Considering Jiraiya was also considered for the position of hokage, I think there could be a solid chance even without commiting horrible acts and just trying to make good connections, I wouldn't get as strong but there's solid exploits in Naruto that could be taken to gain power relatively easily, specially just learning the shadow clone jutsu, even with one clone, that's double the training you could do and a lot of multitasking
Jiraiya was a extremely powerful legendary war hero. You would need a major war and be top 4 in the war and be trusted by the previous hokage and be so op that you could of almost beaten or survived a battle the the pains! Yeah massacring a village would be more likely lol
I think Jiraiya was considered as a last resort. The advisors didn't want it, and Danzo is questionable at the time. Kakashi wasn't yet strong enough and Gai wasn't suited for the task. With Jiraiya dipping in and out of the village he was all they had, and that's also why he had to get Tsunade to take the job instead so that he could avoid it. I feel like there was some level of games with the advisors, they tried to make Jiraiya the Hokage for the same reason Jiraiya wanted Tsunade to be it... none of them wanted the job.

Normal people can't train using shadow clones. That's just Naruto because he is built different. Even very skilled jounin can only make a few shadow clones at most, and those clones have significantly less Chakra available to them. Because of this, shadow clones that aren't Naruto's tend to stick to taijutsu and kunai.

Not many people realize that the most important thing to become a Hokage in Konoha is to have a connection with the previous Hokage, whether as a teacher, student, subordinate, or right-hand man. The Hidden Cloud passes it down like a Monarchy, where the firstborn son will be the next Raikage (and also named Ay for some reason). Darui is the first one to break this cycle, but he was a student of the 3rd Raikage, learned the Raikage's special Black Lightning technique that he taught to NO ONE else, and then served as the 4th Raikage's right-hand man for his whole shinobi tenure, so he was BASICALLY a part of the family.
The Hidden Sand chooses from one specific clan, the Kazekage clan (which we aren't sure if they're all actually related or if you and your immediate family just gets adopted into the clan when you're selected. We know Gaara is Rasa's son but we don't know how either of them are related to the rest of the Kazekage.)
The Hidden Stone also takes the Konoha route, where the right-hand man and favored students of the previous Tsuchikage receive the title, with only Kurotsuchi receiving it through family relation to Ohnoki.
Honestly, the only village that DOESN'T use Nepotism to determine their next leader is the Hidden Mist Village. They may be a village with a whole damn CASTE system, and their history may have been directed by Uchiha genjutsu for most of its history, but STILL they pass the Mizukage title around a lot more than the other villages. Hell, as we see from the very first 5 Kage summit, the Hidden Mist village was the ONLY village where the Kage's attendant at the summit didn't become the next Kage of that village.
The Hidden Mist chooses their leader based on strength, charisma, and their drive to build a better, stronger, more financially stable village. And honestly, EVERY village should do that.
According to _Konoha Shinden_ the method of becoming immortal is through a single ritual that just requires the sacrifice of a large number of people, which makes achieving it much easier since you don't need to integrate into a village or hope you get blessed by Jashin after a while, you just need a single ritual that Hidan would probably happily teach you. After that, with Sage Mode, the Eight Gates, a good number of techniques and a good amount of fame from coattail-riding and your ruthless opportunism, chances are you could probably partner up with Danzo for even more power to boost your chances; since he's got a Yamanaka in ROOT, you could start hunting for missing-nin with other secret jutsu or clan techniques and drag them to Danzo and get their techniques mind-read out of them in exchange. In particular, grabbing Kakuzu's Earth Grudge Fear to repair your immortal body yourself and maybe even steal some high-end Elemental Releases through the hearts of other missing-nin would be ideal - you don't even need to grab Kakuzu himself, since it's a Hidden Waterfall kinjutsu and you can probably find some other user to steal it from.
Honestly, grabbing Hidan's head is also a good move. Have Fu steal all the Jashinite curse techniques - in particular, Hidan's Death Controlling Possessed Blood - and make sure to learn those well. Then, when the time comes to assassinate your best friend and usurp the mantle of Hokage, you just need a vial of his blood from some time earlier and a hidden spot to perform the curse - possibly on a mission outside the village to avoid any suspicion if the curse can go that far - and suddenly you've got a Hokage assassinated right under ANBU's nose and a good reason to bypass the regular method of choosing a new Hokage and ascend to the title immediately in order to quell the chaos caused by your best friend's death. Make sure to act convincingly mournful, then ramp up the tensions caused by the mysterious death and have Danzo do his thing, and suddenly, you've got an engineered war to try out all your fun new abilities on and come out smelling like roses as a war hero, keeping the title of Hokage for decades to come until you decide it's time to hand the hat off to a protege of yours and retire to a far off mountain to do whatever for the rest of your life (assuming Jashinite immortality has you still age).

