      Good call. 3 of the Greatest. Rainbow was turning out some excellent music at that time. Wondering JLT was singing for Rainbow in and around that time. I'm 99 percent all boy but Joe was the kind of good looking even a guy could see and what a voice. No Release

    80s concerts were the best! I was in the Marines, stationed just south of LA at a huge base that no longer exists (El Toro). We used to catch shows at the Irvine Amphitheater, which no longer exists, or the LA Sports Arena or over at something in Long Beach.We counted down New Years Eve 88 with Ozzy in Long Beach as he ran around with his daughter Kelly on his shoulders. She was like 3 years old! The shows at Irvine could be heard from the base! I was at an Irvine Ozzy concert with a buddy and told the kid next to me to share his spliff and he asked me if we were cops, due to our short hair. I said, "No. We're fucking Marines!" He flipped the fuck out. Said he couldn't wait to tell all his friends the next day that he smoked weed with two Marines at an Ozzy show! I got n nothing but awesome memories from that era!

    • @robertglass3944
      @robertglass3944 3 роки тому

      When you say "80's music rocks", there is no need to add, "and it still does". It's redundant, as the word "rocks" already indicates present tense.
      Now, if you had said "80's music rocked", using the past tense of rock, then you could add, "and still does", without sounding like you're staring in a Mike Judge film.

      Don't take it personally, even the smartest humans are idiots. We really don't know sh*t about our history and our world, and all of the planet's biggest problems have been created by the very smartest of us. But, for a while there we, as a people, were getting smarter. That is no longer true, thanks, in no small part, to people like you, who apparently support the dumbing down of the masses.
