1)Availability for all networks would be great. In my experience, even Rivian’s own is not live. I pulled into one where it said 1 was occupied, but there were two Rivian’s there. No problem and nice people, but I was surprised the occupancy data was not live.
    2) When availability info is in there, what will they do with the info? Would they change the route while underway to send you to a different chargers if the original one was full?
    3) Plug & charge for Rivian’s own and EVGo is great. Bring to all!
    4) it would be great to know what “arrival SOC” rivian is using for its planned charging stops. I think it’s too conservative for “out of spec”-style road tripping experts, but is probably ok for new comers.
    5) I’d like to know more about how the preconditioning logic works. I’m sure it’s battery temp focused, but what range are they shooting for?
    6) Also, if you pass up a suggested charging stop b/c you know you can make the next one with a few pts of SOC remaining, is the vehicle considering that low arrival SOC at the new destination when it kicks in preconditioning for the new destination? That happened to me once and ended my route in the nav because I was afraid I wouldn’t make it. (I did make it).
    7) yes, multi-stops, please!
    8) I find the rivian trip length estimates to be conservative. Must be how I drive relative to posted limits. Waze seems to learn this and I’ve had very accurate estimates with Waze.
    9) Waze seems to have better traffic info, too.
    10) if rivian could pass live vehicle info to ABRP (eg. Recent mi/kW), that would be great… or integrate that live data into the in-vehicle nav.
    11) last, the range and SOC remaining estimates in the Nav system (center display) are way more accurate than the remaining range indicated on the driver display! I think Rivian’s nav shows a lot of promise. Today, people would be well served to check the chargers ahead of time on plug share. I’m still waiting for the “rate your charge” app, too! I really hope OOS is working on that!
    Great video.

Live data on availability of charging stations is paramount. If the route planner doesn’t knows that, there is the risk it routs you to a station which is broken.
Also, to avoid queuing, it could leverage usage data to reduce the probability of stopping at a place which is occupied.

Would also like to see range to final destination, in addition to range to next charging location.

Can you guys do a video on the updated Apple Maps? I haven't gone on an extended enough road trip yet but I notice now that in my Mach-E it get my battery percentage & predicted percentage at my destination now. I also put in a route from DC to Chicago just to see how it would calculate that route & they add in all the charging stops. What I don't know is this just for Ford & Lincoln or does this rout planning work in all EVs. I know that Apple & Ford have an agreement where at some point CarPlay will be able to show up on all the screens but I was curious about maps just in case I'm somewhere & I rent an EV that isn't a Ford.

It doesn’t work in all EVs yet- currently just Taycan and Mach E :(

Are there usually rest areas in the charging locations to get food while you wait?
