Welding sheet metal with a stick welder takes some skill not to burn holes in it. Much respect for that. Unfortunately, some of these guys are going to probably have problems with their eyes latter on in life from not having or using the right equipment to protect their vision.
A perfectly serviceable wheelbarrow, that's affordable to people in the community, and the manufacture of the barrows provides employment for members of the community! A win - win situation.

Who needs templates and big pressing machines? A couple of spot welds and few blows with a hammer and it starts looking like wheelbarrow. These guys deserve credit, altough they are totally crude, don't prepare and prime themetal for spraying, but still the end result is something that will eventually get beaten the first day it arrives in new owner's hands

Safety on the lighter side. Skill is staring into the distance as you arc weld by the feel of the rod on the work. (Maybe just a peek now and then. Ugh) I believe there are extremes in both directions of safety attire. Once you've made a habit of working unencumbered it is tougher to suit up.

We sorrowfully don't have heavy duty wheelbarrows in Europe anymore, as there are no work done by hand anymore that would need such a strong wheelbarrow. I really like the sturdiness of this one. Well done.
