you all have shown this video so much, love! Thank you so much. please continue to leave your questions down below and give the video a big THUMBS up it helps a lot :)
It looks amazing but in hindsight you should have used yarn that was tightly spun. The yarn you used was basically wool which has no structural integrity. Its either gonna turn to hard felt in the washing machine or its going to fall apart because the fibres aren't held together. On the bright side at least you didn’t pay 400 for something that won't last
I doubt this was wool looking at the price point. I don’t know how well acrylic would hold up but imagine i it wouldn’t fall apart as quickly as a 100% natural fibre would.
without a doubt the best tutorial on this. very organized. I've watched almost a dozen of these videos and Ive been stuck. if you have time, could you do one video on just the sleeve, it was kinda hard to see the process. i think it's because the initial sleeve diameter you used was small(?)
I love that you put in what you did right AND what you did wrong. That helps so much; I am trying one of these for my daughter with loop yarn (mainly b/c I suck at doing it freehand) in more pastel/easter colors. Thank you very much for a great video. Did you ever put any buttons on or did you leave the front like it is in the video?
Thank you, happy to help and glad you enjoyed!! Easter colours would look so pretty! And no, I didn't use buttons, mainly because i didn't want to purchase any additional tools lol. If you could find some really huge bulky buttons that would really compliment this cardigan. Let me know how it goes for you! :)
Please please pleaseeeee tell me is it possible to wash it? Can you tell me how to take care for it? I really want to try making one but I'm really new to using this thread and have no idea how to take care for it 😩🥺
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I impulsively bought this yarn cause it’s sooo pretty and wanted to make it into a cardigan but couldn’t find any good one until I came across yours. I’m a crocheted too and have never tried knitting so I’m nervous to start this but ima go for it 😁😁
Lol the “original state” of yarn is actually the roving yarn since it has not been spun. I would not recommend this yarn to make cardigans with, since it has no structure and the sweater will deteriorate quickly. Always use spun yarn to knit with.
Lets say you made 11 loops for row 1. You should have been working from left to right To start row 2 you pierce your fingers into the last loop of row 1 (the 11th loop) and pull the yarn up through that loop. You should be working from right to left now. but make sure you change the direction of where the yarn (coming from the ball) is laying to help you remember which directions to go in You will be going left to right, then right to left, and repeat. *row 1 is technically a chain, but I said loops to simplify If you still need help dm me on Instagram and I’ll get to it as soon as I can! ☺️ @mainmadecrochet
I love your humor!!, and you're a cutie with a petite body so yeah, the sweater looks nice on your body good video. I would really like it if you would check out Laura Cepeda's hand knitting videos and maybe re-create one of her sweaters on your channel, her work is detailed and elegant. Thanks.
Aww, its not all in vain. I could remake this project again in a day. The video is meant to reflect my first attempt and give lessons to those who want to try it out! A part of art is making things multiple time until you get it right! :)

Lmao this is like the best tutorial I've seen like... ever. You explained everything so well it was so useful
Glad you think so, and happy it helped!
What kind of yarn is that? I was trying to see the tag but I'm pretty blind! I love it and would love to order some.
The way you explained so thoroughly and divided the video in chapters with diagrams and measurements and everything>>> this is amazing

@@drayner2517 and you are 100% correct! This is for sure the cost effective alternative for beginners ☺️

Do you think your results would have been different if you'd have used a crochet?
Definitely trying this thank you!!
Please show me when you're done !!
Keep going you are very nice ☺️
Thank you so much 😁
How many threads used for?
Hello how much do you sell them for ?
Lol the “original state” of yarn is actually the roving yarn since it has not been spun. I would not recommend this yarn to make cardigans with, since it has no structure and the sweater will deteriorate quickly. Always use spun yarn to knit with.
Thank you for the information! Makes sense why I was having issues
I’m still confused about what to do once you get to the end of the first row :( how do I connect and create a second row and so on?
Lets say you made 11 loops for row 1. You should have been working from left to right
To start row 2 you pierce your fingers into the last loop of row 1 (the 11th loop) and pull the yarn up through that loop. You should be working from right to left now.
but make sure you change the direction of where the yarn (coming from the ball) is laying to help you remember which directions to go in

What's the name of the wool you used?
Chunky grande big by loops and threads ! And Ariel big by loops and threads! ☺️
Thanks for telling 😍😍
It’s a shame that’s it’s gonna fall apart. Especially since you unraveled it as well.. 😔