As a ninja, it is essential that you first learn your chakra affinity. It works the same way Kakashi taught Naruto with a piece of paper.
I refuse to believe that nature affinity isn't determined as soon as academy students are able to impart chakra into the paper.
Sadly, the Hokage title seem to be accessible only you have a great connection to the former Hokage. Tobirama was Hashirama's brother. Hiruzen was Hashirama and Tobirama's student. The main candidate for the fourth Hokage spot were Jiraya, Orochimaru ( both Hiruzen student ) and Minato who is Jiraya's student. Tsunade is Hashirama's grand-daughter and Hiruzen's student. After Konoha attack, Kakashi was almost appointed Sixth Hokage and the main reason for that is that Kakashi was Minato's student who was himself student of Jiraya... former student of the Third. The reasons for Naruto being the Seventh are pretty obvious. He is the son of the Fourth and student of the Sixth.
In fact it seem like it's like this in any other village. Gaara is the son of the former Kazekage. Darui was the right hand of the former Raikage that was the son of the Raikage before. Current Tsuchikage is the grand-daughter of the previous one and Oonoki was student of Muu.

No, it's just that Kishimoto doesn't care about believability that much if he goes against him adding a lot of contrived parallels between too many characters and every hokage happening to be connected to every other in an extremely convenient manner because "it's cool" or something.
Which it isn't when you realise that is extremely artificial and the immersion just breaks.
Eh, I think it's because Kishi wanted to make a lot of parallels betwen characters, if the timeline was larger from the founding to the start of canon I think we could have seen more kages.
A few things can be done for a better outcome, for one, use the transformation jutsu before living in said villages before killing them, then use a transformation jutsu and turn into Hidan so even if a villager somehow got away alive, it's Hidan who did it not me. Also since the targets are just normal people, a mass genjutsu can easily knock them all out to make it easier and less messy. Finally, don't kill the kids, they like the adults are in the genjutsu, so once the adults are all dead and genjutsu lifted, all the kids are gonna have some extremely mental breakdown. That's when you come in as yourself and take them under your wing, the mental breakdown and trauma would make them easier to brainwash to see you as their savior, so you basically get sorta a discounted root. Perhaps there's even a few gems in there who knows. But unlike the root, there's no need for them to kill one another, keep them all and just let the unskilled ones to do whatever logistics and or rumor gathering. Sure they may be just pawns but enough pawns can still topple a king.

So many of these comments boil down to 'Okay, here's how to make this plan even more evil' and this is one of them.
You could quite honestly become Hokage without killing your best friend quite easily, because if comes to the point where the Hokage is the only strong ninja in the village like you said, someone would *definitely* take advantage of that, and kill him. Exactly like Orichimaru.
Not just kill him, it's very much possible for your friend to get sealed, to dissapear, to get kidnapped, to go fight someone or something like that.
You probably won't have to do anything, you aren't the main protagonist, eventually your friend will heroically sacrifice himself for the greater good of the village.

My thought is to hire the Akatsuki to take care of it, or better yet have the Hidden Stone handle this. Then you step into the Hokage role, have a fake war with them, shovel some mountains of cash and maybe a Tailed Beast behind the scenes, and enter a favorable peace treaty where you take some nominal amount of useless land to look like you punished them.

7:02 Two to three chakra natures is very much not average. Its pretty heavily implied that most people only have one natural affinity, and while you can learn and master more than just the element you have an affinity for, mastering two elements is considered a Jounin level skill according to the third databook. Most of the characters we hear about having an elemental affinity have only one unless they come from a specific clan. All of the Kekkai Genkai that require two elements would probably make those in that family have a guaranteed or high chance to have the two required elements as affinities, but even outside that one of the best examples I can think of is Sasuke who was skilled with both fire and lightning. However he was an Uchiha who almost all have a natural fire affinity, and he was psuedo posessed by the spirit of Indra who was implied to have a lightning affinity. All that is to say that three elemental affinities is wildly outside the average.
Yeah your points about 3 chakra natures are valid but as we've seen with Yamatos explanation of chakra nature almost every jonin has 2 chakra natures so that is average since we would also be that level.
Just be smart and train with shadow clone, while at the start you might be able to only use one, it should let you grow amount of you chakra quicker and then you could slowly grow amount of clones you have. Clones could be used to train chakra control as you don't need physical training for it and it is more about discovery/control.
2-3 chakra natures is possible for elite jonin so if you want to be kage it's possible with training. Chakra affinity just means it is easier for you to use an element, but you can learn all fives so many people in the fandom believes you can have several affinities but that's not true except for Otsutsuki and other bloodline users (for example a ice user would have affinity for both wind and water, and it's the reason why they have the bloodline limit in the first place)

When it comes to having three chakra natures, I think is unlikely as we are an ordinary jonin, not jonin elite. Of course that doesn't mean that you can't use the most basic jutsus of affinities you don't have like a basic mud wall or water spray.
Having an affinity means you can practice a certain elements or no. Most don't Master any. and average is more then 2 elements. IN your context average refers to all the shinobi to picture how time consuming it is. Like 3-5 years to get to basic combat level. Most choose to do something else...

