Liking the new type of content, liking the headlights, turn signals and little side repeaters. Good job all round. Can't wait for then engine strip down / build. As someone who doesn't tinker with engines myself always fascinating to watch someone who knows what they are doing. UK out 👍👍
Thanks man for the comment! I actually filmed the first tear down episode today and managed to get a lot stripped down. I’m getting a good idea of the future for the build 👌🏻
Lights look great. I’ve lately just been buying Milwaukee battery powered tools. Impacts ratchets. Hand tools, Husky( Home Depot) Craftsman(Lowe’s) Harbor Freight. Tools and Tool Boxes for all price ranges.
Awesome Jason, You know i always love your videos but amazing to see you in the US with the Evo and continuing your story with the car. It's fast becoming one of the best examples anywhere 😎 👌🏻
Keep the springs. Trust me you will need them. Fit the small hook into the hole of the side marker then slide the marker into the headlight. Then the side openings where the battery and opposite the aircon relays are, the "S" section of the spring hooks on the body notch
Yeap, they're super easy once you know how they work, and such a simple system. They're just a little confusing at first. It's quite frustrating watching these videos when I've owned one for 18 years and know all the in's and out's but cant tell him at the time he's doing things.
i got an normal lancer 93 (not evo) but its fascinating how same hardware frame its. so even if mine not evo still helpful your videos and progress ! since the big difference is only the bodykit + engine xD agree how silly are installed the headlights depending off the fender sockets too. so be careful not crash your fender since that gonna align the fit on the corner+headlight still i cant make my headlights look straight because that. xD
@@CaptTwo6 Yes that is a good comparison 400bhp is more than enough in my opinion and you will not be going into any garage for repairs from worn out parts either.!
It’s just old and brittle. Removing the front bumper has some awkward screws close to the FMIC. My knuckle rubbed gently across it and flaked off some fins. A new intercooler is on the horizon but it’s a waste to really upgrade since the OEM is proven for 500+ hp
@@CaptTwo6 I use a cheap Dollar Tree "afro pick" to take through the find and straighten them out on my smics, a/c condensers, and rads when I do partous or actually work on one of my cars. Works great. Just start above the bends and pull down. Doesn't make it perfect, but definitely helps
I'm new to your channel. Great content. Saw a few videos so far. In you abandoned Evo 5 video you said, your time has come, and you're leaving Japan. Is it due to visa or your job? I'm intrigued as you said you're shipping your Evo.
I’m holding on to my stock parts don’t worry. I enjoy modifying cars to make it my own and unique. That’s the fun of owning one. The stock car was great but I didn’t enjoy driving it nearly as much as I do now, and that’s only with some simple bolt ones.

Good info and I’ll keep in mine man!
The corner lamp springs are actually need to hook with the frame under the fender. The middle part will be hooked at the frame.

Hi I just found your channel.. Nice evo man. I love it.
Thanks man and welcome!
Nice evo III. the side signal lamp spring is actually the same as the Proton wira. there is a lot of tutorial in youtube on how to change it.
Thanks for the info! I’ll look into it

Nice effect Capt, unique, your car will turn heads in Georgia it’s rare, it’s clean and it’s right hand drive 👍👍🤛. I hope u keep it forever 🤗

I'm glad I gave you that photoshop of the lights from before. lol
Tekton tools are reasonably priced and of excellent quality. I used them in the shops I've worked at.

@@CaptTwo6 welcome keep up the good contant
I like the amber corners and fender lights
Car looks great brother 👍 looking forward to you next lot of uploads
Damn .... this lady have some beautiful eyes!
Nice one👍👍
As iv gotten older I prefer the OE look on my Evos, but it does look really good with the dark lights.
Looks great!
Looks great cap!
the evo is freaking timeless! headlights were a great idea.
Looks really good! 😎
Looks great. I used to have a 95 4 door mirage, same platform. You should try the amber side markers with the aftermarket headlights.
oh looks soo good!
My 1998 Evo V is running at 400bhp and that's the sweet spot for me so I reckon the same for your Evo III. I can switch between 320,360 and 400bhp.
How is the 400hp setting? Feel like a missile?
@@CaptTwo6 Yes that is a good comparison 400bhp is more than enough in my opinion and you will not be going into any garage for repairs from worn out parts either.!
Looks super good! What happened to the front mount? Bunch of bent fins!

Orange coner lights look better
Amber one was great
The new headlights look good and the sidemarkers as well!🔥🔥
Damn, they didnt let the paint dry before installin the sidemarkers? Lolol
No park light bulbs?
The front looks like an evo 7
You will regret parting with these original parts in the future. That was a nice original example when you got it you slowly devaluing it.

Capt Two6
I done the same thing to one of my cars when I was in my 20s I'm in my 40s now and I'm spending a fortune putting it back to stock.
I’m in my 30s so I guess I have the mod but still haha
🔥💯
You need fog lamp in jdm yellow
I’d still prefer the stock condition on this car.
Where is the link to purchase?
Were they just mirage lights?
Actually labeled as Evo 1-3 lights but they would work on either
Yo
Noooooo. Thumbs down for them rubbish headlights and blinkers. Besides that, mint E3 !!
Hit me about the Camry 2012 to 2016 SE or LE .
