Nick, I can no longer deny the fact that you singlehandedly re awakened my love for this series. For years, I've just felt indifferent or bitter towards this series because I didn't like the way it turned out, and to an extent, I still am not a fan of the later arcs, but these videos exploring the details, or ranking groups or whatever have brought out that old flame in me. I believe that humans actually did always possess trace amounts of chakra just from existing on a planet with chakra and eating food produced by said chakra-abundant planet. Kind of like Ki in DB, where everyone has at least trace amounts, I believe chakra is the same way. Kaguya and Hagoromo merely gave humans access to far more chakra than they normally had, enough to be able to perform supernatural feats like breathing Fire or manipulating Wind. We know the toads already had Sage Mode and senjutsu, so chakra wasn't entirely unknown by Earth's inhabitants.
I love how the Chakra Fruit is super similar to the Fruit of the Tree of Might. Now imagine if Turles and the Otsutsuki worked together to create a hybrid fruit.

Yup ki is a far more iconic and any ki users can learn any ki techniques instead of being limited to bloodline and affinity due to your breeding or such nonsense. You are only limited to your hard work and ingenuity with ki with very few exceptions. Where as in naruto, if you aren't the reincarnation of some god or have a god inside you or godly eye balls or some godly bloodline/special power, you are trash with very few exceptions.

Your race gives you a huge advantage on your affinity for ki and it's potential for growth.
The only argument I think can be made that this isn't the case is if you were to say that maybe the reason for that is because certain planets culture revolves much more around combat and survival than the majority of earthlings.
But regardless we clearly see that being a saiyan pretty much gives you the most potential for ki affinity and growth.

The combination between physical and spiritual energy are similar to the electrical systems, the 2 phase system such as, dryers, electric stoves, and large AC units.
As for the combination of physical, spiritual, and nature energy it is the equivalent of the 3 phase system such as, escalators, heavy duty conveyer belts, and industrial grade machinery in general.
NcHammer I have an INTERESTING question for you, could the Nara clan control Black Zetsu? Black Zetsu for all tense and purposes is a shadow (which may explain why hes able to control people) and the Nara Clan has the ability to control shadows.

Yeah might guy literally explains this to kisame during their fight. Part of the reason kisame thought he had that fight in the bag was because Guy's blue aura looked like a chakra cloak. Also the other ninja comment on how stinky guy is due to the sweat lol.

@@livingashtree1942 But very likely too. He had a lot of experience already as a shinobi, but I think everything he went through also affected him in a way that may have perturbated his spiritual energy.
His physical one was doing just fine, the guy can even spare with Might Guy who likely, with how much he trains have like, a ridiculous amount of physical energy, but Kakashi, because of his grief, guilt and all this, may have subconsciously nerfed himself when it comes to his spiritual energy, compared to what he could actually do. (mental buff/debuff are a thing in Naruto, after all, just like physical ones)
@orianefaton1885 Very nicely put. To be clear, experience itself also actually contributes to Chakra growth of a Shinobi, his spiritual energy. Yes, i agree that he already had ALOT of experience as a Shinobi before, but never before did he ever experience a something like that of the 4th Great Shinobi War, which from my judgement really pushed him to the brink of his limits.
And the way you guys put it out, it does makes total sense that after the War after having finally resolved his past with characters like his Father, Minato and Obito for his Spiritual side to have benefited from it allowing him to grow further as a person.
I got a genuine question about Baryon mode chakra destruction. Wouldn't it have been way more efficient if Naruto grappled Ishiki during their fight having a constant chakra destruction imbued into him? While a punch is a slight touch basically which is very short, grappling somebody for like 5-10 seconds I feel like would do way more damage in that mode. I don't recall being stated that a punch can enhance the chakra destruction aspect of Baryon mode.
Kishimoto borrowed the idea of chakra heavily from TCM. We literally have all of these elements within our own body (wuxing) which can be manipulated through physical application (qi gong, tai chi)=yin (absorbed thought kd-1) and yang energy through meditation and intention (directed out of yin-tang+du-20). The other elements are simply combinations of yin-yang. As an acupuncturist I get to balance patients qi everyday using my own qi which I direct through needs or via Earth's qi.via herbs

I don't quite know what it is, but I could listen to this guy talk about something all day. It's just something about the way he talks.
Also, something that a lot of people seems to be confused about is that shinobi can only use an elemental Jutsu that they have an affinity for, and in order to use others they must unlock that elemental chakra as well. But that is not the case, having an affinity simply means you are better and more profecient in that type of Jutsu, such as Lightning. Having a Lightning affinity means you are better at using Lightning style Jutsu, you master them faster, you use less Chakra, and you might even be able to use less hand signs when performing the jutsus. But you are still capable of using the other four elemental jutsus, you just want be as good with those.

Nice vid random thought since you said let’s start at the beginning it made me think if they do decide to make a Naruto chronicles where they say the story of past Ninjas we want to know more about like Fugaku or Minato they should do it from the perspective of someone who has been there from the very beginning like either from the shadows like Jigen/Isshiki or from like a all knowing perspective like god aka Shibia lol idk just a random thought.
6:57 and this is what borders me in the new narrative. Everyone has chakra, it’s the life-force. The Divine Tree Fruit or the egregore that Hagoromo shared with others is only an addition, not the basis for chakra system in humans.

The hand signs are basically just a focusing tool for molding their chakra, and technically, they aren't needed at all sometimes, it's just not realistic for absolutely anyone to train to do that, or expect to ever get the ability to do that, even with orochimaru's immortality

I think it will turn out that the Jogan gives the power of omnipotence. I think the Jogan will give the ability to use the abilities of every single other dojutsu and it will make your will a reality. I think that's why the Otstosukis have such a hard on trying to awaken it. I think it would be cool to have it written that Boruto will struggle trying to obtain more chakra to properly use it.

All this tell me is that people weren't making the best use of their shadow clones. Even just one shadow clone means you have someone to learn everything in the village library while the original body is out training with some taijutsu. And after a year of this you should be able pull off a decent 3 shadow clones, with one still being a nerd, one becoming a politician assistant and other becoming a tourist and exploring the world while main body stuck as a gym bro