I'm pretty sure that puts you at least at 10 tails Jinchuriki level.
At that point, all you need is to steal a set of Sharringan, then find some Hashirama cells, implant them all into yourself to awaken Rinnegan, then maybe hunt down a tailed beast, doesn't matter which (because its just going to be a senjutusu battery), and seal it inside yourself.
Put it under your stolen sharringan genjutsu while inside of you, and just have it always taking in nature Chakra.
Boom, ultimate power.

Since you're a genjutsu user, use summons to amp your genjutsu and expand its area of effect like that dude in the great shinobi war who had that summon that casted the genjutsu mist
Overall decent pan for becoming Hokage the main problem, with the greatest point of not working for you, is gaining Jashin's blessing. We don't know how many we would need to kill, or if there are any other requirements, I personally believe that jashin also requires you to truly believe while sacrificing and to not just kill all of these people looking for a reward like what you would be doing. Also if you do get a curse mark you wouldn't be able to use it. Everyone knows it is a creation of orochimaru, and he is the only one giving them out. So you would have to fake an attack and even if they buy it, which I have my doubts, you are still more or less banned from using it for fear of orochimaru's influence, both anko never used it and Sasuke was told out right to not use it, the only time he did while loyal, outside of the forest of death were he just got it, was in his fight with Gaara and it was more like he was out of chakra so the curse mark started to activate on it's own, like what it tried to do in the preliminaries.
If you want to be able to take down strong opponents here is a far simpler way poison. It is such an overlooked thing no one tries to build up tolerances, they just rely on medics to cure, don't let them. if you say you have to be a genius to make them, don't make them. Find the genius that can, or just order a few simple but potent ones from the doctors and just use them. Coat your kunai and other weapons with them.
that's a good point, trying to replicate what happened to hanzo could be a great easy power boost
Well, at least you can still get some mid level Senjutsu, good Genjutsu AND then stack poison! This should unironically get you quite above the average Jounin
I'd probably try to specialize in Sealing & Summoning jutsus.
I'd do this by trying to learn any abilities available to me. It'd guarantee me an at least somewhat important spot in any village and will most likely result in many people in said village invested in my survival..... and it would make me an incredibly powerful/dangerous ninja without too much hate towards me from other villages. It'd also allow me to beat stronger opponents than myself.
Add sensory abilities to that too and there's literally no reason for Konoha to not prop you up all the way to Kage status
Issue if you are average you really wouldn't have the chakra to be able to summon or seal

I believe all sensory techniques require an amazing level of Chakra control, way better than the average. So by only honing your Chakra control skills you can have 2 of the most useful skills in the verse i.e sealing and sensory jutsus
I would make 2 additions to this to make you even more powerful and potent.
#1: After becoming immortal, agree to undergo experimentation by Orochimaru. Because you can't die from the experiments, you could end up gaining abilities like Kabuto did via surgeries, drugs, ect giving you things like Kekkei Genkai, body modifications/amplifiers, chakra boost and other such things.
#2: Join the Interrogation Corps and learn a jutsu they use called Psycho Mind Transmission. You can then use this for 2 big benefits.
First, you can use it to capture people alive with you Genjutsu and then extract information from their brain to gain access to things like information, Jutsu, training techniques and other things you might not have access to from other villages otherwise.
Secondly, when decapitation Hidan, take his still breathing head back to the village and extract all the info on the Akatsuki he has. This will give the village vital information on thr Akatsuki and their plans, possibly leading to them being thwarted early and even possibly making you a Hero without ever laying a hand on another member of the Akatsuki.
Mind transfer is a kakki gankai and if anyone else looks into that mans head they will see our connection with out lord

The Genjutsu and torture are just used to Weaken the target mentally to make it easier to extract information. Psycho Mind Transmission basically allows you to delve into people's minds and extract information from them.

Let's do some quick math, Nick. The average Shinobi only uses about 20% of their chakra potential before tapping into the 8 Gates. Opening to the 8th Gate gives you 100% access. So, by that math, opening up to the 4th gate should grant you approximately 60% of your chakra
True, but the last few gates probably unlock more possible chakra comparatively. Rock Lee went to the 5th gate I believe against Gaara, and it took him from around chunin level in base to around low jonin level, whereas the 6th, 7th and 8th gates take Guy from a low kage level with the 5th gate to 10 tails Madara level or slightly above
Does sound like a 3x increase in power, though I don’t think it’s quite linear at the top of the scale… or perhaps the 8th Gate just abandons the scale and pushes past 100% in exchange for your life.

