    I’ve been going back and forth on the Air versus the Pro for months now. I’m upgrading from a 5th generation Mini so either way it’s a win for me; my plan is to make it my editing workhorse for photos and graphic design, so knowing that either one could work well for that purpose keeps me unsure of which one to get. I will say though, having invested into a few OLED TVs in recent years makes the idea of a screen like that on an iPad super appealing..

    • @JonImperial
      @JonImperial  3 місяці тому +2

      It is very close. If you are the type to keep your devices for a while, then maybe the Pro is better for you if you can about the specs I mentioned in the first half. If not, I would maybe get a higher storage for the Air?

    I am still on my 1st gen ipad pro 12.9 (2015), i still love it, it still does whatever I want as a student, but these days I considered to upgrading it to 11’ iPad pro M4 with pencil Pro because of the long lasting of Apple iPads, i am still shocked how was it possible for a device work like that after 9 years

    Don't mean to be a troll, but I really like the dimensions of the samsung s9+. The 12.4 inch screen is much better size for viewing media while still being (just barely) able to hold it one handed. The 13 inch ipads are just too big to use as a tablet, for me anyways and the 11 inches is a bit too small for my eyes. I still use my older ipads. Maybe Lenovo or Xiaomi tablets of 12 inches are also good.

    With the iPad Air M2 (2024) do you think it could be used to "scan (with screenshots) a book with images?
    Scanning a book, as I say, with screenshots, what do you think the result would be? Would the screenshots of the book with this iPad not give good results or, on the contrary, would the result of those captures be close to the images from the original book?, that is to say,
    the result of those screenshots, in which % would approach the images of the original book ?. I thank you in advance. kind regards

    I got a 13 pro then returned for an 11 pro. It’s real nice as it drives a change in my lifestyle. Theres more motivation to bring it out of the house or use it during a commute. But the speaker is crap compared to the 13. If you are consuming content on the 11, good luck hearing anything outdoors without headphones. Most content cant be heard unless the volume is at 80% up. And the on screen keyboard does not have the extra row of number keys, and when its on landscape, takes up nearly 35% of the screen. Starting to think i should go back to a 13 but it is true that while it is great overall, with MKB it will tilt backwards and it does seem a tad big to bring out as a tablet. Sigh what should i do?

    The fact is nobody really needs to spend more than $349 or £349 for the very basic iPad because it does 99% of what every other iPad does for about 20% of the cash of the pro. The iPad Pro models are an absolute waste of money and they are essentially taxing consumers at 30% to buy them. I owned one three years ago and it was the worst value for money tech device I’ve ever had because I couldn’t do the things I wanted with it. You have to adapt to how Apple wants you to use it and to be quite honest, in 2024, people shouldn’t have to live like that. If people want to understand my argument better, Google search the law of diminishing returns. This essentially summarizes the madness of the iPad in a manner that even the dumbest of people can understand.
