Wife and I had two cats throughout our relationship, we lost one of them almost a year ago. She used to lay on my chest and just purr while I was going through and recovering from chemo & radiation. She knew what she was doing, that it would help, and I'm convinced she was meant to be a small part of my journey through cancer.
I inherited my best buddy when my now ex moved in. She was furious that her cat would let me hold him and would sleep in my lap, something he never did with her. I really miss him, her not so much
Ohhhh, I’m sad for you - I had to leave a joint fur baby with a previous boyfriend because it was best for her, and it was a good two years before I could go to the pet store or even the pet aisle in the supermarket without starting to cry 🥺
My cat sleeps on my chest. I prefer to be a side sleeper but I find the cat rearranges me in my sleep. I wake up and he's made a nest with my arms around him.
My kitty likes to sleep by or on my feet. He also likes sleeping at the crook of my knees. I bottle fed him & raised him like he was my baby. I love him so!
We are three senior citizens and one cat. I'm his "Mommy", having had him since he was just three weeks old. He was a feral cat's kitten, and she was moving them when something happened and he was left behind. We three humans have been with him all of his life and now, at night, he rotates amongst us for sleeping, mostly with me between my feet, but also with the others in the household. He's so loved and spoiled, it's completely ridiculous, and none of us would have it any other way. 🥰
I had a cat who every night for almost years slept as the "little spoon" in my arms. His body would go under the covers and his face would be tucked right under my chin he was such a happy little creature that for the first 30-60 minutes of the night he would purr--initially just regular purring, but it would fade into this kind of "purr snore" as he started to drift off. I fell asleep to that sound for those entire 16 years. About a year or 18 months before he passed, he started getting sick. We were able to keep him happy and comfortable for a lot longer than we had expected, but we knew that the disease would ultimately be terminal. During that time I took several audio recordings of him during that first 30-60 minutes of us falling asleep. I have chronic pain which often causes chronic insomnia. On my worst nights, the only way I can get ANY sleep is to listen to those recordings
You hurry up and get yourself another kitty!!!! I have 5 here and they keep me sane....most of the time! You need to do this and there's a cat or kitten out there just waiting to receive your love and give it back to you 1000 times!!! Please do this!!!@😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aaawww 😢,that's so sad and I know I'll feel the same when my sweet Dill has lived to 20y!! Wow! Yet,at the same time? 20y is not enough and Pink felt so loved and loved you back SO much, she didn't want to leave...💕 One day, perhaps a cat may be in your future, when you're ready!!🙏 P.S. Please consider listening to cat purring, sleepy and licking ASMR videos, and perhaps it might help you to relax and get some well deserved rest 😊 I understand...grief is real.😢
My cat follows me into the bathroom, rolls around on my feet and does yoga while I’m using the toilet, and talks to me with deep eye contact the entire time (regardless of what I’m doing) I can’t even shut the door anymore. 😂❤
Same. One of my cats howls at the door if I should close it. The same cat won't eat at night unless I sit with her. She howls at me to get up. Usually four am.
My cat follows me into the bathroom, then stations himself between my leg and the doorway, keeping watch for any possible predators. He makes me feel protected when he does this. He is also more likely to eat if I sit with him in the kitchen, making sure no one can bother him. While there are no predators in my condo, if it makes him feel better/safer, I’m all for it!
Once, at my family farm, we had five cats. They were in-house cats, but we'd let them out whenever they wanted. On cold or rainy days, those same cats would snuggle with each other and us. All of our cats lived long and happy lives. We truly miss them. 😺🐈🐈⬛❤❤❤
@@kwilson5832 Point of you, but I don't have a mouse, I just use the touchpad. Sometimes even if I'm not working and leave it open he goes there and sleeps on the keyboard haha
I had three cats over a 31 year period....noticing cats go off by themselves to a quiet secluded spot to nap during the day, but would sleep on my bed at night. Something about the darkness triggered a vulnerability or insecurity in them that needed them to be near humans.
Both my cats sleep next to me. Often they climb under the covers with me. Other times they sleep in their cat beds on the bed. I’ve even woken up with one or both of them touching me. ❤
My Chongo cat always near me and touching me. I'd look at him and he'd give me the "kiss". He'd slowly blink his eyes at with his smiling eyes!❤❤❤ I literally ache missing him...💔
False premise. Cats do not sleep with you, you sleep with them. They are just making sure you are not so soundly asleep that a predator will get you. That would ruin their day and put in jeopardy their retirement plans. it's simple really.