Only potential flaw in this plan is Jashin's blessing, we don't know if Jashin actually exists and that he gave a blessing to Hidan, Hidan's immortality might be an innate trait he has and Jashin is just something he either knowingly or unknowingly made up as an explanation for his power that he doesn't know the source of.
Or you could get Orochimaru to use a gene therapy on you using Hashirama and Otsotuski DNA to amp up ur power and regeneration. You could also get those juicy uchiha eyes implanted
there are two potential alternatives I can think of, kakuzu's jutsu and becoming a puppet like sasori. kakuzu will probably teach you if you pay him enough and sasori is desperate for friendship. the only potential issue is that being a puppet might make you unable to use sage mode or the eight gates (for what it's worth, I don't think it would because sasori could still use ninjitsu but it might)
@@miss_baphomet Ototuski are immortal, if you get orochimaru to do a gene therapy on you, you could get their immortality and also get access to shinjutsu. Orochimaru might have already performed this procedure on himself and we wouldn't know because his skin was white as snow even before Boruto. Maybe thats why he looks younger now, like a lesbian

Every hokage aside from the first two were either related or trained under a previous one or a student of a previous one. In the case of Tsunade and the titular character, all three. So getting the very best jonin as your sensei raises your chances significantly.
Minato wasn’t related or trained by hiruzen he was just known and fugaku he was a candidate wasn’t aswell
@@shin1758 Fugaku was a "candidate" .. but really only because of the size of the Uchia clan and them wanting a village leader from their clan. Hiruzen, trained by Tobirama, wanted his own student, Orochimaru. When he said no, it went to Jiraiya, then to Jiraiya 's student, Minato.

Great video...Honestly genjutsu is one of the most useful support abilities. I was watching Dygoknight's rewrite and Sakura with genjutsu seems really cool. Support abilities like medical ninjutsu, genjutsu and sealing jutsu when used by characters in actual fighting make them really strong since most ninjas would have a hard time countering them.

Never thought I'll see the day Nick would recommend we all become Danzo 2.0. to achieve the dream of being Hokage. Though while he did wear the hat for a little while, Nick forgot the fact Danzo was also special, special in the fact Hiruzen tolerated him as even before Tsunade ever returned to the village, Lord 3rd knew what he was getting up to but let it slide because besties. Then there's the fact the truth of the Root and Danzo's actions leaked by Boruto, so if we took this advice, we'll need even MORE luck then he had to ensure our less then moral(or legal) actions don't leak as even if we don't run for the office and support someone else, their enemies will dig into us to see we can't be used as ammo against them-therefore the chances of them finding those bodies we buried increasing. Even if that didn't happen, itHokage

Don't stretch yourself thin with jutsu, practice a good two to three and make sure they are synergistic. Kakashi knows 1,000 jutsu, but it's impractical to practice that many different abilities.

Absolutely agree with your take, it’s a very bloody path to power in Naruto. Sasuke had to sell his soul, and he was nowhere near average.
And I realised this when Shikamaru almost ended the war when he caught Obito lacking 😂😂😂 to a point where Obito himself admitted how useful his ability is with some additional strategic thinking
I agree although Sasuke is a bad example. He’s a prodigy of the top two strongest clans (even excluding Indra reincarnate) with his dad being the clan leader. Sure, Itachi was an even bigger prodigy although Sasuke’s sharingan/dojutsu potential has always been higher than anyone’s alongside Madara (and I guess now Sarada, Boruto and Kawaki)

@@inboundira329 Well the problem is that he didn't have to sell his soul. He chose to because it got him the fastest results or at least that was what he assumed. But looking at all of his options, the selling his soul probably isn't even the best one. There was nothing stopping him from training with Kakashi more and learning more of those supposed 1,000 jutsu or even seeing if Jiraiya would train him as well. Hell, he might have gotten trained by Tsunade.
He didn't have limitless options or anything, because being trained by the strongest tends to mean becoming some of the strongest, but he had other options. That he didn't take. Because he was looking for fast power.

I think even if you started off average in the academy, I think you could become way stronger if you trained in specialized areas, like something that not many train in, like sealing or genjutsu while also learning how to build your chakra reserves and since your average you’ll have good chakra control because you have a smaller pool of chakra so you just need to practice your control exercises while building your chakra up and learn new Jutsus and fill niche roles to make your self more needed and get close to the higher ups

I think learning Shadow Clone Jutsu would be absolutely critical for a character like this to work. Even if you have average Chakra reserves, you could split yourself into multiple copies and constantly be experimenting with new forms of Jutsu at all times.
I agree learning sage mode, even imperfect, is important. But I’m not so sure on the obtaining an immortal body or a cursed mark.
I think, that with Sage Chakra you could just overwhelm an enemy with Shadow Clone. Especially if Jarah is your master, as he will teach you the Rasengan. It’s a very powerful Jutsu and you don’t need to be a genius to learn it.
But your true strength will come from learning summoning Jutsu. Even if you never become powerful enough to summon Papa Frog, which is unlikely as Sage Mode will give you enough chakra and you don’t need to be a genius, being able to reliably summon mid-level frog sommons will practically guarantee you a spot in the Chunin exam quarter finals (so long as you don’t get spawn killed by that year’s Garaa or something like that). Seeing how the entire Konoha Ten made it to Chunin in a couple years, I doubt you have to win the tournament to become Chunin.
Now you’d just need to show your worth as a Shinobi by becoming a Jonin quickly. Which as an imperfect sage capable of advanced summoning, with Jariah as your squad leader, you are practically assured.
From there, you just follow Nick’s strat, without all the baggage that could get you caught/spread doubt upon you.

