In this video, I finally fully install the Subaru Impreza 2002 2003 Bugeye WRX front bumper on my Subaru Impreza RS GC8 coupe !! I start by installing a JDM OEM lightweight front bumper beam and then I hot stapled and plastic welded together the top of my GC bumper to the bottom of my GD bumper . I then put flexible body filler on and then sanded it down, sprayed filler primer and then sanded that down. Now, it looks incredible!!

Ive been wanting to do this for a while, esp since I have the parts on hand. I guess my question is why didnt you use the Bugeye bumper bar? Its less weight than the L one and well ive seen bugeyes just mow stuff down without much front end damage

I thought it was gonna clear, even by a hair, but it didn’t and I didn’t find out until after I finished the video and moved the car. I saved the ends of the gc bumper so I’m gonna trace it and shape it into that in the next bumper video
