    Excellent info!!!
    This is not the vehicle for 40" tires. Small V6 = Small V6 engineering. I'd rather drive than fix. My buddy has an '04 F150. Dealing with R&P regularly. I don't think Baja 500 and rock crawling is what Ford had in mind when they designed the new Bronco. I think they added everything the average weekend overlander wants. Better off with a 70s - 90s model for mods. At least you can get a V8 in it. Looks like more trouble than it's worth.

    So, tie rods being what they are, you'll need an alignment straight away after removing and replacing the tie rod to get the bushing installed?
    So leave the brace off until after, and then install?
    Seems like otherwise you're stuck with them being on for when you go in for an alignment, and they'll have to remove them for that?

    • @BroncBustertx
      @BroncBustertx  2 роки тому +1

      You do not need alignment as long as you don’t adjust the nut. So as soon as you put the bushing in and reinstall the tie rod then install the brace.

    • @BroncBustertx

      Leave them on. We designed them to stay on all the time it only adds 1 pound of weight per side. Only time they need to come off is before you take it in for an alignment. I wouldn’t let them touch it 😂

    Truly amazing that people think it's ok to need to do this on a brand new vehicle supposedly designed for off-road use. I applaud you for designing these fixes, but you should NOT need to do this. We (society) have been duped into paying for products that are not ready for market.

    • @BroncBustertx
      @BroncBustertx  2 роки тому +1

      Well I’ll agree and disagree! Take Jeep for example. Less than 95% will ever take off road. That’s why Jeep comes with week parts and tiny tires. Why build 95% for the 5% of market? No one would be able yo afford.

    • @scottyh72
      @scottyh72 2 роки тому

      @@BroncBustertx You prove my point. Stuff is way overpriced for what you get. Jeep, Ford, especially Toyota. Their new stuff is garbage. But people keep paying the prices, so manufacturers keep making junk. If people researched and didn't give in to instant gratification, we would be enjoying better made equipment at lower prices.

    • @samurai4x483
      @samurai4x483 2 роки тому +1

      The problem with the bronco is that the vehicle is way too capable in stock form, and most drivers can't keep up, soo they do mistakes and break parts.
      Putting bigger tyres on an IFS vehicle has always been a challenge. You upgrade the steering, the CVs start to break. You upgrade the CVs, the lower control arms and hubs start to break. You upgrade the arms, the steering starts to break again... it's just the nature of IFS.
      The only way to fix this is by limiting the suspension travel and not lifting it or running wheel spacers... but how are you going to fit the juicy 40" tyres without a lift?
      A jeep is junk? A stock 2 door rubicon with a set of 35" treps will go anywhere... they come with 32s and will easily handle 37s, how is that not overbuilt?
      Toyota junk? I've seen at least half a dozen of them with more than a million kilometers on the odometer...

    • @nm-qt2hb
      @nm-qt2hb 2 роки тому +1

      I have only seen people with aftermarket larger tires break the Bronco front end. With the stock 35s they seem to hold up fine. Look at the rock crawling that has caused the damage? Not your average trails that most people do
      We run with a few Jeeps when we go out. The Jeeps with small lift kits and 33s almost never have problems. The ones with the 35s or bigger tend to have more issues. They do bend outer tie rods. There front alignment always need adjustment. Let's not even talk about how like shit they ride.
      The stock set up Bronco with factory wheels and 35s would be fine. What you have here is a setup pushed beyond it's limits. They are learning as they go. I have no doubt they will surprise most people with they will accomplish
      You have a whole aftermarket for the Jeep community. All kinds of heavy duty parts to replace "weak" stock parts. They would not be needed if Jeep stuff didn't break.
      Do not sell the IFS short. The competition is heating up nicely. The new Raptor Bronco is out this year. It is a whole new level. Jeep has not much to answer it. Maybe they will drop two Hemi engines in one?😂
      Good luck with this Bronco build. Can't wait for your next video. 👍