Forgot to comment this on your last video about the Hyuga clan, but I noticed that while they talk about the gentle fist being used to either disrupt chakra flow OR amplify the flow of chakra; however, we only see the hyuga use it to disrupt the tenketsu points. I wonder why they never go into the "amplify" part of it in the series, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on why we never saw this in the show, or what would happen if the Hyuga used their gentle fist on allies to buff their abilities. Maybe an interesting "what if" video, I'm imagining Naruto + KCM + an amp from Hinata would be exponentially more powerful during any point in the war arc. Love the content, please keep it coming!
Body flicker which is a class E jutsu that essentially all academy students know before graduating and then learn shadow clone jutsu although your average so you can maybe make 2 shadow clones at a time. But with that you can now double your training and experience like Naruto did when learning sage mode. Combine the body flicker with the shadow clones and combine that with your 2 or 3 elemental releases to stack the elements and you’re one formidable foe. Then imo learn sage mode the way Naruto did with shadow clones cutting down the time significantly.
The academy students dont learn the Shadow Clone though, they learn the Clone. Which is a doppelganger without any mass to it

How do you REALLY become the next Hokage? Be taught by Tsunade, Kakashi, or Naruto (or Konohamaru, I guess).
For real, the entire of the Leaf Village Leadership is determined by Nepotism and connection to the 1st Hokage's philosophy (which was passed down through being taught by them.)
1st Hokage (Hashirama) founded the village.
2nd (Tobirama) was the 1st's brother.
3rd (Hiruzen) was a student of the 2nd.
4th (Minato) was the student of the 3rd's student, only chosen due to the 3rd's students having left the village (Tsunade and Orochimaru) or turned down the position (Jiraiya, who was offered the title MULTIPLE times and consistently turned it down.)
5th (Tsunade) was a student of the 3rd and granddaughter of the 1st
Fake 6th (Danzo) was a teammate of the 3rd and student of the 2nd
True 6th (Kakashi) was a student of the 4th
And 7th (Naruto) was the son of the 4th, student of the 6th, and student of the same master who taught the 4th.
Which means the candidates for the 8th are either students of the 5th (Sakura or Shizune), students of the 6th (Sakura or Sasuke), students of the 7th (Konohamaru or Kawaki), the children of the 7th (Boruto or Himawari), or students of the 7th's student should he abdicate (Boruto, Sarada, or Mizuki). You want into that exclusive club, you gotta get taught by a prior Kage.
It would also make sense for Shikamaru becoming hokage, since he was thought by 4th's son (Asuma). Konohamaru also makes sense, being 4th's grandchild
These are just a chain of too convenient coincidences. Because Kishimoto thought it would be cool.
Same reason there are so many parallels between different characters, he just thought that it was cool at the expense of making a believable setting.
Don't forget some of the information in the Naruto filler episodes which could be exploited depending on when you are born. I think that it would be perfect to be a couple years (2 or 3) older than the main cast. This puts in a period where Konoha is rebuilding from the 3rd Great Shinobi War and the Kyuubi attack but should give you time to make Chuunin before the Knonha Crush, where you can fight and defeat multiple sand and sound nin to enhance your reputation. Hopefully between making Gennin/Chuunin and the crush, you can exploit several resources. One is a summoning contract up for grabs in the land of neck, the chameleon contract. In the land of rivers, you have the village of artisans and the four "shinobi" and their unique ninja tools. There are also several important missions you could set the groundwork for being a part of. One is the land of tea mission where you could (hopefully) retrieve the sword of the Second Hokage. The other is the Land of Snow mission, where you could help liberate the nation but most importantly, you can get your hands om chakra armor, maybe even the high-quality armor Doto has. If you successfully gain the chameleon contract and training with them, your stealth would hopefully be high enough when combined with some poison and seal use, that you could accomplish this.

The best thing about reincarnating into the Naruto world is that by default, we wouldn't just be average. Sure our skills, intelligence, and chakra levels may be, but we would also have a small level of omniscience.
As readers/watchers we know practically every secret that most shinobi in Naruto were not privy to. We even know the processes to learning super powerful jutsu like the rasenshuriken. A justu most have no clue how to do. That doesn't mean we would be able to DO the rasenshuriken, but we have the technical know how of how those advanced justu work, which gives us an advantage when it comes to creating our own specialized jutsu.
If we really want to be devious we even know of locations like Danzo's Foundation, certain Akatsuki bases, or numerous Orochimaru hideouts. It would only take a bit of rudementary investigation to find those places since we already vaguely know their coordinates. Once we find them, there is bound to be leftover forbidden justu or unfinished experiments. Maybe even a couple of Byakugan or something. All of this secretive knowledge would greatly enhance our chances of success in the shinobi world.

