7 THINGS TO EAT & DO in MACAO | Hong Kong to Macau Day Trip Travel Vlog!
A long friendship of 500 years with Portugal!
A hug.
💗🌿💗🌿💗
Hey Janice,
Awesome film. Loved it.
Am so looking forward to getting back to HK and Macau soon.
Food looks awesome
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Great video as usual Janice,
Portuguese tart & pork bun a must have when in Macao
The pastries are pretty good too.
Did you have Portuguese Chicken ? That's also a highly recommended dish there
I find it rather amusing that there's a top-rated restaurant on the street when I grew up. I lived in the building right across from the school. I mainly remember the giant mount of garbage at the end of the street. Left the city in the 80's. A lot has changed.
Omg the food looked DELICIOUS I love the egg tart and the pork jerky so yummy ..I love all different food in the different areas ..Such a great video beautiful Janice …x❤️🥰💕
Thank you so much Irena! 💛
Loved this vid!
a great one..... many things you showed i'd like to try out...
Ahh makes me miss Macau!
Have fun in the Macau 🇲🇴 Enjoy the food
Thanks Stanley!
Welcome to Macau. I hope you have a good trip. Amazing. I love Macau
My friend had a chance to visit this place in 2019 when he was in Hong Kong to try some dishes and take pictures. He said that it was a great experience 😊
Always interesting and informative and entertaining to watch
Thanks Michael!
Such a good food hub 😍 I need to visit one day!!!
Macau is awesome I always think about my holiday there
it's been so long since I've been back, what other places do you really like?
hopefully there aren't that many people next time I go back
All of the food looked so good.
Thanks for watching Grace!
Very beautiful vlog 😊thanks.
Thanks John!
love your channel from Sydney too
Thanks for watching!
I hope to get back to Macau someday. The food is so good. I wish my chemo would hurry up and do it’s job! 😂
Hope you get to try the Portuguese food in Petersham some day. The dishes that you tried in Macao look a bit fusion rather than authentic Portuguese food.
I never really thought about visiting Macau but now I am very intrigued about this place. Especially since they have Portuguese egg tarts. My favorite. I used to have one of the best Portuguese bakery in town close to my house but unfortunately, the place burnt down. They never reopened. Their egg tarts were to die for... Thanks for the new address to try!
4:19. You didn't say it but I am sure that your fried rice is better! 😉🤣
hahaha I prefer more stuff in my fried rice, I just felt like that one.. the rice to non rice items was a bit off
Gotta get the “pineapple pork chop bao”! It’s a hole in the wall but truly the best! And fresh fruit mochi. 🙌✌️
Ooooh thanks so much for the rec !
I wanna eat ALL the Portugese tarts! Wild to see a Uniqlo within those heritage buildings.
Yooo let’s do a petersham food day
How does the Portuguese tarts compare to H.K. daan-ta? The dinner restaurant looked very inviting. All of the foods worked except for the offal. Not a fan. Nice visit to Macau. Thank you enjoyed vlog.
Great vlog thanks
Thanks for watching !
Wow look at the bone of the pork chop bun
Wow the fare is much more cheaper than the ferry before and no more motion sickness
Oh it’s been so long I don’t rmb how much they cost anymore - how much was a ferry fare previously?
Wow, so nice, yummy❤
Thanks for watching !
I like your videos
Welcome you to Macao, but I’m quite disappointed that couldn’t run into you in Macao 😂. Hope you enjoy the food in Macao😊
Thank youuu! What are your go to spots in Macau??
Nice intro to macau. There are still many great places to eat there. Birds nest tarts are pretty good. Hope you brought back a can of porthos sardines in chilli oil.
Oooo Where do you get that?
@Janice Fung birds nest tarts should be back streets, along TV. Da gloria. An old school bakery/ Cafe. I believe you were close when you visited taipa. Porthos sardines, any supermarket. Goes well with cup ramen or plain congee. Macau changes constantly but a lot remains the same. Many more places to eat many stories to tell.
That seafood rice looks equally dubious and delicious at the same time 😂
Hahaha 🤣
Is the bus cheaper than the ferry?
6:26 aw... Janice. U .... u didn't get / buy the shop behind you... it's very famous for the almond cookie..sigh😢
Which is convenient vis ferry or bus going to macao….?
Did you overnight in Macau or take the bus back? How late do the busses run?
Mariazinha is pronounced Maria-zeen-ya btw. It means "litte Maria" in Portuguese.
The seafood rice remaind me of a Brazilian dish called Moqueca. It doesn't have rice though. Perhaps there is a link though the shared Portuguese influence.
Oh, and just let me know where you want to fly from and I'll pick you up in my Gulfstream G7 😋I wish...
Didn’t stay overnight, we took the bus back. Pretty sure these buses are 24/7!
good video
Cheers Joseph!
Oh Yum Love Pork Jerky....
Me tooooo
@@JaniceFung Pity we can't bring it back to OZ. Macau is renowned for Almond Cookie.... and egg tart.
I have that same feeling when I see a long line 😂
Hahah yeah! I just get so curious about WHY everyone’s lining up lol
Lah... I like your cantonese kkk
Oh man, guess we just have to head over to Kowloon Cafe and dream of the stuff you're having here. But I bet our Petersham Natas are still better than those ones you have ;)
It’s been a while since I’ve been to natas at petersham - will have to go back and refresh my memory on it 😉
@@JaniceFung Do it!! We'll shout you natas if we can pick your brain on dim sum!
My job is to: eat eat eat 😂
Flasher at 2:02
9:50 Actually, it said President Marcelo De Sousa and not the Prime Minister.
Awww you didn’t try Galinha à africana Chicken!! 非洲鸡
Next time 😌
Actually where would you be able to try that! Do you have a restaurant rec ?
It sadness me that you don’t post weekly anymore… 😢
Got it
I hope that 50$ for seafood rice was a typo
10:11 too much definition 😂
from nepal

🙏🙏🙏
I thought you can't take milk. If I take milk I will be dead LOL
Colonisation isn't a beautiful thing g to celebrate. Chinese culture is so amazing I walked away from anything Portuguese in macau 🇲🇴. I am visiting China to feel its culture and spirit .
🐀🐀 They just want you to pet them 🤣🤣🙂
Yikes
Dream big a private jet
Manifest your future
Great food blog
I'm into organs
😂😂😂
A A A @RamenRaff would say letttttsssssss gooooooooo
lol 100%
i think u are too complimentary...i did not find any of the foods spectacular..looked like the average food u can get almost anywhere in China, Hong Kong and we even have the same foods in canada.albeit a little cheaper...plus i was not too impressed with the meat or beef mixture u had......looked like rubber soaked in the usual residual oil and grease remnants of cooking pork..and plus i am not the type of person who likes to wait in lines...so i guess Macao is out of my travel plans
