Wayne, while this is one of my favorite songs I feel this recording falls short technically. For anyone who likes this rendition I'd recommend the Jerry Douglas' Traveler album. It features Mumford and Douglas in a rendition this Simon & Garfunkel fan believes is an improvement on the Bridge Over Troubled Waters original. I think the audio guys (or someone in the chain) didn't do this version justice.
This is nice. Whoever ran the sound board could have balanced the voices better. Could barely hear Emmylou or any of the harmonies for that matter. Still nicely done.
Sehr schöne Musik, mit viel Gefühl gesungen 🙂
Sehr gefühlvoll gesungen, ich kann nur gratulieren!
Just beautiful, one of my favorite songs
Same
GREAT!!!!
Emmylou? Really?? Damn only the most beautiful woman and voice ever! When you get Emmylou and Jerry Douglas together. This is epic!
They didn't let her sing.

LOVE his voice on this, also really like the original S and G version. Not sure Emmylou brings much to this one ...
Her voice is too soft.
@@myrtlekitty Not her fault, it was in the mixing.
The only version that comes to Simon and Garfunkel is still miles away. I’m embarrassed for y’all.
Re-listen to Live in Central Park. Nothing embarrassing here. Great version.
