I have this unconditional love and faith towards Regalla's bow, it was my go to since my first playthrough (because I made that one decision in the first playthough randomly honestly) up until I was able to get Iriv's. I really bonded with that bow so much that I kept it around for the strikethrough arrows even with Iriv's in the loadout and if I had to lock myself to purple gear, forever, Regalla's bow will always be with me no matter what, I love that thing (Edit: plus, let's be honest, it looks cool as hell haha)
I love it too. It definitely does look the coolest of all the Sharpshot bows (it might even be the coolest looking weapon in the game..). It’s funny how once you find that go-to weapon, it’s hard to replace it with anything else. Even if something has higher damage, it just doesn’t “feel” the same

Great :) I remember that in the hunting ground "Shock and Trap Trial" on ultra hard I struggled with shocking the machines near the traps, so after a while I used my tripcaster near traps and lore the machines with rocks, made it so easy!

Great guide! for me, delta became my favorite purple sharpshot cause it has a higher base draw speed and ammo variety. But i also kept my warden as a close second

I like sharpshot bows because of the high damage it does with frost. But there was a problem and that is what sharpshot bow should I purchase at different part of the game. But honestly this video figured out what to get. I remember buying hardweave sbow in Plainsong but then saw that there are other options for a good shbow so I started a new game. But honestly I agree with chaz for perks and coils. Nice video and KEEP IT UP 👍👍❤❤😊😊

I think cleaving sharpshot is better because at that stage it gives best tear

I would add 25% reload or draw speed on sharp shot bow especially the legendary since it makes the use much smoother