We used to have a cat that would shift sleeping spots throughout the night, like clockwork. She made sure that every one of us in the family knew that she loved us, because we all got a turn with her. You could tell what time it was, by which person she slept with. And then, she always woke up my father, in the morning. She had an internal clock that was more accurate than his alarm clock. BUT she would only let him snooze three times. After that, she'd wander off in a huff, as if to say, "Don't blame ME if you're late." I miss her so.
My Calico Tortoiseshell little rescue cat has chosen to sleep on my bed, either next to me or at the foot of my bed. I know she loves the company and security of being near me. She came from the home of a old lady with Dementia, who was an animal Hoarder and didn’t know where all the kittens kept coming from. She was just a few months old when I got her from a Rescue Group and is the loveliest, sweetest, most gentle soul and I adore her.
I have an undercover & pillow cat; one that lays next to me & also loves the pillow; an independent one who sleeps in my closet yet pops into bed & lays near by; & my other pops into bed for a bit & prefers under bed too & special spots on the coach
Considering I was present at Little Miracle's birth and his mama's coach, it totally stands to reason that I am his human mama. I also have a little girl kitty who has been with me since she was born on my patio and is now a strictly indoor cat. We are quite the closeknit little family❤
I sleep hot, so the season has a lot to do with when and where my 3 sleep with me. Summer is "You're too hot. I'll find a cooler spot." Winter is "Bury me in blankets while I snuggle up to your furnace."
My cat Kimbah would walk onto my chest, lay down, kick out his back legs and slide down so that he was underneath my armpit and laying right next to me and he was on his back with all four paws sticking up in the air. Every night he would do that. It helped me to sleep more on my back then be a side sleeper.
My very last boy, slept across my neck or around the top of my head like a scarf. On my chest, or balanced on my side. I wouldn’t even feel him until I woke up. What a sweet gift he was. I miss him and all of them terribly, but they lived to be at least 17 years old, and still looked beautiful. Still thinking whether I should get another kitty. If I do, I will go to the shelter, there are so many darling creatures there that need to sleep on my head.
My cat always likes to sleep between my legs, resting her head and paws ON my legs (she likes to lean laying down). If I'm curled up, she'll sleep behind me, still leaning against me. Helps that I sleep really still.
I've gotten so accustomed to my cat being curled up behind my legs that I have trouble sleeping without him there. When she gone on vacation I've stuck a stuffed animal tiger back there!
My childhood cat "Puss" was white with a black spot on her head and a black tail. She looked like someone had been painting her tail and dropped some on her head. She originally belonged to my sister along with one of her siblings. Which died and then she was given to me. We had a nightly routine. She'd sleep with my parents for a while. Then she'd walk through the house meowing until I meowed back to her. Then she'd get under my knees and go to sleep. As an adult I had a grey tuxedo cat whom I taught to sleep on his back. I'd put my arm across him like he was a living teddybear and we'd go to sleep. Cat's never share your bed fairly. They may be smaller, but they know how to hog the bed.
i have had 3 cats in my life and only 1 wanted to sleep with me. All of my furry babies have been affectionate and have wanted a lot of love and attention. I am very affectionate and give my kitties a lot of love and they love it. I think some cats like their privacy and space. I respect their need for privacy and space. I know they want to be loved and given a lot of attention and affection which I am happy to give. I love cats so much.
I am one of those childless cat ladies, one of those cats’s slaves. My cat thinks she queen of the bed. She waits until I am settled for the night, jumps on the bed and settles behind my back, on the side of the bed. But in the middle of the night, if I wake up, she is often in the middle of the bed, all spread out, and me, unconsciously trying to stretch my legs as much as I can, and wherever I can.
Btw., I think we are their humans rather than that they are our cats. Not an original observation - but many cat "owners" (ie., cats' pets) would agree.
I have a cherished photo I took almost 20 years ago. I left a camera in my bedroom on purpose one evening just for the purpose of taking this photo. I had five, two girls and three boys at the time, and all five settled in with me at bedtime, each in their own specific location. I woke up around 2:00am, slid my way out of the bed, then photographed all of them in their spots for posterity. A prized location was between my legs, but on top of the sheet/blanket. Shortly after getting in bed, Harold would settle in, hoping that it would be his spot for the night. However, minutes later Buddy would get in bed. He'd just sit there and give Harold the stink eye, until with a grumble, Harold would give it up for Buddy. Buddy would then gracefully take over, and spend the rest of the night between my legs.
