- Hello and welcome to Week 17 in my weekly crafty series of 2024. It's the end of April so it's time for a planner page in my memory keeping planner. Follow along as I prepare my page, with tips along the way, then we'll talk about what to do with all the other photos we have that won't fit in one little planner page.

The Biltmore is such a fabulous place to visit and take photos!! Your planner page is perfect, and I will be excited seeing the outcome of your mini-album loaded with all the photos - beautiful work, Annette!!!!
Thanks so much Cheryl! I can't wait to finish the album. So many pretty photos!!
Thanks for sharing your planner page this week, Annette. It really turned out nice and I love the idea of putting the remaining pictures in your already constructed mini album! The title on the spine is perfect!
Thanks Marie! Glad you enjoyed it. I can't wait to finish filling up that mini album!
I grew up not far from the Biltmore Estate so this video was especially interesting to me. This page was beautifully done. ❤❤❤
Thanks! The estate was amazing and so very interesting to listen through the self-guided tour. The gardens were simply beautiful this time of year. That might've been my favorite part!
Congratulations on the 25k! Your videos always give me inspiration, food for thought and total eye candy. All the beautiful things!!! 😊
Awww, thanks so VERY much!!
What an amazing day you must have had to go through The Biltmore. It looks incredible. The page looks great and thanks for more tips.
Thanks Celine. It was so interesting to walk through each of the rooms and listen to all the history. I felt like I was in Downton Abbey! And the grounds are even more beautiful than I could ever capture in photos.
Loved watching you out this page together. Great album you’ve created too. ❤
Thanks so much. I'm so happy you enjoyed everything!
Beautiful page, and I just absolutely love the technique of adding vellum behind a title to separate it from the background pattern a bit. What a great idea!
Thanks Sherry! Such a simple little thing, but such great results, right? I'm glad I pursued that thought I was having.
Gorgeous page and your start on the mini album too. Thank you so much!
Thanks Belinda! I'm looking forward to finishing that album soon.
Beautiful! Love the page. My husband and I were just at the Biltmore the first week of April. I too have many pictures. Tulips were beautiful. I have now seen it in all four seasons. Each time I have gone I’m in awe.
Thanks so much Deb. It's beautiful there, especially the gardens! Surprisingly there weren't many tulips when we were there. I wonder if they peaked before we visited?
I just bought your album class and am so excited to make some. I had enjoyed watching your weekly video of 2023 that really inspired me to start my journalling and ECD journey on 2024, I am on week 17 now!!! Thank you for sharing your talents with us I alway learn some skills when I watch your videos.
Wonderful! I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying planner making and journaling. I hope you enjoy the album class. Are you in our Facebook group, Christy? Memory Keeping With Annette is what it's called.
Thanx again for a great video. Really nice. The Biltmore looks like a really great place to visit. Looking forward to next week's video
Thanks Chava. It's a wonderful place to visit! We really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching this week!
Hi Annette, watching replay, love the layout❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Mary. So happy you enjoyed it.
Beautiful page and video, Annette!!! I would love to go to the Biltmore Estate. Can't wait for the video of all the extra pictures. Thank you and take care. Congrats on 25,000 subscribers! Well done.
Thanks so much Carole. I hope you get to go someday. It's quite interesting to tour the estate.
Can't wait to see your completed Biltmore album - which is starting out fantastic. The Biltmore Estate is on the way between visiting my daughter in North Carolina and son in Tennessee so I'll have to stop there some day. You had a great week 17.
Thanks Kathy, it was a very nice week. I hope you get the chance to stop there soon. It's wonderful.
Great page, and great tip with the vellum. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Such an easy little fix with that vellum, right? I'll be doing that again.
Love your ideas. And, I would never have decided to have things go off the edge of the page…but they look so beautiful when you do it. I may just give this a try. Thanks again for a great video!
Thanks Geri. I'm glad you liked that tip. It makes a very nice difference to go off the edge. Something about it is so much more pleasing to the eye.
I LOVE that background paper!! Great page.
Thanks Robin! Thanks for checking it out again this week.
That vellum is genius!!!
Thanks! It really did the trick, didn't it?
Lovely page . Nice idea with the vellum. Great idea were to put your extra photos ❤😊
Thanks so much Jane. I'll be enjoying adding my photos to the mini album at my leisure.
Brilliant idea using the vellum. It really did make a difference. I also love the idea of your mini album. I've been thinking about buying that off your Etsy store. Thanks Annette for another great video. Just my thought, some people have hour long videos and I just can't! I could with you! 😊
Thanks Shirley! Such an easy fix, isn't it? I'll be using that trick again in the future. I hope you enjoy the mini album if you decide to purchase the tutorial. It's a fun and easy one to make.
Loved the page. I was really surprised by how much difference the vellum made.
Thanks. Me too! What a nice, easy trick. I'll be using that again in the future!
Love it and the vellum idea was a great idea.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it. I did too!
What a great idea with the vellum!
Thanks!! I'm glad I pursued that idea. Now I'll be using that again and again.
Thankyou so much for sharing wow week 17.Feeling a little behind only on week 7.Arghhhhh.❤❤
Don't fret about it, Marie. In your own time. It's meant to be a pleasure, not a chore. You'll get there. ❤
Nice page! I like the vellum under your letters.
Thanks Pam. Such an easy trick when you're background is a little busy.
Love it all!
Wonderful, thanks Jacquie!
We’re going to the Biltmore in 2 weeks. Thanks for the layout idea!
I hope you enjoy it. We booked a package deal which included the Chihuly exhibit, but we didn't especially feel it was worth the very long line outside in the hot sun and the even longer wait inside the building. Just a tip there. We loved the estate tour and really enjoyed walking the beautiful gardens. We also brought our own bikes and rode all over the area. That was very nice.
Loved both demos❤
Thanks Patti. I'm happy you enjoyed them.
Love how you did this.
Thanks so much!
Wonderful. Tfs
Thanks Kim!
The velum is a great idea. 😊
Thanks! Such an easy thing, right? Yet so effective!
I just ordered your new planner!
Yay! I hope you have fun making yours!
Annette your work is as exquisite as as it always is. Love both of them😊. As a person who journals a lot of photos I wanted to ask you if you knew of any dies that can cut mays for 3x4 inch and 6x4 photos. I’d love to have a dies that say cut 1/4 or half an inch bigger or do you cut all yours individually.?❤Thanks
Thanks so much. I'm sure there are dies out there for those sizes. You'd just have to search them out. I do my own myself.
I love your planner page. Sometimes I need to add a lot of photos. This page is perfect for that. I'm working my way through your mini album class. It's very easy to follow, as your classes always are. For you planner, did you use the 8 x 8 or the 12 x 12 for the dashboards? I think I need to purchase that tutorial too, because I love that paper.
Thanks Jodie! As for the dashboard pages in my planner, here's a video link of what you'll need to do those: ua-cam.com/video/XGILo3D3F90/v-deo.htmlsi=1dl8S62xm1z4jbzE
