Hello. Thank you so much for your video. It was really helpful when I assembled it. Now, I have to move and disassembly it. Do you have any tips and useful tools, as a specific hammer, or do you have any video? Thank you again
All I had to do was switch the long boards to the other side of the bed. Fit them in such a way that there is a slight overhang (protruding off the bed).
Tricky part is here at 6:26. You have to make the edge come out a little on the outside of the frame to match the drawers otherwise you can't continue. I missed it in the guide and went nuts.
Hey I have a question. I've seen some reviews that say that the mattress dips in the middle because of the wooden slats. Do you experience that? And downsides you've experienced so far sleeping on it?
As long as you don't jump from above, it won't break due to the thickness of the mattress. If it's uncomfortable... It's a bit unfortunate that there is no bed head.
If you used to assemble yourself, it would be difficult to disassemble. On the contrary, if you did not assemble yourself and do not have a manual, it would be difficult to assemble after disassembly. When disassembling, be sure to record it as a video.
Do you think the packaging could fit inside a midsize sedan, like a Nissan Altima? I got to drive quite a bit to get to the IKEA store, so I just want to get an idea if it can fit in my car or should I rent a U-Haul or something.
I need to move the bed and it's super heavy. The drawers seem to be locked in place. Is there a technique for removing the drawers? They don't seem to slide out the way other IKEA drawers do. Thanks
I recently moved and I got my drawers apart somewhat but they still ended up getting a bit messed up. Are you having trouble getting them out of the bed frame?
Hi, im moving out and i have this bed, i already took out the drawers but i was wondering if i can block the metal system soo when i put the bed on the side they dont come out?
@@twist8077 There's 2 switches in the metal rails that you can close and open, you just open them and you take the drawer out... and for moving out the whole structure my solution was putting small pieces of cardboard in each rail to stop the system to work soo the metal rails won't come out when handleling the whole bed (without drawers)
Hi! I just got this bed and after putting most of it together have found that the middle boards don't fit... did they send me the wrong size or did I do something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated
We assembled it yesterday and have the same problem as others mentioned. In the last step where the piece goes in front of the bed and back doesn't fit. it’s too long
If you move only the location in the same space, you need to move it little by little, but it is better to reassemble after partial disassembly to move to another space.
When inserting the drawer, make sure it fits properly in the hole and is well filled until the locking mechanism sounds. Also, remove the drawer and check that the rails are attached properly.
Yeah….I just paid $120 to get an experienced person to come put it together. Definitely worth it since I saved $1800 versus the other bed I was looking at.
hello, im looking at the measurements of the bed frame and it says the height is 11". Do you find that the bed is on the shorter side with mattress on top?
Hi! Nice video, i just bought this bed aswell, do you think that there is a chance that i can drill a hole in the vertical part that supports the head? so that i can put a multi-socket power strip inside and central of the head space in the bed? i'm having problems to find a way that i can have electricity in both sides without being a fire hazard, and still dont show too much cables Thank you very much if you respond :)
Is there an adjustable bed base that can be installed with this bed and if so what adjustable bed base brand do you recommend for an Nordle storage frame that is queen size?

Thank you for sharing this video! I bought the same bed and you help me a lot👏🏻🙂
9:21 These two center boards are too long on mine. They don't fit in between. I have no idea what I could've done wrong.
All I had to do was switch the long boards to the other side of the bed. Fit them in such a way that there is a slight overhang (protruding off the bed).
@@spicerc1244 I have the same problem right now. Were you able to find the solution ?
Having trouble putting the drawers equal I switched ajusted them some are ok but not all 6 of them close perfectly any tips for me? Thank you!!!
What did you use for a headboard? Is that headboard IKEA?
9.16 small sideboards are too long. Try to switch sides. Did not work😭

Why is Ikea alergic to making clear instructions?

Hi, my drawers are not soft closing. They don’t go in smoothly as you push them to close… they seem to block at the end
Same
I’m wondering if you have to move how easy or difficult is to disassemble for moving. Any advice?