Another leg kitteh! My calico loves to nestle inbetween my legs if I don't have them tucked together. Otherwise, she has a throw on "her side" of the bed near my feet.
At night my cat would sleep at the bend in my knees. Once I caught him he had dug under my covers and then turned around and had his head on my pillow. A couple of times he fell asleep with my dog in doggie’s bed. I took these locations to mean that I was successful in telling him he was a loved member of the family.
My cats pretty much do all the above on any given day. My older one has a rotation of spots that is his fave for a couple days but always takes a nap on my lap a couple times everyday.
During the day sometimes and mostly during the winter my girl will sit next to the blanket and request to be "buried" (put under the blanket) and at night she sleeps on my spare pillow (her pillow). And last year when I was moving my dad suggested I get rid of my cats to save money and not have to worry about them. Which obviously on paper makes sense but they're my purpose! My babies are my daily dose of love and I had to go one night without them in the new place and I hated it! Not having them around feels so weird and lonely. So, all that to say they sleep wherever they want no matter what.
My Tabby cat who took her place across the rainbow bridge a few months ago always used to lay on the bed with me, and had a few favourite spots if I laid on my back she used to lay across my tummy where she could clearly watch my face, sometimes she would lay bedside me and use my arm as her pillow and her most favourite spot was me on my side and she would stretch out along my hip and we would fall asleep like that for hours x she would get in bed with me providing I kept the blanket up like it was her tent, I miss her fussy ways every day x
Lovely story. My two youngest (18 months) take turns sleeping on my chest. Both have a strange tendency to stretch a front paw repeatedly until they touch my face. Incredibly moving and tender.
As for my other cat sleeping with me on my lounger, cameras show that it's always his space, and in fact, he's just being willing to share "his lounger" with the person who feeds him.
I usually wake up with one under each arm. One on my pillow, one on my chest and another on my legs - trapped in one position. But I love my fur buddies. ❤ And as soon as I wake up they all come running for morning pets... and food.
I had 5 cats at one point and 2 of them were regular bed sleepers. 1 at my head grooming and kneading my hair, and the other in front of me and liked to be spooned. (I'm a side sleeper.) The rest would show up later on at night and all sleep in my with us. When my son was born, our largest cat, Sampson would often be found sleeping in the bassinet lol. The first time alarmed me, but he was so gentle with the baby I wasn't worried. I just moved him because he was too heavy for the bassinet. I still have no idea how he got in the room because we always shut the door, but hey you know. Cats 🥰🥰
My cat previously preferred sleeping on my shins with her head pillowed on my knees if I was on my back, or behind my knees if I was on my side, but lately she's discovered she can sleep with her head on my pillow and my arms wrapped around her.
I have 3 hairless cats. One sleeps by my ankles, one sleeps by my thighs/rump and one sleeps in my armpit area. All on different sides so I can’t move much at night LOL
I have a kitty 'mummy bag' style. All 6 lay along side me, both sides, Mouse is usually under the covers. Makes it a little squishy most nights, Sometimes I have to shift them a bit but they're usually back in place soon enough. Sweet babies🥰
At one time i had three rescues who would all sleep with me. One would drape herself over my head like a hat or under my chin like a scarf. One would snuggle up by my head and suck on my earlobe (lots of spit) . My orange boy slept around my legs or on my chest holding hands.
I recently adopted a stray and she does a little bit of everything you described. 😅 Mostly, she sleeps in the curve of body (I usually sleep in my side), next to my head, against my back, or a random spot in the house for a little bit.
Number 8!!! He loves his hidey spots!! A few weeks ago we were in bed, he was on the floor beside my bed and looking towards the door, I was chatting with him. When I was done, what does he do? He snubs me! He stands up, and walks towards my closet and just, jumps up on his storage bin spot. Like "I don't want to talk to you right now mom!" Lol guess he just wanted quiet. 😂😂 But he's a feet snuggler and a head snuggler. So, he will eat his bedtime snack, and leave, then come back and snuggle up to me before I lay down. Sometimes he will stay when I lay down, other times if I'm moving too much he will leave. Where does he go? To the chair in the living room that I sit on. He also loves that chair! He's just, chilling there staring out! And then he will come back in and lay back down on my bed with me! Then the morning time comes and when I wake up he will come up and lay down either besides my head/neck, or if I'm on my back he will lay on my chest/neck. Hims a good boy. But Hims is orange so he's got spice!!