Oop, we're working off of the assumption that Jashin isn't a construct of Hidan's mind and I'm down with it. It's possible Jashin exists, we know there are multiple afterlife destinations in Naruto and Jashin could very well be the keeper of one of them. It's impossible to prove Jashin does or doesn't exist with the info we've been given. Though we don't have honest faith like Hidan, so I question whether Jashin would actually bless us with immortality because gods don't usually respond well to being a means to an end.

Sir, I feel the need to say something...
Most ninja DO NOT become jonin, the majority remain as chunin.
Jonin are elites, it's in the name. This is a common misconception, it's kinda like stand users in JoJo; most people simply never unlock a stand, but because the people we watch aren't average people they seem more common than you'd expect on an average Tuesday (much like in Naruto, where all but like 5 people we meet has either inherited or stolen legendary abilities).
Being a genjutsu specialist is actually a very smart choice, a medical ninja would also be an amazing path to follow. If you´re specializing on taijutsu there might be some battles you´re not gonna be usefull, same with ninjutsu but there´s very few cases you don´t need a genjutsu user and there´s fewer cases you don´t need a medical ninja.
The real secret is dedicating all, and I mean all, your training to chakra control. Every power up in the series is largely related to it, the tree walking, water walking, rasengan, sage mode, elemental releases, medical ninjutsu, genjutsu, Tsunade’s style of taijustsu and probably a load more I can’t remember. If you have chakra control even slightly better than Sakura’s after decades of only training it you can then learn practically every power-up you could possibly need. Whilst not training or on mission you should push to reform something big, like hashirama and child soldiers or tsunade and medic systems. Personally I’d go for something that would be popular like making a better orphanage. When I have a reputation as a good person, powerful fighter and medic combined with my experience in affecting administration. I’d be a candidate.

I dont think Sakura's chakra control was as amazing as "arguably the greatest in the universe" (3:17). She had a really small amount of chakra and that made her chakra control naturally better, much like how Naruto's immense chakra reserves made his control much worse naturally. Beyond that her amazing feats of chakra control dont really show up until she's been trained by Tsunade.

Coming back to this video, I'm struck by how delightful the visual dynamic between Average Shinobi and Golden Boy would be. I'm imagining Golden Boy to be a prince charming type Generic Handsome Anime Protag, with Naruto KCM style powerups with just getting a chakra aura, throwing out big, dramatic elemental releases, and Average Shinobi having a severely imperfect toad sage mode, throwing out genjutsu and mid tier elemental release. This dark minded, monstrous looking genjutsu user and his cool suave bestie. I just love this aesthetic so much.
To be fair, the reason Orochimaru was passed over was because Hiruzen and the Elders sensed the darkness within him and knew better than to ignore this feeling. The reason Fugaku was passed over was due to the political isue involving the Uchiha at the time that would lead to the Uchiha coup. Another reason they passed over Fugaku was they felt that he would be more loyal to the Uchiha clan and put the Clan's needs above the villages. Something wich Itachi admitted as true. Hiruzen also said that he thinks Itachi would haave been a good Hokage.
Just getting nominated as Hokage is a big deal so we need to understand the other reasons why people were not chosen. After all the election process in Konoha is that the Konoha council comes up with a couple of candidates and the Daimyo makes the final decision. This means that the Daimyo can even choose his own candidate as Hokage, so the councils candidates are mostly recommendations to the Daimyo.

It is stated you do, but even if you don't have a huge chakra pool, you could attempt to become a toad sage. It is all about balancing Nature Chakra with your own and mixing at the proper ratio.
Larger Chakra pools just makes it that much easier to balance and mix.

There is heavy emphasis on being able to take in the Nature chakra and have it balanced with your chakra. Then you need to mix it at a precise ratio.

Personally, if anything besides connections to a Hokage were of importance, the best route to gaining the necessary power? It's what I call the Kabuto Method.
You don't even have to be exceedingly smart, just studious. Especially as a Konoha-nin, you have one of, if not the most scientifically gifted ninja RIGHT THERE. Focus on your academic skills as a school child/genin, apply for an apprenticeship and buckle down. Besides all the jutsu you get to see and learn as per your ability, you'll eventually (depending entirely on your diligence and willingness to learn) be equipped to STEAL talent from others.
Came across a kekkei genkai you liked? Boy howdy is there a method to nick it and have it not suck despite your mismatch in bloodline. This other person has a non-bloodbound ability that you like or a way more massive mana bar than your sorry ass? Nothing a clever capture and some experimentation can't fix. Even better: If you polish your relationship with Orochimaru and learn how he ticks, making a convincing enough sell can potentially have him actively help you acquire your -sample- -test subject- next big nerd project! And the best part: You don't even have to wreck your body for this. Hell, a transplant of Orochimaru or Hashirama cells that are bound to be in his lab tends to do the trick. Just look at the otherwise absolute nobody Yamato.

