Books mentioned: 1. Graceling and Fire 2. The Perks of Being a Wallflower 3. Every Day 4. A Thousand Nights 5. The Sun Is Also a Star 6. They Both Die At the End 7. Turtles All The Way Down 8. The Hate You Give 9. Fangirl 10. A Very Large Expanse of Sea The only one of these that I’ve read is The Hate You Give. It was such a beautiful novel. How many of these have you guys read?
I've read 3. Fire, graceling and perks of being a wallflower. Fire and graceling are some of my favorite books. But I wasn't to fond off perks of being a wallflower. There are others on this list that I have on my TBR though
They Both Die at the End is one of my favorite books. It's the first book that's ever made me cry, and listening to you talk about it almost made me cry again tbh....
Too many, so many good standalones. I love all your books you mention, there are so many great ones! I love The Book Thief, Between Shades of Gray, Eliza and Her Monsters, You Bring the Distance Near, The Astonishing Color of After, When Dimple Met Rishi, Allegedly, You're Welcome Universe, etc etx etx
There's so many great standalone titles you list here, and really, I'm hoping to see an uptick in standalone YA titles, particularly in YA Fantasy. I have a hard time in following series that take awhile between each book being published, so it's nice to have a story contained within a single volume. :)
Sorry this isn't a book related question, but, what's the lipstick you have on in this video? It looks good on you, and my best friend's skin tone is similar to yours, so I want to gift it to her.
I really LOVED graceling but was definitely disapointed by fire. I couldn't finish it and it made me not want to read bitterblue. The characters seemed so much less deep and the story wasn't as interesting. What was great about graceling was the character connections which fire really lacked.
If you love A Thousand Nights, you should read The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. It isn't a standalone. The second book is called The Rose and the Dagger, but it's also a retelling of A Thousand and One Arabian Nights. I absolutely loved it!!!
The hate u give is one of my favorite books and it opened my eyes and there is not a single day that goes by that I am not grateful to my brother for buying me this book
It’s been so long since I’ve read Graceling and Fire! I really liked both, though I generally prefer Graceling if I had to pick one. And I also quite enjoyed The Sun is Also a Star! I thought it was so well done. And Fangirl was delightful, and still my favorite Rowell read!
yesss i absolutely loved everyday! i understand the reactions of the underwhelmed but like you said the concept and the writing were both so personally captivating to me. i think it was something about how existential it all was. i borrowed it from the school library before i even knew it was gonna be a movie (that i didn’t watch 😂) but i definitely need my own copy for my collection 😩
I haven’t read a lot of these yet but I also really enjoyed Every Day and Turtles All The Way Down. And I love LOVE LOVE Fangirl haha I relate so much with Caths anxiety and with writing fan fiction/being a part of a fandom.
I really loved Every Day as well. The follow up (Any Day) was such a disappointing, though. Turtles All the Way Down was very good. I was very disappointed by The Fault in Our Stars, but Turtles... was really good. The Hate U Give has been on my TBR for ages. I hope to get around to it in 2020. Fangirl was such a fun read! I enjoyed this video, might look into some of the books I haven't read.
I feel the same way about Turtles All The Way Down! I don't like any of John Green's books as much as that one, it definitely was a step up and felt more personal.
Your name is so beautiful with such a significant meaning. Awesome review great selections of books.. definately picked few from your list. I agree i dont like watching movies of books that I've read n love, somehow i feel movies dont justifies the message n sadly it has different impact on viewers. Im ordering a thoudand nights ive been thinking about it for awhile now i have too lol...Subscribed!🛎
I really need to read Graceling, heard nothing but good things😅 Also you had some really good recommendations and I’ll definitely be picking some of these books up😊✨
I’d add A List Of Cages, written by Robin Roe, and This Is What It Feels Like, written by Rebecca Barrow, to this list :) they’re both contemporary stand-alones.
i love books that are the same world but about different characters. the outsiders by s.e hinton is one of my favourites and she overlapped into that was then this is now and it was great!
Omg, about every day by David Levithan, I really liked the book and yeah, I thought the ending was sad, but for once, it didn't keep me from really liking it and trust me, I saw the movie and it was really well done, it's worth it, there are even some things that I preferred in the movie ;) I'm usually very critical about book-to-movie adaptations, but I liked that one
I needed this video because I’m constantly betrayed when I find a book I really want to read and then I find out it’s a trilogy or a whole series. I’m just like “I DONT HAVE MONEY FOR YOU”
I knew exactly what book you were talking about when introducing They both die in the end. I also was no expecting to look it as much as I did. I am still in pain.
So i ve read everyday and i ve wached the movie and i prefer the movie because i ve hated A in the book like i didn t understand the romance and i though he was a bit toxic cause he was always talking about what he feel without asking himself if the girl like him too and also the moment when he was in the body of a fat person was really body shaming him wich made me feel so bad Also i ve read fangirl, i did like it cause you know i ve felt so related with cath ( i write fanfiction and i have a cousin that have the same age and some years ago she started having new friends and all those stuff and i was so sad and then my bestie has a very special character, she's like the rommate of cath
Definitely putting Graceling and Fire (and Bitterblue, as per someone else's comment) on my wishlist. =)I love Fangirl! I need to reread it soon! (I've added you as a friend on Goodreads, too, I hope that's okay?)
I really like ur recommendation videos but maybe don't reveal so much of the plot or story when ur discussing a book because it kind of spoils the experience of reading the books u recommend! enjoy ur videos tho !
You should read We walked the sky by Lisa Fiedler.. Wowwww I loved that book, it made me laugh and cry and I don't even have the words to describe it🤯😭
I LOVE THEY BOTH DIED AT THE ENDDDD And A VERY LARGE EXPANSE OF SEAAAA!!! ahh so good! I loved Rufus, and I’m sad we didn’t get an death scene like Mateo, but we all can’t have what we want lol 😂😂😂
Tbh (not trying to start anything just my opinion) the hate u give is one of my least favorite books because it just uses so much slang to the point it is kinda difficult to understand some parts and I get she is in the ghetto an stuff but it just seems a bit exaggerated
You talk really really fast. If you’re rushing in an attempt to rush through your review, maybe limit the number of books you review. I kept wanting you to breathe.
ok so you can talk really fast,,or you can simply talk a LOT..but you cant do both!!! it's just too much and overwhelming....I have a hard time watching an entire video

