It is so important to develop cleaning routines and keep them up, even if your house already looks clean. A mess can become overwhelming very quickly if not taken care of promptly.

So true! I just realized this lately! But I'm having the hardest time being consistent with an impulsive husband. He flies by the seat of his pants, and no day is ever the same 😫 Any advice welcome!

One person commented to my gypsy sister that its not called cleaning if you are cleaning somthing that is already clean....I promptly pointed out to her that gypsy girl is more proactive then reactive...she doesnt wait for it to get dirty, she keeps it clean always.

Exactly!! When I cringed after seeing that, I wondered if I was the only one😂. I either clean the bottom of the stools first or lay them in their side with the legs hanging off!

The way I stay on top of my cleaning is I have a schedule. Mon- Living room & dining room, Tues- bedrooms, Wed- bathrooms, Thurs-my office, Fri-living room & dining room, Sat- bedrooms, Sun- bathrooms. And every night I clean my kitchen. This keeps my house super clean & since I just have 1 area per night (plus the kitchen) it's really fast so I'm not spending all day cleaning.
Great idea especially for someone who was not raised by exceptionally clean parents, I honestly just don't know how to approach cleaning an entire home/sometimes it's overwhelming, thank you for sharing

@@kaitlinmoore1420 It does feel overwhelming. I was so tired of spending a whole day cleaning so half the time it wouldn't get done & my house would be dirty. Then I came up w/ this & it's been a life saver! Since I'm just doing the 1 area I even do extra things like dust my ceiling fan or dust pictures so it stays really clean.
@@MurdaMeg Glad you like it...its been a life saver for me! I could not stay on top of my cleaning before. I'd keep the house picked up but as far as dusting, moping, cleaning windows & stuff like that didn't get done half the time...this makes it where it all gets done.

I own my own cleaning company I manage 5 mansions in Ocean Reef Key Largo Florida mother of a 10 year old and 6 year old and married and let me tell you I work full time and my house is spotless I clean no matter what every day so I can relate to you !!

Some people don't keep their house clean. I'm like you keep it up and it's much easier and your home stays clean and smells good. Love watching you clean and I've got one of those scrub brushes and cleaning the sink has also become my favorite thing to do.
Also people just like being negative. If you watch some cleaning channels the house tore up from the floor up they said the house is nasty. I'm like her I tidy up every day but deep clean once a week it's just me and hubby. I really enjoy her channel.
I do certain things daily some things weekly and others monthly. I come from a a mother and grandmother who clean like nobody's business. I don't understand leaving things lay for days or weeks and it getting to the point that something is out of place that long. I like an organized and clean house anything else puts me in anxiety. Takes me about an hour each day some times two if I get in depth to clean my house. I'm also particular about my yard and porch. I have a huge garden. I've done both since I was little. It's just how I was raised. I love getting cleaning supplies my husband always laughs because I get so excited over new cleaning products or scrubbies that I immediately use them when I get home. I even watch the channels on here that squeeze sponges because it's soothing. Some people just aren't like that and we all are different. I love cleanliness. I love the smell of a clean home. Certain things like cleaning the bathroom that gets done every time I use it. My kitchen gets the sink cleaned and counters wiped down several times a day. To me those places need to be cleaned more often due to activity. Everyone is different though.
@Kate Hartfield I get it. I probably have undiagnosed OCD lol. My dad's home isn't the cleanest either but he has the tendency to spend hours cleaning one thing because it has to be perfect in turn that makes him not have time to clean it all. He rebuilt a motor for my brother it looked brand new when he got done because he cleaned it meticulously. He has the tendency to hoard. My mom and I go deep clean his house at least once a year because if not you wouldn't be able to walk in it. He gets mad because he feels like he can use everything even stuff that is obviously trash. He also has certain thing you cannot move. He gets mad if you move his cups or certain electronics. It's a job trying to clean and a lot of it has to be moved to building so he can keep it but just not in the house. It's hard for her and I who cannot stand the clutter. I also get his wanting to keep things and not move certain things. I come from two completely different parents. Even when they lived together my dads room was a mess and the rest of the house was spotless.
@Kate Hartfield my dad is with certain things such as laundry. He watches it wash and is very particular with each piece of clothing and how it's folded. If he cleans something he cleans it better than anyone. He was cleaning the living room for eight hours last time I went over. Washing the walls cleaning nooks and crannies with a tooth brush but he never got to the rest of the house because of it. His bathroom does stay pretty clean because he takes baths he cleans it pretty often and very meticulous. His room on the other hand has empty boxes lined up to the ceiling and dust an inch thick because in his word sometimes he needs a box and now he has them. It doesn't bother me that he is like that he has been my whole life. I can't say I understand it though. He keeps his dishes clean again something that takes him hours because his pans and pots ect. Have to look brand new even the bottoms. I throw mine in the dish washer something he could never do. I think he is so meticulous that he doesn't have time to do it all and then there is his need to keep things most of us would maybe have one or two of or buy only when needed like boxes lol.
I don’t like the excuse people have that have those really really messy homes. That isn’t healthy to let it pile up like that and in my opinion.. if they didn’t have such much clutter and shit the house wouldn’t get so bad lol. She can maintain her home because it’s not cluttered and full of things she doesn’t use. Brilliant really I love keeping up the house it’s so much easier!

