Hi! Sorry for the delay. Just now seeing your message. The larger toy boxes we make are 36 incessantly wide by 15 inches tall. Seems to be a good fit! Let me know if you need a specific cut list for that size.
It's very refreshing watching a woman do woodwork.. I'm the only woman in my family that likes constructing stuff.. Luv the toy bin.. I might make one for my craft supplies..
You do these videos so well! I'm constantly like "Wow, I've got to do this sometime" for every project. But especially this toy bin, since I grew up without much of a place to put stuff. And it's versatile enough to be good for anything.

Hi guys! Kiersten here. So sorry there's no cut list! I didn't know this aired already. I'll provide the cut list in the comments and will also put them on my blog momentarily. And about "littler," that made me laugh! I shot 7 videos in one day so I think by the time we go to this particular project, I was spent. Frankly, I'm suprised I made ANY sense! :)
Only seven years late on this answer! Ha! So sorry...just seeing. It cost me about $40 in plywood and about 15 in materials like dowels, but I already had the drill bit so I didn't have to buy it. Add on top of that whatever finish you want to use and casters, and you're looking at around $75 for materials (without buying the miller dowel drill bit which is on the Rockler website.)

Woodworking 101 never glue end grain to face grain!
The glue will still provide a little support but the dowels are what is important
Life 101 never say never
Thanks, Simon. That's true. It's the Miller dowels that are giving support.
