- We are so glad we did this ... not only did our car not have the 3 washers required per injector - the new set only came with two ?
Our small extra outlay to buy OEM washers has paid massive dividends, solving injector burn issues and Murdocks smoking habit !
If you know nothing about injector replacement (like us) we think this is a really helpful video ! (but you be the judge :)

At Drivenmad, we repair, maintain and upgrade vehicles in our workshop, here in the sunny Algarve, Portugal.
Having hundreds of kilometres of dirt roads, dirt tracks and various hills with ruts on our doorstep, we venture out and test our 4x4’s to the limit (our limit, not theirs )
When we can get one, we will slip in a vehicle review, along with some product testing - who does not want to know which tyre stops the best ?
So subscribe and join our journey as we modify, test and improve our cars in as many ways as possible.

Senden çok şey öğreniyorum. Teşekkürler , mükemmelsin dostum 👏👏👏
Was hoping you would do an episode on the injectors🎉 great job!
Nice tweezer action gents, a tip I have popped into the memory bank, thank you
Cool content. A video on how you upgraded your headlight would be great, South Africa cape town
Well if it isn't Mr.murduc 😍 , long time no see ya my friend , good to see us again ,
Great vid lads! Clear and to the point. One thing though... any bleeding/priming of the lines required (if yes how?) or should it start straight up? Cheers!
Hi Jon & Nath,
After reading fuel injector in the title I went straight to urban dictionary, yes, this is my type of video. In reality, not quite what I expected, but entertaining nevertheless.
I am so disappointed the clamps did not get powder coated... someone is slacking ;-)... Ohhh and btw.... what the f did you with your hair you silly muppet.....;-)..... and finally.... as always..... love your vid..... being the lucky owner of an L200 with 270.000 km on the clock, this series is soooooooo helpful to me...... thx
Thanks for the video, found it real helpful. Just about to do same job on my 2.8d shogun mk2 . My biggest worry is slackening the injectors. Can they be broken if your too heavy handed, these have never been out as far as I know.
Hello nice video, respect! Where have you bought that kit with washers sir? Thanks'
Great video
Hi, great Job. I have a similar problem but my one have black smoke only when accelerate not on Idle and not metter cold or hot is remain same a lots of black smoke and not much power, any advice is greatly appreciated
Great movie! Where did you buy your injectors ?
Am I right in saying this is a mechanical fuel pump and injectors, not common rail?
فيديو تعليمي رائع
Forgive me if I missed it but I'm wondering if your new injectors are OEM? You guys mentioned the washers are OEM but what about the actual injectors? I'm struggling with to track down genuine brand new one's here in Australia. Still waiting on a reply from Mitsubishi but everywhere else I've tried can't seem to source genuine brand new one's. Instead they propose to service/recondition them or go for blueprint/aftermarket set.
Hi gents, i have a shogun sport. Same engine, same leaky on top of injectors. Could this cause the speedo needle to jump around on acceleration and in neutral, as in bad fuel delivery? Or could it be more? Thanks
I was told the heat seal washer smallest one went flat side down domed side to the injector.. Is this information wrong I was given or doesn't it matter.. Thanks!
How to disassemble enjection pump of l200 step by step sir
