Haaha, please do some research, BYD had 11 total fires between 2020 and 22 ... even if that number was x 10 it would still be less than burning ICE cars. Blade batteries are one of the safest EV batteries available. Hence probably why Toyota uses them in their Full elect car
I suspect they will upgrade the battery at the end of the year and put the new Blade V2 battery in and gain around 30 more KM on pure electric. And then hopefully do a full EV version also. They see that people are stupid as a general rule,and think they need a hybrid.

Your offroad, miles from anywhere and the battery is flat. 1.5L will get you exactly nowhere in a pinch. But yeah I suppose it's fine for around town and tarmac driving. 😂