My cat sleeps at the bottom of my bed occasionally. She often sleeps alone in another room. She doesn't like being picked up, and she often ignores me. Sometimes, I think she doesn't like me. Other times she's semi affectionate she's weird but i love her.
I've got 3 at the moment. During the day, each one migrates to their own spots around the house, but come my bedtime, all three have their spots around me or on me. My youngest female Tuxedo hugs my feet all night. My eldest female Cali sleeps immediately next me on her own perch. My male Ginger has this routine that he does every night. He'll end up in my lap till he thinks I'm asleep then goes about guarding the house. They're all different, but they love their daddy❣️😻😻😻
This is interesting. My cat was a stray cat and I adopted him from the shelter. He’s a foot warmer and a night crawler and these positions make sense because he probably had to be on high alert at all times.
My cat sleeps in different spots on my bed or sometimes not. In the morning he will gently put his paw on my nose to let me know he's probably hungry. He then goes into the "kneading routine" Sometimes after I scratch him all over his face and neck, he will lie down and snuggle next to me. Both my cats nap close to me during the day in their cat tree or chair when I am on my computer working. The female cat never comes into my bed. They are such a joy to have around as my little buddies.
My cat Holiday is a security seeker (he sometimes burrows under my blanket when I go to bed), an independent sleeper (only if I'm awake, he'll sleep on the couch behind me or in the chair next to me or on the floor under my desk), a foot warmer (kind of, he sleeps behind my legs or between my legs as close to my privates as possible lol), rotational sleeper (my bed, mine or my brother's PC chair, his cat tree, the couch)
I have four cats and they demonstrate almost all of these traits between them. The video explains this very well. After watching, i was reassured that my cats love and trust me, clearly showing it by their chosen method. It also appears that they're all very happy and feel safe in my house.
I am staying with my brother's family and they have 8 cats and they are all indoor/outdoor cats. Six of them like sleeping with me and 7 like sitting in my lap. There are also 2 small dogs that want to be next to me. They want to be touching me everytime they see me. 😂 I do talk to all of them and the 8th cat come close but wants to run and play. They sleep on me, at my head, and at my feet.
Mine encourages me to lay my arm straight so she can straddle my arm, she turns at a right angle, to make sure her head can rest comfortably on my arm and her body lay length wise against me...when she is comfortable we can sleep after a few communication of happy whispering meows.
I live with 3 who like to sleep at the foot of the bed, 1 who sleeps under a bed, 1 who sleeps in the crow's nest of the cat tree, and 1 who snuggles up to my daughter's back, but I didn't see my special cats' favorite spot listed. When he was about a year old, I had a false heart attack, diagnosed as a severe magnesium deficiency and was sent home. My cat, a ginger tabby male, started cuddling on my ribs, left side, right over my heart, purring until he fell asleep as if to try and heal me. 6 years later, that's where he always sleeps, even in hot summertime; I can't fall asleep without his little furry body tucked up against my left armpit and draped over my side. 😍😻❤❤❤❤
My 12 year old cat sleeps on his pillow that's to the right of my pillow on my bed, in my lap, on my chest or in the office on my dad's chair which isn't more than a few feet away from my bedroom. I'm happy to know that he loves me as much as I love him
My cat is Rotational 😅 she's not a lap sitter though, as I am a bit more endowed in the chest area, she likes to curl up there. Her favorite place to sleep, if im sleeping is under my neck or as close to my ears as I'll let her creep 😂 she is a very grown up girl of 4 and still likes to comfort nurse on my ears
My favorite cat sleeps mostly directly under me under the mattress but on top of the dust cover where he opened that section himself. I took him in as a stray kitten 2 yrs ago. Some nights he sleeps at my feet with his cat buddy. I actually think they take turns. ❤ they are very close.
Answered a few questions I needed to ask!! Thank you and now I know I have a cat that likes to play hide seek. He is well known for I guess you could call it pet pranks- very grateful though- and no matter what they end up calling the shots!