The problem with learning jutsu is that most people teach them to their students or they are passed down through familial relationships.
I don't think it's stated in Naruto, but if there is some type of public library on ninjutsu or genjutsu, I would read up on all that I could. It's also important to train your speed, strength, and taijutsu to the point you are not completely beaten in a solo fight. I think reducing your jutsu to about 4 or 5 jutsu in two to three elements would be better so that you can focus on your effectiveness. All you need is about two strong jutsu in every range of short range, mid-range, and long range. The rest are just to add versatility so that you aren't predictable and to serve as diversions.
I would also take on multiple teachers for months at a time. It would allow them to see my work ethic, which would be good for my reputation as well as furthering my knowledge in jutsu.
But most important, I would practice all the fundamentals to perfection. Basic taijutsu, shuriken jutsu, throwing kunai, body flicker, substitution jutsu, stealth, clone jutsu, transformation jutsu, and strategy. I would study how to use these to their peak in battle. I want to know how to hit a target from any range, how to sneak without being noticed, how to move without being touched, and how to scheme my way out of any situation. As long as I can survive, I can find another way to be Hokage.
you could just steal other people kekegenkai. i am gonna steal uchiha eye, hashirama cell and implant on my own body. your average work ethic seems to go nowhere like iruka.
After getting stronger, i would marry one of daughter of hokage. it is the most realistic and easy path to become hokage without nepotism.

You must have the rizz your name implies. The problem with stealing kekkei genkai is that everyone in the village will know you stole them, which makes you untrustworthy and not likely to become hokage. Plus, who are you going to steal a sharingan from? The only Uchiha left are super elite, gifted shinobi. You also may not survive the implanting of Hashirama cells.
Also, Iruka may not have had ambition to become Hokage, so we don't know how hard he worked or if he tried to make friends with the right people.
Either way, being average makes it super difficult to be Hokage, no matter what you do. Lol

I don't see why you couldn't be summoned from the Kamui dimension or one of Kaguya's alternate dimensions, but the Realm of Drunken Dreams probably involves some serious seals keeping you in there. Kind of like how you can't be Edo Tensei'd out of the Shinigami's stomach.

Didn't you have a video saying Hidan's immortality might not be from Jashin? So he could just be unique and the whole Jashin thing was made up by him. If that's the case, that throws a wrench into a lot of this setup.
Well in that case, create a (scientific) clone of Hidan from his DNA and pick up Orochimaru’s soul-transferring jutsu, then take that clone as our own body. Orochimaru himself could handle this whole process, so long as we let him make a clone for himself as payment. If there’s something special about Hidan’s body that makes him naturally immortal, Orochimaru will find it.
@@TheCrazyCapMaster I feel like Orochimaru would have already tried that, since he had easy access to Hidan while in the Akatsuki. So he never actually did it for some reason. Whether that's proof Hidan's immortality isn't genetic or not, is up to interpretation.

I think the Kabuto route would be the easiest. This is a man with no talent except science and he was able to cause a 4th Shinobu world war. With jutsu like Edo Tensei and gene stealing, you can get any ability you want and have an unlimited amount of immortal zombies protecting you. Kabuto was just a normal person but with Gene splicing he was able to have sage mode and almost fight on par with Sasuke and Itachi
In Boruto, it show that cloning and karma can be reproduce with science. So you can implant a karma into yourself without becoming a host. Not to mention the unlimited amount of scientific ninja tool in boruto that was able to rival god.
Kabuto is the only exemple in Naruto (dunno about Boruto) of a guy having absolutely nothing special going for him becoming truly OP.
Even the guys with seemingly nothing special (Kakashi dad, the Sarutobis, etc you can find them if you look) were all from families of ninjas. The other exemples of ninjas with nothing special are Tenten and Rock Lee and guess what they did jack shit. You cannot even count Gai in this because his dad was a giga chad.

The same thing can be said with Tsunade and her medical ninjutsu or Orichimaru, and his experiment or Katasuke Tōno and his ability to create a ninjas tool that let you use any jutsu you want. The hand that naruto use as replacement is also a ninja tool and is able to absorb jutsu. You can even create dojutsu with science in Naruto. It is one of the most op yet undeveloped part of Naruto series.

I’ve always felt like just learning the multi shadow clone technique and having normal to a little above average chakra levels would always be my best bet if I was in the naruto world. There’s a ton of kage that wouldn’t be considered god levels or capable of destroying a village so yea you won’t be hashirama with a gundam but with shadow clones you can learn multiple Justus and become so versatile that you can hold your own against a variety of shinobi
You do realize how much chakra you need to not just die from using the multi shadow clone right?