That's really good tear blast weapon but not impact damage.
It’s the only tear blast weapon as far as I’m aware.
i used it mostly for plasma.
You failed to see the unseen... The Delta Sharpshot Bow has a VERY potent hidden draw speed perk. It has a very fast draw speed compared to other Purple Sharpshot Bows, making it one of the best ones.
Perhaps it's a glitch, or a perk that they forgot to actually list? Either way, go ahead & test it for yourself. You'll be surprised how fast it is!
just finished the base game on pc. i realized this on my own then delta became my main weapon for most of the game. It felt faster so i actually tested it against my other bows and it was FAST. im starting the dlc now and trying to figure out if its worth upgrading from the Delta bow, but i cant find any info on another fast bow. Delta is just stupid fast, today i found this on the wiki: "It also has a hidden 70% improved draw speed, though at the cost of 15% reduced zoom."
so yeah. makes sense not even the legendary bows come close
@maloiik The Delta is indeed amazing and fast! I dunno if I'd go as far as to say that it's better than the Legendaries tho.
The increased base stats & extra damage potentIal from piling on various buffs via those 5 coil slots is still absolutely worth it, but the Delta does indeed have great utility even in the end game. Just gotta use the built in perks to their fullest.
It for sure deserves to be used alongside the Legendary sharpshot bows, specially if you didn't get Regalla's bow, which would make the Delta have the highest Strikethru arrows for your playthru. Only Regalla's bow has better ones.
Used to rely on sharpshots but it's too expensive in ultra hard. These days I just run with the best non-elemental weapons with the cheapest ammo materials possible. Fights are longer but more exciting. Plus, you're indirectly farming volatile sludge in the process.
The problem with Kue's Sharpshot Bow is by the time you can get it, you should be able to get Blue Sharpshot Bows not long after. It's honestly not worth investing in imo. It takes a while before you can get it, while the regular ol self titled Sharpshot Bow can be gotten super early, and is very cheap to upgrade. Even the Knockdown Sharpshot Bow which is nice, requires rare Leaplasher parts to upgrade, so youd have to wait til after you're out of the Daunt to use it fully.
I'd say to just go w the very first one you can buy in Chainscrape for that reason, then upgrade to a Blue one later. The "upgrades" from the other two green ones are not at all worth it.
This is the only game I ever play !! my favorite bowl is the (Death Seeker Shadow bow )
I like the Kue too, but it has the same problem(s) as the Strongbow / Whisper Hunter Bow....Those are green weapons on a blue world.
It also don´t help much, that you get a Blue Sharpshot Bow from a Mainquest, which does the Job and has Utility thank to Tearblast, so at Blue the only interessting one is the Piercing from the Hive, which you can actually get from sneaking in behind, and since Strikethrough Arrow Base Damage is higher then Precision Arrows, it does the most damage on Blue SSBows, and can ignore Armor on Humans (though no headshot multi vs Helmet).
I always tried to find love for the Warden....but it´s just a supbar Bow for SSBow useage. Still 5% Short for always criting with multiple Sets of Crit Coils, the Overdraw is only 15% if you want to go that route, and the Rest of the perks are for KD. I would not suggest it. Regalla is Purple Damage King, and Delta only 30 damapge per shot worse at average then Warden with Focus Shot Playstyle. If the Stealh Bonus is active though, it pulls far ahead. And on OD it already does. Plus it has it´s hidden Drawspeed Perk, higher Tear, meaning better chances to hit the Tear Limit at least the same time as the damage limit, for detaching instead of destroying a component.
My Winner is clearly the Delta, by FAR. But Regalla is pretty good to, but slower. Two things about Speed, Kue/Delta/Blacktide (BS-Preorder) have a hidden Drawspeed Perk (but less Zoom, but i find it hard to notice, at least on the delta/blacktide) and the Forgefall has just a big Perk, This makes them good general Purpose SSBows.
The Slow Ones though, benefit extremly from Focus Shot, because the Drawtime to reach full damage is way shorter then shooting normaly. The 30% Damage boost is usually better then the OD bonus you get, and with all bufffs, including weakspot etc considered, even when you use the OD potion or gets so close, it does not matter. Delta Crit with Stealth : Focus 1,4 x 1,3 x 2,5 vs OD 1,65 x 2,5 .
I like the Gravesinger much, but you can´t beat Crit Damage Perk on a Weapon of the highest Crit Damage Baseline, with the best scaling ammuniton, with even an extra Ammo with added damage if needed,...and the only Drawback is the Speed....which you can negate by using Focus Shot. Gravesinger, Sub-Uh i think you were able to buff it up, to reliable kill all Human Enemies (non Bosses) with the Strikethrough Arrow, but not on UH anymore.
Short note on the other WTs:
Braced Shot Damage is based on Rarity Alone, so all Blue do the same non crit damage for example. Crit Damage is also only 25% without Perks (btw same for Tearblast arrows). Braced Shot on legendaries is 300 (base damage) x 1,8333 (rarity here) = 549 /550 Damage. Can´t be used mounted, cost a lot of Stamina....away with it.
Double Notch, so every Arrow gets a penalty of 30%, so the total damage, if both hit, is x1,4 (2 Arrows for 0,7) Damage. Due the accuracy loss, more for something like Close Range, but even there you might want to take Focus Shot for the Slowdown to aim. Double Notch WORK with Overdraw though, and you love it so much, try it with potion! And for Valor Surge, Double Notch (and Hbow Triple) DO also get the Bonus for Weapon Techniques.
Tl,DR: Green, don´t bother, Blue: Free Cleaving or The Hive´s Piercing, Purple: Delta all the way, Regalla ok too. Legendary: Iriv´s or according to need. Use more Focus Shot, avoid Braced Shot.

Really interesting points about the draw speed perk. How do you find out about that? I know you can anecdotally tell when using them that some bows are slower than others, but is there an actual stat listed somewhere? I have the HFW guide and haven't seen it.

On this one, I agree to disagree - it’s the Gravesinger’s Lament (GSL) for me.
Someone else commented that ID has piercing arrows but that’s not tru, that’s a GSL trade and why I love it.
For me, IRIV’s has been my tear weapon of choice for the longest time, and it can be extremely good at that (simply the most powerful) but it is a bit slow. A suitably coiled TLG is much more nimble and very strong at tear as well…
My choices of bows as well. Gravesinger and Tears of the Land-god bow are my primaries.