My cat loves to sleep either on my lap or at night up against my back. When it’s hot weather she will sleep where she can see me, near my feet or on the table next to my bed where I put a bed since it’s where the window is. The only time she sleeps elsewhere is when I visit my mom who has a cat who can’t climb very well. She likes to sleep up on her high boy next to the bed, so we put a bed up there. But when she jumps down she prefers to jump down on my body. When I’m working she mostly sleeps on my bed all day. But on occasions she will choose another bed around the house. She has a dozen or so. But over night she usually sleeps with me. If she doesn’t sleep all night, she will join me after I’ve fallen asleep so I always have to check before I move my body to turn over or ge5 up to pee.
When I go to bed one of my cats lies on my chest. A few minutes after I stop petting him he switches over to between my legs, where the other one also usually sleeps. In the morning the other one keeps pawing at the side of my blanket until I turn on my side, lift the blanket and let him snuggle next to me. The other one then transfers to the crook of my knees.
My cat used to sleep with me but now she prefers to spend most of her time on the screened porch. Especially at night. It took her a couple of years to really settle in. She had spent about 3 years with her previous family. I wish she would sleep with me again. I found it very relaxing.
On top of my side, on my pillow either beside or above my head, at my feet on top of them. To be honest so long as they can touch me somewhere on my body they are happy
Our rescue cat started with sleeping with my daughter but now sleeps in different places throughout the night and day, also change spots after every wake/toilet/snack breaks. She wanted a cat so when we went to get him, we purposely used her baby blanket for the carrier but she doesn't play with him, only cat-nap him for cuddles and I think he got annoyed so he started sleeping on bathroom mat to start his night. Sometimes, he takes over my bed at night while I'm working at my desk next to my bed until I go to bed but I think he sleeps on my bed cos it's big and has a throw over it so he could easily stretch out comfortably. As long as he's healthy and happy, I don't mind where.
My boy cat does all of those things. He's currently on the bed by himself, while I'm in the other room, he's staked his spot for the night, I'll have to sneak into bed and sleep on the edge of the bed, cos it's his bed not mine. ❤
My boy first sits on the window sill above the bed, then goes to get a snack of kibble. Then chooses a sleep place, the chair near the bed, or a couch in a smaller bedroom down the hall. He comes back in to share the bed and may want to be under the covers. ❤
I have 4 cats, each an individual. My Lux, 6 yrs old @ 12+#, chose all of the above. It seams to very. His favorite places, my lap, in the small of my back, on my legs, and the cat bed on the wall directly over my head. He will make other cats move if one is in my lap. I have a small dog, 6 yrs @ 8+#, she is the only one he dose mot force to move. He and my dog are buddies, born 3 days apart. If my dog is laying were he wants to lay down, he will curl up next to her.
I use to think it was just the warmth my cat was after. At night, he will ignore his heated brick in favour of getting as close to my legs as possible, so more a safety thing.
I have a Turkish Angora, 3 years old. At night, she likes to sleep aligned with my outstretched arm. She wraps all 4 legs around my arm and pulls me close. Then, she starts snuggling on the softest skin just below my underarm. She nuzzles there, pushing gently as if encouraging my arm to give her milk! I also have a 21 lb manx. He looks and walks like a bulldog. He likes to lay flat on my chest, licking my chin gently. After a short time his weight is too much so I roll him over and he sleeps then for hours with his head supported by my upper arm, as would a baby of several months. He especially loves it when I tuck the covers around him as I roll him over. During the day he gives me gentle kitty kisses on my chin or the end of my nose.
My cat sleeps on my pillow at night. He’s been known to even place his paw on my face. He spends many times on my lap or sometimes chooses my said of the bed when it is daytime☺️. He is definitely my baby. ❤❤❤(for 16 years now)
My cat likes to snuggle on me till I fall asleep, and then he takes himself downstairs and sleeps on his bed in the living room and when I wake up he comes and jumps on my bed and greets me.
All of our cats enjoy sleeping beside us or in our laps, but my cat Mylo comes to bed with me and curls up behind my knees as I sleep on my side. Love him ❤
My cat was a back snuggler. I miss him. He's been gone almost 30 years, and I still think about him. Dogs were terrified of him, but me and him. We were good.
my kitty is too!

30 years ago? and no replacement?

Same. I'll have a clowder of thiccen nuggets waiting at the door.
Once, at my family farm, we had five cats. They were in-house cats, but we'd let them out whenever they wanted. On cold or rainy days, those same cats would snuggle with each other and us. All of our cats lived long and happy lives. We truly miss them. 😺🐈🐈⬛❤❤❤
It sounds like your cats had very pleasant lives on the farm.
