim and jump method

Hey I tried to get the 25% coil from the dread wing arena challenge but after I sold it to the merchant and started a new challenge I didn’t get my normal gear back, can you show or tell me how to get it?
Ah ok. So you don't want to start a new challenge after that. You want to abandon the challenge from the menu right after selling the coil. I walk through it in the main exploit video. Hope that helps!

The whisper hunter bow wasn't in the chest and neither available from the merchants after completing the quest, it's really odd. Does anybody know what could be the reason behind that?

Trying quitting the game and the then loading up your save again. Sometimes the game needs to reset so it can change things like item availability. However, if your game is far behind on patches, like Wren said, then there’s a good chance that’s your problem too. I would definitely recommend getting on patch 1.18 now. If you don’t like updating your game 1.18 is the patch to get on and stay on.
In PS5 setting menu, i shut off automatic downloads / updates under the game setting (I know just the system update one wouldn’t effect)- but if shut off game updates, can they push through updates anyway?
I think they could if they really wanted to, but it’s been so long now since the exploit was discovered and publicized I think it’s pretty clear they’re not in a rush to fix it, so I doubt they’d force an update to patch it at this point. I’m sure it will be patched eventually, I guess it’s just not a big deal to them 🤷🏻♂️

I used to think this dupe explo8t would be SO slow,but i realize now: its exponential! Once you get 50k shards,next time you get 100k shards.then 200k. Then 400k. 800k! 1600k!
I honestly can't get this to work on ps5, I have it on performance mode, have arrows. Even in the same spot as you trying to jump.
Jump, L2 jump, L2 over and over. Nothing. Only ever does the first jump. Haven't even been able to fluke a 2nd jump.. seems so easy in your video but honestly not working with me. I'm also holding forward into the wall at all times.. Nothing. Any help? Anyone experiencing the same thing?
Hmm. The timing can be tricky. If you still can’t get it, I would say put your game on “favor resolution” mode and do the new PS4 Bookwise method I showed in this video instead. That should be easier.
Whisper Hunter Bow farming is not work for me. I try to buy it before getting it at cultist fortress but it's not available. After i get it from cultist. Sold it for 250 but have to buy it back with the exact same price. Version 1.18
Try it with new game with version 1.00 i get only 75 shard. I

Your stash is full or your inventory is full? It’s takes an aweful lot resources for your stash to be full. Like literally billions. Either way, that should have no affect on your ability to infinite jump.

binding jump to circle doesnt work at all or you cant infinite jump anywhere near the arena because ive used three methods and none of them work in near the arena but does everywhere else
Are you sure you're on version 1.18? Not sure why this would work for you everywhere except the Arena...
Whelp, I've probably exploited this to excess now. Like, seriously, I'm not sure why the inventory numbers go this high? 255, a single data bite, should have been enough leeway in the code for most items, especially coil/weaves, 10k is just overkill (enough to put identical coils in EVERY slot of every weapon more than 30 times over), especially when that's not even considering the stash yet.
Speaking of the stash, the fact it keeps counting past 65,635 means it's using more than a double bite. The next likely cap after that would be a quad bite allowing for a ludicrous over 4 billion of each item stored. This is all some pretty grossly inefficient waste of data storage.
Tangentially, in the process of all this I've discovered I'm missing the +15% Concentration Damage Coil, probably because I did that quest before it was patched to be unmissable. I really don't get why they made so many of the coils limited availability instead of just having everything in the random loot pool. Regular old farming could have been so much more viable if it weren't so needlessly restrictive.
Now I might need to rush an NG+ playthrough if I want to duplicate that coil, even though I had originally wanted to play any upcoming DLC on my base NG file.... that or just resign myself to only having sane numbers of that specific coil :-p
Glad to hear you made use of this! And yeah that pesky concentration coil is annoying isn't it? Virtually everyone missed it on their first few playthroughs. And I agree it's unfortunate they decided to make all/most of the good coils tied to completing quests. Being able to farm coils would have been much more fun, even if the drop chance was really low. Maybe they'll chance it in the future? Who knows...it would be nice though.
Additional tip on the Bookwise method: if you release the weapon wheel right after Aloy jumps and then hold again, you can ascend quicker.

Another way to make easy shards is by just hunting the animals and selling their bones and skins. Super easy and gives u plenty of shards too
Yes! Hunting animals is probably the fastest/easiest legit way to farm shards.

The money method did not work, you can sell all stuff sure but that amount of shards displayed won't be added to you! Tried couple of times, didn't work.

ok guys. I got lost in the wood for 3 hours. Now I know when you get lost in the woods, with no map or compass. I feel it now. You have to push through. Remember, be careful, mark your point. It is best you have the bird before you attempt. Don't ride the horse because no map then you are totally fucked. The cheats worked thank you so much.

Yup. If you're only patch 1.18, infinite jumping still works. And no, unfortunately, that coil is not farmable. I have a video on all the coil and weave locations.

Nah I don’t think so. Like Emeral said, it’s a single player game, not competitive. People have been finding exploits in Zero Dawn for years and I’ve never heard of anyone getting banned.
@@ArktixOfficial Bans are normally to prevent someone cheating other players. As long as this is only single-player, then its only "yourself you are cheating" (from some points of view). For me, I love these 2 games, so wont use this other than to try it out for fun. No plans to do anything much than play it as standard. But I used to glitch PSN Home so much: now that was fun, but it never came to PS4 and got turned off some years ago. Sad times!

I'm planning to do a video for legit shard farming methods! To give you a tip now though, I'd recommend hunting animals for skins and other items. They are easy and worth a good amount of shards.

Oh gotcha lol. I thought you were talking about something in the Arena exploit. Yes sometimes the machine loot gets stuck in a bad RNG I think. I’ve had it happen with Frostclaw circulators. Try forcing the game closed and restarting it. That’s worked for me.

With them already having to devote so much manpower to the new DLC coming out, they're not going to divert resources from something that's going to make the money to fix something that's not having an effect on the bottom line

Are you sure you're on patch 1.18? It won't work on any other patch. If you're trying to do the PS5 method you need to be on performance mode. If you're trying the PS4 method you need to be on resolution mode and weapon wheel slowdown has to be on slow or slower.

Ok. You can check the version by hovering over the game in the PS Home Screen and hitting your menu button. If you’re on 1.18 the glitch still works.