@@sharktenko267 4 is plenty I’ll explain why but with kakashi this was during him having the sharingan which constantly takes away his chakra so him saying 4 means that without the sharingan he can do maybe 8 or a little more because we don’t know how taxing the sharingan actually is for non uchiha( even though it’s clear using it can take him out of commission for a while) but we’ve seen naruto able to store up sage mode with just three clones and sage mode is taxing on both the physical and mental since you have to be Able to balance the nature and regular chakra or you will turn into a animal

I have the feeling there are a lot unproven assumptions in Nick's way to become Hokage. That a average person is really able to go through toad sage training with some success is debatable. The notion, that somebody can attain Jashin's blessing in killing civilians strikes me as very unlikely. As far as we know, nobody could replicate Hidan's relationship to Lord Jashin. And I don't think it counts if you befriend somebody just to sacrifice them. I doubt that you can get so close to people, if your motive is power through any means. And as I understand Jashinism it matters most, what you feel about the people you are sacrificing. So this part feels really wonky.
Last thing I want to say, that the average person, who gets a curse mark from Orochimaru, defenitly dies without Jashin's blessing. It sounds really strange to me, that surviving the curse mark is merely luck. It makes more sense to me, that all survivors are somehow above average with bodies, which can withstand the pain.
But what do I know? In my opinion I as an average Jonin have no chance to become the Hokage unless I'm extremly lucky. Without any relationship to privious or current Hokage, the power to save the village myself or an IQ of 200 (that's the main reason why Shikamaru was the consultant of the Hokage starting with Tsunade), I see no legit way to become the next Hokage.
Tbf there's nothing that shows that you have to be strong to learn toad sage mode, especially if you don't want/need to be a perfect sage. As nick stated jiraiya was barely average when he started training. Was it the sage training or jiraiya? No one knows so its ok to assume there's levels to sage mode that doesn't require you to be the best of the best.
The joshin thing is highly debatable but not impossible. It would be wort it to try as id assume joshin would care that you are willing to kill in his name to get his blessings Wetherb your truly care about him or not but the deaths he receives.
The curse mark thing is a BIG no no lol its not worth the risk! A 90% chance of death and not knowing what makes the 10$ successful is too risky lol plus orochimaru having that control over you isn't an added negative
I think sage mode and learning powerful techniques is the best way to go to get stronger. The illogical thing about this video is that all the stuff you have to do to become hokage from an average level ninja would need more than average mentality, drive and ambitious for the sacrifice you would have to do to boost yourself to kage level

a potential alternative to jashin's blessing (since it's honestly unclear if jashin is real and even if they are the murder gacha seems too random to me) is kakazu, give him enough money and he'll likely tell you how to perform his jutsu. at this point you could return to the village, but kakuzu is a loose end. at this point you probably aren't beating kakuzu in a straight fight but you might be able to sneak attack him. ideally you do what neji did to kidomaru and fry his chakra network, but if that's a hyuga specific technique your next best move is probably paper bombs. then you just return to konoha with kakuzu's head and a bunch of secret new abilities and a functionally immortal body and proceed as planned.
in theory you might be able to become a puppet like sasori, but that might mean giving up the eight gates and sage mode so potentially not worth it.

Easy, become Rock Lee and dedicate yourself to Taijutsu and the Eight Gates. Maybe you aren’t opening them all, but you could open a few.
If you’re lucky, you can also use Genjutsu and Ninjutsu, which gives you an extra edge that you can train. Maybe you don’t have anything crazy, but you could use basic Elemental Techniques and train them to frightening accuracy and effect. Using that alongside the Eight Gates and with expert Taijutsu, and you have turned yourself into a weapon above the level of Might Gai.
At that point, train yourself to defend against Genjutsu, possibly by learning Sage Mode, and you’ve become legit one of the most powerful ninja alive.
Make some solid connections with the higher-ups in the village and you have yourself a very solid chance of becoming a Kage.
The issue with most ninja in Naruto is that they don’t try hard enough. They aren’t aiming to be the strongest or to be Hokage. Rock Lee proves that by being born one of the weakest in Konoha and yet turning himself into one of the strongest in the world, even with his limitations. He did so by dedicating himself completely to his dream and never giving up no matter how much training it took. Ideally, as an average ninja, you could be even more powerful than him, especially if you had famous teachers like Tsunade for Medical Ninjutsu and the Chakra Fist.

I think better battle strategy is going with shurikenjutsu, fuinjutsu ,stealth and poisons. It is easier to accomplish because only jutsu you really need are body flickering, invisibility, body transformation, some silencing, sealing plus unsealing techniques and technique to hide your chakra. In fights your talented friend makes all hard work and you will just use opening to launch poisoned kunai with some explosive tags at bad guys. Also with that strategy you can much easier deal with some political oponents and it gives more time to learn something like geopolitics and economy because you don't need to learn a lot of jutsu and jutsus you have will be quite effective.