@@Jack_Callcott_AU - Yes, indeed! We kept them well-fed, safe and healthy. All of them lived very long lives. Many thanks. Cheers. 🐈🐈🐈🐈⬛🐈⬛
You missed a spot, sleeping on my laptop while i'm working! 😂
💯😅
It's probably so that it's ready to pounce on your mouse if necessary! The video suggests that cats are always alert, even when they're sleeping.
@@kwilson5832 Point of you, but I don't have a mouse, I just use the touchpad. Sometimes even if I'm not working and leave it open he goes there and sleeps on the keyboard haha
Yes. They know it will get your undivided attention.
Or in general the space you are using.
I had three cats over a 31 year period....noticing cats go off by themselves to a quiet secluded spot to nap during the day, but would sleep on my bed at night. Something about the darkness triggered a vulnerability or insecurity in them that needed them to be near humans.
Might not have been that they felt vulnerable or insecure but that they thought you were vulnerable since you sleep so long.
More that they want to protect you or that you are warm.
@@6Jillybeans my cat runs to me when the birds outside make noise…. She’s definitely with me for the warms and not to protect me 😂
They are little heat leaches. When you sleep you are a goldmine of warmth.
My previous cat used to drape herself across my neck like a scarf at night.
I miss my baby girl.
My lil boy does this! I can't bear that I'll lose him some day.
She loved you a lot, then!
@@LazyIRanch It was mutual! =^_^=
@@MrNoucfeanor At least your cat didn't sit on your face while sleeping, lol!
@@moonfire41 =P
Both my cats sleep next to me. Often they climb under the covers with me. Other times they sleep in their cat beds on the bed. I’ve even woken up with one or both of them touching me. ❤
❤️❤️
Precious 😻❤️
Sounds nice. 😌 What do mean you’ve woken up with one or both of them touching you? 😅
@@Emily_HurleyIf they are like my cats, they will sleep close by, and have at least one paw reached out to touch you as they lay there.
My Chongo cat always near me and touching me. I'd look at him and he'd give me the "kiss". He'd slowly blink his eyes at with his smiling eyes!❤❤❤
I literally ache missing him...💔
False premise. Cats do not sleep with you, you sleep with them. They are just making sure you are not so soundly asleep that a predator will get you. That would ruin their day and put in jeopardy their retirement plans. it's simple really.
That’s because if a predator does get you who’s going to operate the can opener?
@@peterbuckley3877and scoop the 💩 😊
Oh so true.
And when they run races across you in the morning that means you've overslept and it's you're late getting up to feed them their breakfast!
That's true😂 lovely cats ❤
We used to have a cat that would shift sleeping spots throughout the night, like clockwork. She made sure that every one of us in the family knew that she loved us, because we all got a turn with her. You could tell what time it was, by which person she slept with.
And then, she always woke up my father, in the morning. She had an internal clock that was more accurate than his alarm clock. BUT she would only let him snooze three times. After that, she'd wander off in a huff, as if to say, "Don't blame ME if you're late."
I miss her so.
My Calico Tortoiseshell little rescue cat has chosen to sleep on my bed, either next to me or at the foot of my bed. I know she
loves the company and security of being near me. She came from the home of a old lady with Dementia, who was an animal
Hoarder and didn’t know where all the kittens kept coming from. She was just a few months old when I got her from a Rescue
Group and is the loveliest, sweetest, most gentle soul and I adore her.
I want to tear because it is the highest honor….to have them always around me…nothing beats them.
This video is so true! I love my 2 cats especially my orange cat who sleeps right next to my side almost every night!!
My cats tend to dig their claws in me when they're curled up against my back 😭
My Purdey does this but Bovril either sleeps in the bathroom or in cold weather on the bed by my feet! Purdey is Bovril' s daughter.
Watching this not for the information, but to revel in the fact that my kitties are as obsessed with me as I am with them.
Lol...me, too 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Im lying down watching this while my cat is sleeping against me by my shoulder😊
Btw., I think we are their humans rather than that they are our cats. Not an original observation - but many cat "owners" (ie., cats' pets) would agree.
My cat used to make biscuits and give head bumps…. He hates it when I cough and gets very angry with me..,.@😢
Yeap! We belong to them.
Cats are never owned....they have servants
Garrison Keillor of the radio show would say ‘Dogs have owners, cats have staff.’