I think it's hard.
A loading space of 2 meters or more is required. Most SUV vehicles cannot be loaded because of the seat.
We got it and headboard 7 boxes into a Prius V with the back seat down and longest 2 boxes sticking on to center console
Did it in a golf

I think I mean drawer rails.
If you don't need it, loosen the screw and remove it. You only need to loosen two per rail.
How did you remove the drawers

@@Carlosalva123 Where are the switches?
Hi question! How high do you think it would be if I would use both the box spring & mattress?
Wouldn't it rise to about 70~80cm in height?
What was the size of your mattress btw?
Is it possible to drill the bed slat onto the bed frame so the slats don’t fall off?
Whether or not it can be penetrated will have to be determined on the spot to find out.
Completed this today, the video was super helpful, thanks very much

If it's a middle board, what are you talking about? We can help you with specific information.
@@hejsseopikeaassembly4531 sorry! I figured it out, I just had to go to reddit. The middle boards that hold up the mattress
We assembled it yesterday and have the same problem as others mentioned. In the last step where the piece goes in front of the bed and back doesn't fit. it’s too long
We installed the bed yeaterday and it fits. Try flipping it.
Have you solved this issue? I got the same problem
so peaceful to watch ikea assembly videos
What does it mean?? Are you sleepy?
did you wake up yet
It was kind of late 😂 ..Awake!
is it heavy to move once assembled? would you have to take it completely apart to move it to a new location?
2-3 people should be able to move it although it’s quite heavy. I moved it around my apartment alone if that helps.
If you move only the location in the same space, you need to move it little by little, but it is better to reassemble after partial disassembly to move to another space.
can i download the manual of this ikea product any pdf available?
hi. how long did it take you to mount it
What size is that bed?? Thanks
It is 180cm x 200cm.
One of my drawers is flush with the one next to it so when I try to open and close them they get stuck together. Is there a way to fix this?
When inserting the drawer, make sure it fits properly in the hole and is well filled until the locking mechanism sounds.

I’m unable to get the drawers in.
3:20 how…
I wish you can help me with mine
I bought the same bed, queen size 2 days ago
And I couldn’t assemble it till now..
I feel so stupid
Is there a manual? You can do it step by step.
I also looked at the manual first.
👍🏻 How long did all that take in real time?
As a guide, it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
@@hejsseopikeaassembly4531 Wow! That’s much quicker than I thought it would be 👍🏻
Took myself and someone else 5 hours
@@d4rcym Sounds more realistic. Thanks 😊

Great video! Thanks for sharing. Can one be stacked on top of another? Having two beds vertically to save space.
Holly molly it took me around 4h to mount this bed ( 30 min drawers calibration until I figure out how it works) .
Time doesn't matter. It is a success if you assemble it carefully.
im not sure why but the last step where the piece goes in front of the bed and back dosent fit it’s too long
@9:28 what im talking about yours fits in nicely mine is too long and dosent fit it
I have the same problem and ikea said watch this video and I still don’t understand it
@@Rebel8280s yeah i have no idea what happened something went wrong i had to end up cutting it to make it fit
How do you open the drawer next to the wall?
Don't put it on the wall when you first place it. You must have space for drawer rows. If you don't have space, give up one drawer.
can i use a box spring with this or would that be too ouch
much *
To much
It can be used, but isn't it too high?
It took me 3hrs to put this together.
This was super helpful.
hello, im looking at the measurements of the bed frame and it says the height is 11". Do you find that the bed is on the shorter side with mattress on top?
I'm not sure what the shorter one is.
The Nordley bed has no distinction between head and leg.
Just put on the mattress and use it.
Great video! Does the mattress stay in place? Bcz I think there is no bed edges around it .. thanks
Non-slip taping is attached to prevent the mattress from moving.
Thank you.
Any update on the non-slip tape and the mattress sliding off...this is my biggest concern
Doesnt the matress slide off?
Anti-slip tape is attached to the bed to prevent slipping.
What tools did you use??
Basically necessary tools are electric screwdriver, hammer, flat head screwdriver, cross screwdriver, hexagon wrench, etc.
Hell is me having to assemble this day after day
Hi! Does the mattress slide around a lot since theres nothing keeping in stationary?
Mattress anti-slip tape is attached.
Thank you, perfect!

Thank you very much if you respond :)
Even if you drill a hole in the lower part of the head, it seems no problem. It is also possible because the space under the bed is also empty.
Good work! Thank you!
Thank you!
Can you assemble this without tools?/ Do tools come in the boxes when you buy it?
You can.
But it's going to be really, really hard. Be sure to use the tools
best Video available on UA-cam for this specific Bed, Thank you for Uploading, Peace
Did the wood slats come with it, or sold separately?
What board are you talking about? All parts are included in the video.
Is there an adjustable bed base that can be installed with this bed and if so what adjustable bed base brand do you recommend for an Nordle storage frame that is queen size?
We only know IKEA products, so we don't know about other brands.

Good job

super.
thanks for the video thumbs up!!!!!!!!! Peter
Thank you.

Bad choice of bed. Lots of work to assemble it. And I bet double the time to dismantle it if you plan to move.
What is the point of this video? It goes too fast and has too much of an obstruction for it to be helpful.
background music is awful
How far apart are the slats? More than 2 inches?