I've read four of them. Turtles all the way down and The perks of being a Wallflower are amazing!!
I've read 3. Fire, graceling and perks of being a wallflower.
Fire and graceling are some of my favorite books. But I wasn't to fond off perks of being a wallflower.
There are others on this list that I have on my TBR though
@@shadowedsyren the hate u give and fangirl are really good 2, u should def read them!
I love how much you discuss the books! Not just “it’s really good” or “I loved it plz read it”
“they both die at the end” is getting adapted into a show from HBO! definitely going to give it a read.
WHAT? REALLY?
wait what?! i didn’t know that but i loves the book so i’ll probably check it out!
wait, fr? i just finished reading the book and i loved it holy shit
really? i would have expected a movie but i guess if they do each episode as 1-2 hours in the day, it could work VERY well
They Both Die at the End is one of my favorite books. It's the first book that's ever made me cry, and listening to you talk about it almost made me cry again tbh....

I love The Book Thief, Between Shades of Gray, Eliza and Her Monsters, You Bring the Distance Near, The Astonishing Color of After, When Dimple Met Rishi, Allegedly, You're Welcome Universe, etc etx etx
Allegedly was amazing that twist! I felt for her the whole book then...
I loved Fangirl. Being in fandoms has been such a big part of my life since I was 16 and so the whole book was very relatable lol
Letters to the Lost, My Heart and Other Black Holes, This Is Where It Ends, and Emergency Contact are really good.
letters to the lost on my god i haven’t heard anyone talk about it, it’s so so good
I love seeing Graceling/Fire (and BitterBlue!) recommendations!!
There's so many great standalone titles you list here, and really, I'm hoping to see an uptick in standalone YA titles, particularly in YA Fantasy. OMG! Fangirl! 😍😍

I just started The Hate You Give for the first time. I’m so glad you love it.