I can relate to cleaning a "clean" home. I clean and tidy every day. It's either clean or dirty,no in between for me, I can't handle a total disaster. Too much anxiety for this momma. My kids are much older (14, 19, 21) but even when they were little, I kept a very clean home. Love your channel ❤
I started cleaning with bleach and am never going back! I also started doing my dishes how you suggest and actually love it! When you dilute the bleach it's not strong at all but it makes things feel and look Soo much cleaner 💛

Hello Kayla and family! I've been a follower since your early videos! Love how you keep a clean house and your daughter is precious! Mom of 4 here. Also I'm a hairdresser and I wanted to mention to you, that from a hairdresser perspective, I think Harmony has a bit of what is called "tension alopecia" or "traction alopecia" which is some hair loss around the hair line caused by a tight ponytail hairstyle, done often. Please do not take this comment the wrong way!! I only wanted to mention it because if it goes too long, the hair follicles can become damaged and stop producing hair.... to reverse it, the hair just needs to not be pulled back as often. Please don't take offense I just wanted to let you know. ❤❤ much love to you and your wonderful family

I went to Dollar Tree this morning. I bought Fabulouso, love my carpet, bleach, Pinalen, a bucket, and a spray bottle! Next trip to Walmart that little scrubber is on my list! My husband came home and was so happy with how clean the kitchen was!!!! 😂🤷🏻♀️

Love your channel, I clean my home the say way, when my husband was alive I made sure he came home to a clean house, we both work so I would take my meats out at night so when I come home it would be easy to cook, even through he is gone now i still do the same thing every day

Some of these other UA-camrs have such a mess I can’t help but wonder if they purposely let it get that bad just to clean for a video! Maintaining is key ! Sweeping the rug makes a lot of sense because it loosens the fibers and dirt in there. Its called agitating your carpet, and it makes vacuuming more effective.

I’m the same way with my dish. Let them soak wash then rinse. Love having a empty sink and clean dishes.
Love your diligence! Nice clean home 🏡. Just a tip: please rinse your meat when you take it out the package. It has been handled by others and cut with machines. Although they should be clean; you don’t know. Just be safe and rinse your food really well.💗
I guess people don’t understand the amount of work that goes into keeping a clean home. It only stays clean if you do a little every day. Why wait until the house is overflowing with mess and dirt? Girl let’s just keep cleaning how we usually do, a little every day then every 2-3 days deep clean 😬
And yes! Keeping the skin on the potatoes makes them taste so much more yummy!! I like it when they get a little crispy!! Try them next time with Tony Chachere’s seasoning! If you’ve never had it please do so. It’s a Cajun seasoning and is already salty! It’s so yummy! Walmart sells it 😉

I really wish I could work part-time so I would have the energy to do this everyday. By the time I get home my day is gone and I barely have the energy to cook and clean the dishes and then I deep clean my whole house on Sat which takes my whole day!

I just found your channel and love it! I know some people have executive dysfunction and depression and it's so easy for houses to get messy, but it's so much easier to maintain a clean home than have to clean from scratch every month. And I LOVE that you clean with bleach!! There is nothing better, IMO. I just know your house smells amazing. 💚
We have a bleach allergy in my house...I used Odo'Ban...I get it at home depot. It's the same cleaner they use in hospitals. Thanks to you I now have a clean house that I am proud of. Keep posting we love being a part of your family.

I also leave the skin on my potatoes. Especially reds and Yukon golds because the skin is so thin anyway. You wouldn't have any potato left if you tried to peel them.
People can’t actually see your house in a video and yes it does look spotless. You are the one that knows what needs to be done to keep it clean. I am just like you, I clean daily to “keep” to keep my house clean. I can’t understand how people clean once a week. That to me is just hard work. In addition to that, I feel like not cleaning daily causes things to get ruined by dirt, dust, grease, etc. when you let things go it is harder to get them clean than if you clean it every day. I clean everything. I mop twice-morning and before going to bed no shoes allowed in my house you can’t walk in the house with shoes. On Thursday I clean all my kitchen cabinets & on Saturday I clean all the house walls. I love a clean house that smells good 😊 You have a new subscriber💕

but from what I understand, in the Gypsy way of living it is a woman’s job to keep up the housework and the man work. So the fact that she keeps up on her cleaning is just her fulfilling her wifely duties. I wish I could keep my home like that! But it is amazing that she takes so much pride in her home to want to keep everything clean and taken care of. Props to you! I absolutely love your videos! For 15 years I have not got out of my nightgown till my house is 100 percent clean. Bc I am a very early riser my children rarely see me not “dressed” younger ladies please do not stay in a nightgown and hot rollers for hours. Dress up for your children. 🎀

My husband and I did a DIY coat rack old pieces of wood painted them white to look distressed and bought coat hooks from lowes it looks very rustic.

Hi! I lived in England when my dad was in the military so I actually know how to pronounce it! Worcestershire is "worse-stir-sheer"
"Woostershir" that's how we in UK pronounce the sauce.
I love that hairstyle you did for Harmony! That's how a lot of us women in the military do our hair when it's long and has to be in a bun. You can also use any socks that don't have matches to them too! I save any socks that have no matches and you just cut the toes off of them and then roll them up and use them the same way as you would one of the donut rounds. There are a lot of people who don't keep their house clean and I love cleaning it feels so good having a clean house. I love your kitchen its much more open now and the way you decorate I love it.
I leave the skins in my potato’s and add onions to just love the way the smell while they are baking yummy ♥️ Cleaning routines are a good habit to get into. I absolutely love your daughters hair she is absolutely precious ♥️

I also heard with a grill if you don’t want your food sticking rub a potato across it before putting your food down. It worked for me.

I have finally gotten my home back, I been working Monday through Friday and working long hours. I told myself Saturday that I need to just bite the bullet and clean clean clean.
