i really hoped for this since eddie joined the band and got disappointed back in the days. fans where butthurt anyways and griefed all the way against eddie. don't get me worng i liked the mitch era, but so do i like the ASP Eddie. i thought it was a match made in heaven that they found a proper vocalist to open a new chapter for SS. instead of going on heads held high with a new found glory they first tried to mimic mitch - failed. sold their souls with a calculated album aiming for a bigger target group while shitting on their fans, failed again. now we have basicly the old eddie with old SS sound - nothing innovative but solid hopefuly it is enough this time.

This is the stigma with a lot of bands the new singer comes and trying to match the old vocalist.. which I understand you want to have the same vibes but being your own vocalist instead of trying to mimic the previous just makes it that much better. The vocals (Mitch's best work imo), the atmosphere, the catchiness of every track, even the eerie artwork that was done for it. This new stuff sounds like they've taken a lot from the days of the Cleansing but with better production and more mature song structure.