the way you discuss and talk about the books is immaculate 💖 I absolutely want to read every book you talk about HAHA
I never heard of some of these books and I'm definitely interested in reading some of these books you spoke about! 😊❤
The hate u give is one of my favorite books and it opened my eyes and there is not a single day that goes by that I am not grateful to my brother for buying me this book

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE A VERY LARGE EXPANSE OF SEA!💙💙💙 AND THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER!! GOSH I JUST LOVE 'EM ALL

When you started to talk about „fangirl“ i was shock. This story sounds so similar to my and my twinsisters story...
bro I love ur eyeliner!!!
I LOVE GRACELING! THUG is so good as well!
I haven’t read a lot of these yet but I also really enjoyed Every Day and Turtles All The Way Down. And I love LOVE LOVE Fangirl haha I relate so much with Caths anxiety and with writing fan fiction/being a part of a fandom.
My absolute fav stand alone is Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
how does your makeup always look so good omgggggg
I love that you are talking about books that aren’t popular in the booktube world
I really loved Every Day as well. The follow up (Any Day) was such a disappointing, though.
Turtles All the Way Down was very good. I was very disappointed by The Fault in Our Stars, but Turtles... was really good.

Absolutely love Graceling and Fire! But Bitterblue is still my favourite. I'm sad it wasn't mentioned. :')
me too!!! bitterblue is such a classic omg
sorry guys I love graceling and fire but I wasn't the biggest fan of bitterblue unfortunately!
thisstoryaintover me too. Bitterblue kind of spoilt it for me. It just went sideways. Graceling is really the best😍😍.
I realized after watching about six of your videos in a row I need to subscribe.
You are exactly what I pictured Inej Ghafa to be💞 beautiful and flawless skin💖💖

I havent finished warbreaker by brandon sanderson but from your description of a thousand nights they definitely have some similarities in them.
I really need to read Graceling, heard nothing but good things😅 Also you had some really good recommendations and I’ll definitely be picking some of these books up😊✨
I love off campus series by elle kennedy. Deal is my favourite
I’d add A List Of Cages, written by Robin Roe, and This Is What It Feels Like, written by Rebecca Barrow, to this list :) they’re both contemporary stand-alones.
I don't know if you've gotten this question and answered it before but I am OBSESSED with your tapestry in the background, where did you get it from?
haha you and almost every other person who comments is also obsessed 😂 it's from society6!

I knew exactly what book you were talking about when introducing They both die in the end. I also was no expecting to look it as much as I did. I am still in pain.
Did you read Bitterblue in the Graceling "series"? I loved Fire and Graceling a lot more, but it was interesting to read more of that world.
I just read Every Day by David Levithan and I loved it! I gave it five stars, and I plan on purchasing the whole set for myself!
I feel like I am the only one who did not like the sun is also a star
No... you arent alone.....
it sucked🥴
I love they both die at the end so much 😭😭
So i ve read everyday and i ve wached the movie and i prefer the movie because i ve hated A in the book like i didn t understand the romance and i though he was a bit toxic cause he was always talking about what he feel without asking himself if the girl like him too and also the moment when he was in the body of a fat person was really body shaming him wich made me feel so bad

I wouldn’t recommend watching the movie “T.H.U.G” its completely different really ruined the book for me 🙄
De La Rosa Montenegro you think so? I also read the Book and thought That the Movie was so Good and That it was completely like the book
I really like ur recommendation videos but maybe don't reveal so much of the plot or story when ur discussing a book because it kind of spoils the experience of reading the books u recommend! enjoy ur videos tho !
I love the book every day by David levithan I read it in my senior year of high school
it throws me off so much hearing you talk about every day and saying rhiannon😂
haha that must be confusing 😂💜
So many books for me to TBR. Thank you! :D
You should read We walked the sky by Lisa Fiedler.. Wowwww I loved that book, it made me laugh and cry and I don't even have the words to describe it🤯😭

A thousand nights sounds just like the story of Esther in the Bible 😅
you have nice skin really pretty
Hey are you Tamil???

Tbh (not trying to start anything just my opinion) the hate u give is one of my least favorite books because it just uses so much slang to the point it is kinda difficult to understand some parts and I get she is in the ghetto an stuff but it just seems a bit exaggerated
Help