Years ago, I read a bumper sticker...... Dogs have masters, and cats have staff 😊.
Brilliant documentary. I have two loving cats of my own and a wild cat that lives with us. Every comment you made was spot-on.
I have several sleeping areas ark ND the house-- including on the bed-- and she picks a spot depending on her mood. Glad you're happy, Nala
I usually wake up with one under each arm. One on my pillow, one on my chest and another on my legs - trapped in one position. But I love my fur buddies. ❤ And as soon as I wake up they all come running for morning pets... and food.
Mine each has their own favorite spot, then i guess they need a change of scenery and rotate. Good cuddlers!
Thank you for this lovely and informative content. Great narrative too (not annoying like some videos). Well done 🐾🐮🐈⬛🐈
Mine used to tuck in behind my knees.
That's where my kitty sleeps 💤
My kitten does that as well.
My old cat was a pillow thief as a kitten. That's a preference he never grew out of, so I often had a fur cap with the occasional impromptu bath.
I love your channel!!! Always watch or listen when one pops up. Ill subscribe now, thx!!
Excellent content. Thank you 🐈⬛🐾
My ginger cat, Eddie, is a security seeker, and my kitten, Matewis, is a rotator, but he likes to sleep in the curve behind my knees at night time.
Number 8!!! He loves his hidey spots!! A few weeks ago we were in bed, he was on the floor beside my bed and looking towards the door, I was chatting with him. When I was done, what does he do? He snubs me! He stands up, and walks towards my closet and just, jumps up on his storage bin spot. Like
"I don't want to talk to you right now mom!" Lol guess he just wanted quiet. 😂😂
But he's a feet snuggler and a head snuggler.
My cat sleep on me all around me in his cat tree in my room too he is free to sleep where ever he wants
This is interesting. My cat was a stray cat and I adopted him from the shelter. He’s a foot warmer and a night crawler and these positions make sense because he probably had to be on high alert at all times.
Woke up early. Watched this video with my cat on my pillow. 😊
I have 2 cats, both of them sleep at the head of my bed, one on the left, the other on the right, and me in the middle!
My cat sleeps next to me on my bed. As she ages she’s a bit more clingy. She’s a rescue kitty- I’ve had her almost 12 years.
Chao slept on my pillow almost on my head! I miss him so much!😢
Mine encourages me to lay my arm straight so she can straddle my arm, she turns at a right angle, to make sure her head can rest comfortably on my arm and her body lay length wise against me...when she is comfortable we can sleep after a few communication of happy whispering meows.
Same here ❤
My kitty Lucy loves to wool suck a certain bed shirt I have. She's 2. I think it's a comfort thing for her and me.❤
I live with 3 who like to sleep at the foot of the bed, 1 who sleeps under a bed, 1 who sleeps in the crow's nest of the cat tree, and 1 who snuggles up to my daughter's back, but I didn't see my special cats' favorite spot listed.
My cat sleeps on my pants! Specifically, the jeans at the foot of my bed that I'm going to wear again the next day.
My big ole baby Standard Poodle sleeps with me every night UNTIL I dare to move. You do not disturb him!
My cat with throw her head and a paw over my arm as we slept. And when I tried to get up, she would whine and try to hold me down with her paw.
I have 1 cat that sleeps by my feet 🐾 and 1 that loves to lay on top the covers between my legs by my knees to sleep 🐾🐾
I am a side sleeper and often wake up with my cat stretched out along my hip.
my cat sleeps at my feet so he can make a quick getaway? and here I thought it was so he could defend me.
My cats sleeps on my shoulder ❤ he's a Toyger kitten, and the most loving cat I've had. I highly recommend
Both my girls cannot get too close. They try to sleep on my neck and face. Very, very intense.....😊
I use to think it was just the warmth my cat was after. At night, he will ignore his heated brick in favour of getting as close to my legs as possible, so more a safety thing.
All of these cats in the video are so precious!! I want to adopt them all!
My Cleo is a very comfortable kitty. He is in my lap right now. It’s his house he just lets us live here 😂
All of our cats enjoy sleeping beside us or in our laps, but my cat Mylo comes to bed with me and curls up behind my knees as I sleep on my side. Love him ❤
my russian blue 1 yr old puts his paw in my mouth when i’m sleeping 😂😂😂 im like WHAT ARE YOU DOIN!! 🤣 nasty
Lol 🤣🤣
