    As an American man, I like the idea of women letting a man know their intentions. It saves me the trouble of trying to figure out if the woman is serious or if she's playing games.

    The Sugarcubes and Bjork were a big part of my youth. They played in my town in my teens. Our college had an exchange program with Iceland. They were tall, blond, modern, and attractive. The boys were wild and fun. The girls were reserved, sweet, and beautiful. I have such fun memories at parties and out dancing. Wonderful, virtuous, happy people.

    I owe so much of who I am to Iceland. I grew up in a repressed culture when it comes to openness about feelings and sexuality.
    After college , i had to go 2 wks/year to Reykjavik for work. Beautiful country landscapes. The people were so open about everything and it changed my whole perspective on life and relationships. I took that attitude here to the states and it opened up my personal life for the better. Today i am married to a Norwegian woman and life is good.

      @MrPicky 10 місяців тому +3

      @@rayfreeman2305 Iceland was under Danish rule until 1918 when it became a sovereign state in a personal union with Denmark (Danish king was also king of Denmark). It became independent in 1944.
      Though Denmark definitely had influence in Iceland Icelanders were always very independent and didn't want the Danish to "change their ways". This is one of the main reasons why the Icelandic language is still used in Iceland while in Norway Danish influenced the Norwegian language so highly that Norwegians and Danes can understand each other (written language, not spoken, it can be hard to understand spoken Danish 🤦‍♂).
      Danes had monopoly on export and import and therefore did not become popular with Icelanders that were quite happy to see them leave.
      In terms of "ideas of freedom" then the Nordic countries have many similarities in terms of culture and thinking. In terms of politics and freedom then I'd say that Sweden has also had a big influence on our democracy. We tend to take up what we think are the "best bits" from our Nordic brothers and sisters.

    Iceland does not go down to -27 degrees F.
    I lived there for two years and I know their weather patterns.
    The coldest I ever saw it get is 13 degrees F.
    Of course, if you go in the middle of January up on top of a large glacier it will certainly be colder than temps in the towns and cities. And wind chill varies with wind speed, of course.
    As far as summer temps, I've seen it get up to 75 degrees F. Usually, it hovers around 60-70 degrees F. in the
    01 July-05 Sep time period.
    And if you get into some trees or get out of the wind in another place, it feels even warmer.

How many women are engaged in the primary economy, ie, in the production of food, shelter, energy, infrastructure construction, infrastructure maintenance and the like? I thought so. Expensive to live there and their is a time limit, I believe it is 90 days. Gov wants to keep their bloodline pure but adding a new bloodline might favor some people! Beautiful women but sex is not a big deal to them and you might get your feelings hurt if they do not want to see you again!

    I like the gender equality idea in jobs and relationships. Also being independent isn't seen as feminist or a bad thing. As far as the intimacy first before dating I'd be somewhat hesitant on that and the nudity openness. I wish it could be more open like this in other countries especially the US. If you're a independent women who can take care of herself you're seen as abnormal and damaged.

    • @drewber565
      @drewber565 10 місяців тому

      I don't know where in the US, you are, but in Texas and most other places I've lived, women who are independent are not seen as strange, unless they act rude or strange. I'm very tired of hearing this shit. Mostly it's a bullshit propagated by hollyweird. They always say, if a man acted in such and such way, everyone would call him assertive and strong. If a woman acts that way, everyone calls her a bitch. Untrue. If a man acts that way, everyone calls him an asshole. I served in the military for almost 30 years. I had male and female commanders, including 3 female Generals. Both the males and females were fair in how they treated people, for the most part, and were level-headed. I had one male commander who I thought was kind of a dick and indecisive. I had one female commander, who was nice to me, but a bitch to so many others. While there were all kinds of personalities, I wouldn't call any of them; male or female, abnormal or damaged. The one female, I mentioned, did turn out to be damaged. She decided, after over 25 years, to become homosexual, break up her marriage and leave her children and husband. We have many women in the House and Senate.

If you go to Iceland and straightly ask a woman S*X she will down to do it they are very sexually open and if you are an African the chances of getting your offer refused is less than 1% because they love BBC, and not to mention Icelandic women have very high body counts and they are the highest leading majorities when it comes to STD’s.

    It sounds quite the enigma and puzzling that Icelandic women view normal friendliness as rudeness culturally, yet how are they supposed to get to know someone if they consider normal friendliness a bad thing?
    Normal people call that antisocial behavior.
    Someone who thinks a normal courtesy of responding to a stranger is in someway degrading, bad or beneath them is definitely antisocial. Because of their warped, thinking, it makes the women unapproachable at least that’s the way your video makes it appear.

    I'm a Terrestrial beng form Palanet Earth, and a well travelled European. I think '''nudety'' is an issue in the US, or a country with harsh laws, or strong religious belife's, nudetty in Scandinavian contries comes fom the the time of Saunas, hot springs, and Viking's from way farback in time, and liberalism form the 70's and 80's Two, Contries like Spain, Portugal, Brasil, Germany, Holland, and 50% of Africa and golobal tribes and all the north Western Mediterranean Sea in general, and the Holliwood Film ''Downt Look UP'' 🤔
    are very liberal and relaxed abut nudetty, It's '''no big deal''
    Nudety, is common in Continental Europe apart form England (they call it Decency..??🤧), We say '''Free the Country of Scotlad'' from England's Union and it's Emperialisum(Comenwelth) in the 21 Century?? Peace and ''Democracy'' and ''well-beenig'' for Scotland...☃
