Maybe it's because I've only heard this song off the ep, maybe it's because I've been listening to Aegaeon, but god damn it I miss the SS that had sick lows. SS is still an alright band, just no longer my style.

Jesus mumby you're lying. Very few bands actually worship Satan, none of which are from this genre. Form thus generation even. The only bands I know of that have had history in theistic satanism are deicide (traditional death metal) and dissection (black/death metal) this band is neither genre. The vocalist for deicide just went away from it and the vocalist for dissection killed himself because he believed his life was complete. There are a lot more that I don't know about in the old school black metal scene, but that is because the black metal scheme was primarily in Norway and I don't follow black metal a whole lot. Plus the bands that actually do almost never make it this far. Also there is a big difference between anti-religion and satanism. This band is just anti-religous.

***** yea I understand what you're saying. I was brain washed at one point too. But luckily I had some hippie friends that thought me that I need to think about what I believe and why I believe it. I'm still open to the idea of a higher power now but I am certainly not religious.
From time to time I do enjoy this kinda stuff. I really never got into albums like The Cleansing, but this is more to my liking.

A lot of people still mourn Mitch Lucker because if the song You Only Live Once. It woke a lot of people up and made them realize that this is their one life and best to go live it to their best ability while they still can. Eddie is a beast with his vocals though so people shouldn't dis him. If anything i am glad he got the role instead of some shithead that might ruin the band.
